  1. Looks like HP 2010, but set in a big city. This could make the online Most Wanted and Interceptor modes even more interesting, if they do bring them back. Trucks and SUVs will probably be a nice addition too.
  2. If you mean the one with the Daihatsu, I believe that's a real shot she posted to show what a kei car is.
  3. ^The MLP fanbase in a nutshell.
  4. There's only been 2 entrants so far, I'm giving more people a chance to enter.
  5. 4th time I've postponed the entry deadline... must be a new record. It's a shame PhOTW is starting to go down the crapper.
  6. Closing date postponed until next week.
  7. I'm looking forward to this, good thing they left it to Criterion this time. I absolutely loved HP 2010, I kept playing it online for way over a year. Hopefully the online Interceptor mode will be making a return.

  19. Congrats to Mb, carlos_69 and Incognito for winning :) Car Modification Of The Week: Week 51 Rules: The car must be tuned by you. No voting for yourself come poll day. 20. Definitely. Not in an uncontrollable/wobbly/unresponsive way, just... how can I put this... flat. It feels like your car is made of styrofoam, there's no weight to it at all. EDIT: I've tried the online destruction derby mode, it's much better. The simplistic physics kinda work there. It's obvious that it was the derbies, not the racing, that the development team focused on. I'm still not sure whether to get the full version though.
  21. The demo has recently come out on all three platforms, so you can see what the game's like. I've just tried it, and in my humble opinion it's crap. It's really sad to see what once was a great rally game series devolve into a mediocre game for 7-year-olds who like to watch brightly painted clunkers smash into each other. If only the handling and the crashes were well executed, it might have been a decent game, but the driving physics have been simplified to the point where the game presents absolutely no challenge, unless perhaps the only other game you've played is Angry Birds. The damage model is almost nonexistent, and the crashes feel like smashing 2 sponges together. What's the point of making a destruction-oriented game where the crashes don't even feel powerful? I didn't get to try the multiplayer, as you have to "challenge a friend" to be able to access it (stupid forced word-of-mouth marketing), so here's hoping the online gameplay is better.
  22. Congrats to all three winners! ;)
  23. Congrats to SBCriss for winning! :) Week 83 Rules: Photo MUST be taken by you. No Voting for yourself! Photos should be within the limits, which means - not bigger than 500 kb. The winner chooses the next week's theme. If someone wins twice in a row, the runner-up chooses the next theme. If you post more than one photo, you must tell us which one you'll enter with. If you don't, the first photo that you've posted will be entered. Photos cannot be entered twice. Your photo must follow the theme. The person who chose the theme has ultimate control over whether a photo gets entered or not - there will be no arguing over whether a photo is acceptable. Basic photoshopping is allowed, such as resizing, brightness, contrast, selective coloring, saturation, cropping, hue, B&W, noise reduction, borders, your name/logo etc. No pasting extra objects to the photo, changing backgrounds etc, as that's not what PhOTW is about. This week's theme: Interiors Houses, cars, warehouses; any kind of interior. Closing Date: Thursday, 21st June
