Thanks everyone! No, that's not normal  That's a real easy fix though and it will be fixed before the release. -

Even more updates in first post!! I'm working as fast as I can guys! Only an hour or two a few days a week(between work, planning a wedding, my aquarium, ect.) This is my first time ever working with a 3d modeler and I'm learning new things everyday. I am looking for tips for the lights. I can't get them right. It has something to do with shadowing/reflections. In one direction they are black, the oppisite they look fine. I've tried combo's of materials with no luck. -

Yeah, I noticed that too. I wasn't going to say anything and see if anyone else noticed! I'll work on scaling it to size. EDIT: I just imported the S7 to compare sizes S7: L: 188 in; W: 78 in Carrera: L: 182 in; W: 76 in All of the dimensions of the Carrera look good next to the S7. Maybe it was just the pics? -

More updates in first post Thanks guys! I'm keeping it the way it is. I hope to get done with it soon, so I can start on a new car (I'm not ready to work on requests). I already know which one, and it hasn't been mentioned here yet!! I'm trying to learn 3d studio, but it's so different from zmod! -

I'll probably just make it dark. If I find some room for a mesh, we'll see how that goes! Updates: I finally figured out how to make the lights work (the rear at least). The reflection is off, but I'm tired and have to work in 5 hours. And yes, the lights on the spoiler do move up and down with the spoiler  Even if you are braking and moving the spoiler at the same time! I still need to fix: Side mirrors Space between exhaust Badges Reflections Some body panels -
I like it! It took a while for me to find my thread though! It's nice to see what all is available to download, and what is coming in the future. You can also track how popular a certain car is by page views (I know it's not perfect, but it still shows whats being looked at). That way, if we spend a lot of time on a car that gets very little views/downloads, we'll start to know what the people want and be able to deliver better.

Sorry for the triple post!! Here is a good quality vid looking back in cockpit view. It's 36mb and the server is slow, so it will take a few minutes to load. An image should appear when it's ready to play. https://home.comcast.net/~jason-roni/rear.html -

Sorry for the crappy quality! youtube would not let me upload the original AVI so I had to convert it to WMV... -

Updates : Doors & windows finally open right. Engine & cover mapped. Exhaust fixed. Left to do: All lights Fix the bottom Side mirrors Don't get your hopes up for the interior just yet. -
The body (bumpers, roof, hood, trunk, spoiler, quarter panels) are one group. The doors each have their own group.

I hit a wall. I have the engine and cover mapped and looks great in zmod, but if I put it in game, it crashes. Also, TDU tools crashed yesterday and now my game crashes to desktop after the second video at startup. EDIT: I got the game working again, damn radial.cdb. Now to just get the textures to work. -

I think I can put this body on any car. In fact. I'll put it on a RUF right now and check... Edit: It took longer to get fraps to work than it did to change the original BNK size limit and put it in the game: http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/6/5/52575/tdupics/TestDriveUnlimited%202008-08-18%2020-00-35-20.jpg -

Thanks! I'll move it to a ruf eventually. The Stradale was one of the largest BNK files, that's why I chose it. Like I said, now that I know the MAP file and how to find the right key, the sky is the limit :) -
