Its when a power disruption occurs mostly. It's designed to check over the file structure of the hard drive to ensure that all the system files are contiguous. As others have said, it's perfectly safe (and healthy) for your laptop to perform these checks. Only start worrying when it finds errors.

LG GT540 Optimus: Runs Android 2.1 and it generally a rather awesome phone. Battery life is a bit crap, at just over a day and a half. (nothing compared to my old Samsung Tocco Lite at well over a week)

I use Wavepad and Audacity for sound mods. Audacity with it's ease of use, but Wavepad to eliminate the silence at the end of every exported track from Audacity.

No, an S6! The F1 had far too much power and not enough brakes. Me and my 4WD bumbled around the corners beautifully!

Servers were fine for me yesterday. Could connect to quite a few people without fault. Even had an "outrun" against a Mclaren F1 with my Audi RS6!
