don't worry, most of us have the magic map. and those that don't can get it very easily. just make a note that tells people they need the magic map in order for the mod to work.

personally, I like the nice big lambo badge. also, glad to hear that you figured out what the issue was with the exhaust texture. it didn't kill me to have that issue (since I normally drive inside the cab anyway), but having it fixed gives it that extra special touch that makes it a tool831 mod :D

Ok, I see you have an ATI HD4870 1G, which is equivalent to the nVidia GTX series cards, or top of the top, as they say. You don't have the exhaust texture issue, while Andreaz1 (running a 7800) does. So I believe that the issue is the GPU, and it's probably something that we budget rigs are going to have to deal with.

Well I've checked everyone's rigs (except yours, cause you don't have yours posted! lol), and I've noticed that you all have an 8 series card or better. I can't confirm it, since the pics posted here that have the wonky exhaust texture don't have their rig specs posted either, but I'm betting that the texture is getting messed up by lower end graphics cards. I would test this theory, but I don't have enough cash to get a new graphics card.

What type of systems are you and your testers running (ie vid card, mobo, CPU, etc, and video settings)? It may give a little insight as to what we may have to do to get our systems seeing things like yours does, or give an idea what may need to be done to make the texture work on other systems (whichever is easier for both you and us lowly users)

I used to work at a dealership that had a few of these for long distance trips to pick up cars from other dealerships. they regularly made 22-25 mpg on the highway. nice, reliable, smooooooooooth running car.

the magic map is as difficult as this: 1) Backup your Bnk1.map file 2) Copy the correct version of DJey's Magic Map 3) Paste the correct version of DJey's Magic Map over the Bnk1.map file in your TDU folder 4) Install your mods as before Oh wait, that isn't hard....

I too have noticed that the passenger side exhaust is bright white. I do not use HDR, so I don't know what the issue might be. Also (as seen in pic 2) I noticed that the body seems to be a little more forward than it should (wheels are too far back in the wheel well). I really like the new styling up front, and the fact that they moved the antenna to the back fender. Since the new one is probably identical to the previous body under the bodypanels, I wonder if you can bolt the previous rear bumper and taillights up to make it more badass in the rear.

*squeals like a little girl* Oh I can't wait for these! I'll prolly use Maplecars interior (which is what I'm using now) for the Murc, but I am so ready for the LP exterior :D

I can tell you from experience that the Megapack is more than 3 activations, since I've had to reinstall at least 5 times (b/c of virus, not TDU issues), and it has always worked. Of course, it may be a fluke since I got my Megapack when it was "leaked" (released in US only, then retracted, then released worldwide).

on the interior pic for the stock version, I noticed an automatic transmission gear selector. Heresy I say! j/k, but you may want to fix that, just a little nitpick. I can live with it either way though if you don't want to go back (since it's just making more work for you). keep up the awesome work! btw, what would you suggest for someone who wants to dabble in modding to see if they're any good at it?

U.S. doesn't get alot of the performance Fords from European and Aussie markets for a few primary reasons: 1) EPA regulations (Most overseas emissions less restrictive than U.S./California emissions laws) 2) Safety regulations (some of the performance cars have less structure/safety devices to save weight) 3) American buyers (Ford buyers in U.S. primarily trucks or bigger luxury cars ie Crown Vic or Taurus) 4) The Mustang (most surveys that Ford conducts to its customers (ie the old farts who think cast iron is still the best material for engine blocks and heads) say that the Mustang is all the sports car America needs from Ford) And this is all coming from a major Ford Fanboy, so I'm not trying to make Ford look bad, it's just the way it is.

Sometimes, I wish I lived down under. This is one of those times.
