Yeah. Some cars have "Sequential Shifters" You need to set a control for "gear up" and "Gear Down" in the options/controls menu.

He most probably means the offroad capabilites of the majority of the cars aren't terribly good. Coupled with the fact that if you begin to flip, you just get reset on the side of the mountain, facing the wrong way.

I think most people (Including myself) Are looking for an SVT Cobra-like sound. You know, the ones with the Kenne Bells/Whipple Superchargers. One that has a very noticable Supercharger Whine. Perhaps one has already appeared, I haven't noticed it yet. There is one however, for the S281E which has a whistle, but it wasn't quite the whine I was looking for.

To be honest, Haglef. The plate size is only 256x128. You're not going to get much detail in it. I personally think that Roma will be unreadable.

Change the linearity on the TDU options, drag the slider to the left. EDIT: Noticed that you already said about the linearity. Uhh... use your wheel's software to create a custom profile?

Fenix. What the guys here are trying to say is - what you are doing IS ILLEGAL. YOU did not create the original model, The creators of the game did. Converting them is (I think) a breach of copyright. CHARGING for the conversions is just insanely illegal. I do have a good mind to contact the companies in question here. I really do.

Literally copy and paste, Tom. The db files go in ..\Atari\Bnk\DataBase The LogoTexture thingy (forgotten the actual name) goes into ..\Atari\Bnk\FrontEnd\AllRes\ That's it!

Nope, it's the two "unfindable images" image. You've set an attachment as your signature, and both of the links to those attachments are dead links. I'd recommend you upload the signature you want to Photobucket/the like and go from there.

I'll have a look at it for you. Chrome tells me that you DO have 2 images there though.

+rep for the mature understanding. As with all our modders here, you're a credit to to the community and I would say that we wouldn't have nearly as many members as we do if it wasn't for the modders and yourselves. I'd take back my comment about removing the feature. As you said, realism is everything for this game. and I do think that changing the drivetrain will improve the modding capabilities of the game. Besides, you're not going to get a helluva lot of difference from changing the drivetrain. Still has the same top speed, and you'll gain maybe 1/4 of a second 0-60 time? I can't land on a stable decision here, I would vouch for allowing it, but for the immaturity of some cheaters, I would also vouch for disallowing it.

Personally, it doesn't bother me too much as I just cruise... Those who are for races though will obviously object to it. Putting a password on a feature is out of the question, as it'd undoubtedly be in the open soon enough. Perhaps if the feature was able to determine if the host is in a race or not? As I'm sure cruisers would want to have a 4WD Audi R8 instead of the RWD Ascari for example. The only solution that comes to mind straight away is to remove the feature altogether.

Fenix, I think the members here would appreciate it more if you gave a link to the actual file, not the picture. If the model in question is a Payware model (one you have to pay for...) I don't think the members here will be particularly interested. Just a head's up. Oh yeah, take a look at the date of the last post ;)
