So much in fact that Clarkson (Of Top Gear fame) seriously hurt his neck when testing it out on the Fuji Speedway. Those of us who drive with the interior view like being able to see the shifter move and the windows roll down, it's part of the immersion in the game. Truth be told, working doors isn't all that important, but it is nice to have when you are goofing around in the dealer or garage.

hybrid = both gas (petrol) and electric motor power, but on a lexus the electric motor only turns on at speeds below 30mph and even then only when under light acceleration, otherwise its purely gas engine operation.

yes it uses a motec type deal, but I'm sure that it could be faked since it's still a dial rather than a moving bar or numbers. also, tool, if you are able to make the 300zx to your criteria, it may just be the only car I drive in TDU. I absolutely love that car!

I may have missed the news, as I don't check this forum too often, but what happened with the SLR 722 edition? I've run searches for SLR 722 but I can only find marshmarsh16's mod (which I already have and am loving)

Yes Hawaii is famous for volcanoes, but Oahu does not have any. A realism stickler like myself therefore doesn't see a reason to put a volcano texture in the game. Not to mention that the textures are probably shared across the entire island, so putting say lava somewhere on a mountain would put it in a park or by the side of the road somewhere else (or maybe even checkerboard or cover the island in said texture).

Technically the designs are painted on, but I have to admit that the graphic design doesn't look all that amazing. From the standpoint of a guy in the automotive industry, I know that there are artists out there who can produce much better results with a paint gun (how about a Chip Foose LP 710/2? :D)

has anyone tried loading the game without an interior for this car? shark says to delete it, so maybe this isn't supposed to use an interior yet EDIT: OK just tried it without using an interior. Everything loads up, and it has a (super) low poly interior even without an actual interior file. Now, I know that this is a Beta and Shark warned us that it has some bugs, but watching my windows hover 3-4 feet away from my car when they are in the "down" position is just hilarious XD. I have to say though, that the parts that aren't buggy (which is actually a majority of this car in this release, only the windows (as mentioned above), rims (same as in maplecars picture), LEDs in the headlight (always on) and seatbelt (was sticking out of the window) were weird for me. everything else seemed fine for the beta stage) show just how awesome of a mod this is going to be when it is finished.

I don't think it's so much an installation issue that he's worried about, as a distribution issue. by only including the link to a downloader program, it insures that his mods are only hosted on his site (which for some reason is producing a 404 error when I click on the link in his sig). the problem I'm having though is that when the program pops up the .net error (see picture below) and I hit "continue" it only downloads the exterior. Error Picture: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- This error said ".NET Framework" in the title bar before I got the SP1 for .NET Framework 3.5

the downloader program generates a .net framework error, and I have version 3.5
