This R/C R8 wannabe came with my new WLAN modem today as a "promotional item" (hence the Linksys stickers all over it). I took many photos, so that you can admire its quality :p What you can't experience through the internet is the really strong smell of cheap plastic, which struck me with maximum power the second I opened the box :eek:

I don't play anymore, I uninstalled the PC version in pursuit of disk space. I still have the PSP version, which I sometimes play when I'm away from home... but generally I've moved on to other games (FUEL, Shift, GT PSP, F1 2009). Maybe one day I'll install TDU again... it's one of the best racing games I've played, and all those mods look so tempting :drool:

Great job as always, but err... I believe it's "Destinies" not "Destenies" (on the Corvette wallpaper) ;)

I played it some more, so I guess I can say more about it now... It's quite a lot of fun to play actually, very challenging, so every victory brings a lot of satisfaction. Sadly it's not bug-free though... For example, the stewards sometimes give out penalties for completely no reason, which can be quite frustrating. Also, in the third qualifying session, all cars have more fuel and therefore achieve slower lap times than in the first two sessions... except the player car, which indeed has more fuel according to the fuel meter, but doesn't feel any different to drive. Because of that, it's way too easy to achieve pole position. I also found it strange that the KERS system (which, as probably all of you know, is powered by electric motors) sounds like... NOS :oook: Still, despite its bugs, it's a lot of fun and worth buying IMO.
