released Ferrari 288 GTO Sound Mod [v1.1]
CarlosVega replied to CarlosVega's topic in Car Customization Mods
Thanks for the comment! :) Made a small modification and updated to v1.1. -
Ferrari GTO T-Shirts Clothes Mod [v1.0] Description Applies the Ferrari GTO logo on 'Foxx' and 'Ecko' t-shirts. Creator CarlosVega Note This mod does not require TDU Modding Tools for installation. Also, all my other T-Shirt mods were updated for easier installation. TDU Modding Tools no longer required for installion of all of them. A simple extract and copy of the BNK files will do. See the corresponding threads for the latest versions. Download link TDU_Ferrari_GTO_T-Shirts_v1.0.zip Preview Image

Thanks for that 512 TR bugfix! :) That bug always annoyed me while driving.

While we are all waiting for the F40 sound mod to be released, allow me to recommend the one made by Reilsss: http://tduaddons.com/tdu/sounds/ferrari_f40 It's excellent too, and a personal favorite of mine.

First, the WAV files must have the correct properties, such as sample rate, channels and resolution. Usually you need this: Sample rate: 44100 Hz Channels: One (Mono) Resolution: 16 bit To get the correct properties for each file, open the corresponding file from the original BNK and check its properties with your audio editor. Second, each file must have a length identical (or at least very close) to the corresponding one from the original BNK file. Finally, you must save them to Microsoft ADPCM format. This is a compressed file format (lossy compresion, as far as i know), which should reduce the files size to approx. 20 to 30 percent.

Signed. That would be a monster car for TDU. http://www.mercedes-amg.com/SL65BlackSeries/

TDUZoqqer/styla_playa: Porsche 996 GT3 RS
CarlosVega replied to TDUZoqqer's topic in Car Customization Mods
No offense, but this is the wrong section. This should be the correct one: http://forum.turboduck.net/forumdisplay.php?f=52 -
There is an easy way to get that done: 1. Go to Free Ride Mode (leave your house) 2. Press ESC 3. Go to OPTIONS 4. Press your 'lights' key and hold it down until step 8 5. Go to CONTROLS 6. Go to DASHBOARD 7. Click on WARNING FLASH 8. Release the 'lights' button now 9. Click on CONFIRM Done. However, i do not know how other players see your car - with lights on or off.

If you are refering to the big red building on top of the hill, it's the "Tripler Army Medical Center". As far as i know, the corresponding files can be found within: CommonWorld.bnk CommonWorldDiv2.bnk (low res versions) The files to be edited are: sb_hosp1.2db sb_hosp2.2db sb_hosp3.2db

Wow, looks excellent. Looking forward to downloading it. :)

I'd like to replace the Ferrari 288 GTO sound with a better one. Basically i think the one from Reilsss is excellent, however, the loop at top speed has an annoying "break" (hope you understand what i mean ... my knowledge in English language is limited, sorry). So if anyone knows a good mod or considers to create one, i'd highly appreciate it.

Yes, but there are two problems: The stripes are still visible, no matter how accurate you match the colors The roof gets painted too, in the same color as the stripes
-
Oh, i see. Too bad. Anyway, thanks for the info. :)
-
Good luck with your new job, tool. :) And thanks for all the mods you created!
-
Beautiful car! Big thanks! :) I don't care for the stripes very much. Can i edit the .bnk and remove them, just for myself? Which .2db file do i have to modify?
-
Jeez .... is there something wrong with my eyes or do those rims have teeth? :D
-
Oh wow ... looks lovely on the preview images. :) Looking forward to it!

Great mod, very detailed. Just two issues: The windows open in a weird kind of way. However, not really a problem to me. But why is the exterior so dark? For example, if you apply plain white on the car (custom car paint), the exterior just stays grey. -

Tested it. This sound is actually quite beautiful. Very deep and growling. Finally a Vette sound that fullfills the promises of the term "muscle". :) -
