Surprised no VW Golf's in this pack with the number Matt has been driving recently. (That said the main ones are probably already in game)
Unfortunately, not a single Volkswagen in FH3. I believe it was their own decision.

Uh, huh, double-post, but this one's worth it. You may want to watch this.

M2! :happyroll:
Today we will launch the latest content update for Forza Horizon 3 on both Xbox One and Windows 10. We expect this update will go live around 10 a.m. Pacific. This latest update also includes numerous improvements for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions of Forza Horizon 3. These improvements include:
Windows 10
- Fixed a performance issue on Windows 10 that caused stuttering with high or unlocked framerates on certain hardware configurations
- Improved stability on Windows 10
- Disable mouse move detection while driving
- The Windows 10 video options screen will no longer ask users to save when no changes have been made
- Additional options have been added to the Windows 10 Advanced Controller Menu. These include:
o Steering wheel sensitivity
o Invert Force Feedback
o Centre spring scale
o Damping scale
- Fixed a problem where pre-order cars and the lalalala Warthog were not appearing in the Windows 10 version of the game for some players
Wheel Improvements
- Logitech G27 is now registered correctly on Windows 10, so the correct default mapping will be applied
- All wheels with enough buttons have had the horn added to their default mappings on Windows 10
- Fix to dead zones for acceleration and braking axes on wheels
- Default mappings for all TX Racing Wheel variants
- Fixed a bug where custom input mappings would not save successfully
General Improvements
- The Social and Rivals tabs will now unlock for players with Xbox Live Silver accounts
- Fixed a bug where the racing line would sometimes disappear
- Controller hot swapping is now available. Players can switch between controllers/their keyboard whenever they choose (including the wheel)
- Various content fixes for cars
In addition to the fixes above arriving with today’s update, the teams at Playground and Turn 10 are working on addressing further known issues in Forza Horizon 3 including force feedback and wheel support, general stability and performance, and more. Look for more details on these improvements in the future.

Maybe they'll release patches with the DLC update?
-
Might be getting first DLC soon? I read first Tuesday of the month is pretty exciting?
I hope they're gonna put the BMW M2 in the DLC; it was in one of the Youtube videos posted here.

I've read that the PC version has been cracked and should be open for modding. Apparently, the game uses Internet connection only at start-up and then does not need it to run. Not sure if I can post a link here, but it's on reddit.

I have no idea what is going on at Audi... They've got some amazing-looking cars like the TT, R8, RS 3 Sedan, and then the SUVs... The new Q5 is the same car with a new front grille. Even Porsche designers are not that lazy.
The Civic is ugly as ever. Holy hell what a mess of a design. They sure as hell are on crack at Honda (and Lexus and Toyota) in Japan.

Ride height of a Lada, fancy ricey black accents and fake vents, and central exhaust. It'll have either a 1.0 or 1.5 turbo engines. Yeah, a 1.0 with two central exhaust pipes.
Of course it needs the same number of exhaust pipes as the Ferari F40.
And neither I understand this. It's an MPV/crossover thing for families and they really have to torture the dashboard & steering wheel like this?

At the press conference they confirmed that they're going to make an "AMG performance hybrid car featuring our F1 drivetrain technology; some may call it a hypercar"

Just a heads-up for the few people who come here - the Paris Autoshow starts in just two days.
Here's a rundown of what to expect incl. some of the recently revealed cars.

Matt LeBlanc will be the head of TG for the next season of Top Gear; Harrismonkey and Roy will be the other two main persons.

Regarding car models... it's a bit of a shame in some cases the detail differences between showroom/photomode cars and the models while racing is sometimes too clear to see. Same goes for cars that might have been imported from older Forza's. And some details are a bit off, like in the E63 where all buttons light up white instead of a yellowish color, and the parking sensor display shows all blips on. Something that usually only happens when you practically touch the object they're trying to warn you for. Would have also liked to see more OEM wheel styles to choose from.
See, this is really grinding my gears.
I watched a FH3 video yesterday and the car there had wrong wheels, i.e. the rears should have been more concave due to being different size and so forth. This is the level of detail Ivory had in TDU2! It's always the details like color/texture of wheels, grilles, stuff Helmy mentioned, etc. that they can't / don't wanna get right.
This is a good example of how bad the recyling is: headlights, reflections, windows.
I'd fire everyone in the vehicle development at T10/Playground. :bmad:

Solved! Bought a usb adapter from Amazon.
-
Got the original CD game? I've tried pirated versions in the past and they all had problems.
-
This is nuts!
Dude had more luck in that video than I had in my entire life.
-
This is how I was installing back in the day
Install legit game
Apply 1.6A patch
Install megapack
Install 1.68 patch
Test game
Always worked.

I have no other option than WiFi sadly.
They sell mini wifi cards for laptops, it is possible to swap them out, but the USB adapter is the easier way. So you do think the adapter would do the job?

I will gladly participate in turboduck car meets. Could be fun.

:bump:
I was told that in order to play online games on my POS Acer VN7 laptop, I need to buy a new wireless network card because the standard card made by Qualcomm Atheros is totally useless. I always get kicked out after several minutes of playtime no matter where I am. Not the only one who's having these problems with this laptop.
Now, I've done some quick first-page Google research. There are countless types of cars on Amazon and also I've found that there are USB wireless network adapters. Since I have not done any type of PC wrenching, the USB adapters seem to be the better solution for me. Do you think they would solve my problems or do I really have to buy a new card? :hmmm:
