  1. <begin of rant> FFS, which part of "single player" does he not understand? :-x This is why i hate PR people. Endlessly talk about how awesome it is, but completely ignoring the actual question. The guy asked about single player yet the answers is "when you're driving with other players...". *facepalm* <end of rant> On another note...i'm not sure if i'm happy about the lack of Hardcore mode. I can understand the reasoning for not having it, but on the other side, from what they said certain cars will be easy (arcade-ish), other cars will be hard (sim-ish). This means that someone who wants to drive sim-ish won't be able to do so in all cars. And i find it hard to believe there will be a proper difference between easy and hard cars. I'm really really hoping i'm wrong, but i'm very sceptical about it. That Zonda Cinque is beautiful! Really awesome! Though i can't help but think of "sink" when i read the name... "So what you are driving today? - My sink. - You destroyed your bathroom? - Err, no..." :nanananana:
  2. I think you're misunderstanding. So what exactly do we know? We know that some cars will be "club-exclusive". Club exclusive > Exclusive to clubs > Only available to clubs. Club exclusive just means those cars can only be bought by a club, not by a single player. It does not mean the cars are exclusive or rare. It means they are exclusive (/limited/only available) to clubs. No more, no less.
  3. IMO there is far too much fuzz about the handling while we don't really know anything about it yet. Just remember, it's only a trailer. You can't properly judge handling by watching a video, let alone a video half a year before release. And who says it's actual gameplay and not some staged/animated scene (yes i know they said ingame, but you can stage stuff in the game's rendering engine too)? And remember the TDU1 trailer?...handling in that looked far worse than in these two trailers but the handling in the game was actually a lot of fun. And even in youtube videos people took ingame in TDU1 it sometimes looks odd and different from what it actually feels like when you yourself are playing. If you ask me there are far too many unknowns to even begin judging handling.
  4. Answer in bold. You've got that the wrong way around mate. Club-Exclusive means that those cars are exclusive to clubs, not that the clubs are exclusive to the cars. Meaning, normal players cannot buy them, only clubs can buy them. I don't see any reason why this would mean clubs can only buy club-exclusive cars. Unless there is some information which clearly tells otherwise, but i haven't seen anything of that nature, and the pictures and videos all point in the same direction.
  5. On May 4th he said "Brand new trailer for TDU2 coming this week... Action packed" ( ). So unless there's a delay or something it should be this friday, as in tomorrow
  6. What makes you think that? Sure you can drive the other car too, your club just needs to buy that other car as well. I've never read any mention of clubs only being capable of having only one club exclusive car. As far as i'm aware a club can buy as many club-exclusive cars as the garage can hold (although probably only 1 of each model).
  7. I'm pretty sure the paying for damage simply means you loose the current combo chain or whatever you wanna call it, just like they said on various previous occasions. Eh? Yes, she DID say it. And even if she didn't, because it isn't mentioned in one specific interview doesn't render the other 5000000 times it has been said void. There is 930km of roads of which 310km is offroad. Just like she said in the video, was said in the article, and in the dozens of other articles. There's way too much completely unfounded speculating going on...speculating is good, but only if it's within reason. Making up random stuff isn't going to give you any more information. It's pointless, unnecessary and leads to nothing but confusion.
  8. On the IGN screenshots, the cap in the center of the wheels on the Gumpert Apollo are different colors in different pictures. In some pictures they are red and in others blue. Perhaps we get to choose the color of those too? Eh? Hours? That would be equivalent to an FPS of less than 0.0001 if it took 3 hours to render. No thanks. How about 1/60th of a second per frame? Or shorter. If it's ingame footage as it appears to be and as the guy on Twitter said, it didn't take any longer to render than it takes to play the game :)
  9. M5! :D But a stock one, not horribly modified like in the example pic. Though eissenmann pipes would be sweet...though that's more a sound mod, hardly visible :)
  10. Ghostrider drives cars too (in a crazy way)!
  11. Great work so far! Can't wait for the "full" release :) Would it be possible to make the dashboard so that it actually shows which gear you are in (between the odometer and rev counter), instead of the static N? :) Red? It's pink! Here's a video of that car:
  12. thx everyone :) @Andreaz: yeah your sig and info under avatar make it kinda obvious :nanananana: hehe you crazy dude...next time we go offroading, remind me not to follow you...you always get me killed :D Had a good laugh when i was following you closely at high speed and suddenly that steep cliff came out of nowhere and we both crash landed into that tree
  13. The difference between a normal Murci and an LP640 isn't that big really...they both have the same distinctive sound to them. But that's besides the point...this sample doesn't sound like either... (just for the record, i'm not talking about how realistic it sounds, purely how distinctively it represents the car it is meant to represent...pitch, that hoarse rumble etc...if i were to rate that out of 10 for this sound i'd give it a 1/10...i didn't even recognize it was supposed to be a Murci at all (goes for many of the NFS sounds actually), while TDU's standard Murci sound would get a fat 9/10 in that department as it is unmistakably a murci. It's still a cool sound, i just wouldn't slap it on a Murci).
  14. It's a cool sound...just a shame the sound could have come from any car except a murci, sounds absolutely nothing like a Murci at all...but i can't blame you for that...that's EA's fault i guess :) (TDU's original sound is actually probably the best sound in the game when it comes to how close it is to replicating the real deal, it does that very very well...just lacks the intensity but that's the case for the whole game...or for that matter, for every single sound in every single existing game...the day game developers start using binaural recording will be the greatest revolution in gaming history...mark my words :woot:)
  15. hello everyone :) so yeah i signed up here afterall... i'm sure everybody from the atari forums already knows me...yeah hi  just a tiny bit of TDU info about me...usually online in the evenings (GMT+1), favorite cars: Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Lamborghini Murciélago. Been playing since the day the game was released...always in hardcore mode :)
