There're few clips I got of an actual SLR sound. They are authentic (from an SLR 722), so it probably shouldn't be a big deal creating an awesome sound outta these to mod into TDU. Could someone please mention how to create a sound for TDU outta these? What would I need? If you're willing to help, I can send you the lot for analysis. :)

As I said before, here comes the next sound. Now it's time for Skyline, which didn't sound good stock in TDU. I know that stock R34 doesn't make as great sound as Gallardo or other supercar, but that did sound too quiet and too calm. New GT-R is a big technical achievment with it's handling and accelerating at it's price. Maybe it doesn't sound so great as supercars, but it deserves a decent sound mod. So here it is. In Shift GT-R, Spec V and G35 have the same sound, so I won't be doing it three times. It was done for Skyline R34, but I've tried it on Noble M400 and it fits there well (IK - RUF Rt12), just limit those revs to 7000. And with TDU Modding Tools thanks to Djey, we can have it with proper gears and 4 wheel drive, which makes it really great handling. that was the first car game i played,and motor sounds were fantastic,.even better than the current nfs shift,especially 2000 911 turbo sound was the most amazing car sound i heard in a game,it was very realistic. i just wonder,is it possible to convert it to TDU and how?maybe some experienced friends can make it for us? :o please.... :) -

For those of you,who don't like the sound of the RS4,V8Vantage( or the Lotus Esprit v8),and don't like any of the downloads for these cars, swap the sound of the Maserati Cambiocorsa to these cars. It's the same size of the V8, and the rpm is about the same.It's one of my favourite modern V8 engine sounds, and it will give these cars a new life.You'll need the Magic Map mod though, the Cambiocorsa file( Mas rst ) is bigger than any of these files. Edit : Sorry, I just saw there was already a thread about sound file swapping, I'll search more carefully next time.

Hi guys, I just started recently playing Test Drive Unlimited online, everything goes smoothly until I meet some other ppl on the server. I can see them on my map, but the moment I'm getting close to them. The audio starts jerking, the engine sound starts echoing & somehow rolling really loud, it's really annoying.. like glou glou glou glou.. I dunno exactly how to describe it accurately.. at the beginning I thought someone was hacking or something.. but then again, it happens with everybody I meet. It's so annoying that I can't actually play online.. I know it's not my computer or something corrupted in my Tdu files because I tried playing another profile offline, nothing wrong. Please I need a solution :crying: Sorry if I'm not posting in the right section =/

Honestly, default sound of TDU's RS4 is just rubbish. So why not convert this from Shift, which is way better? Here it is, proper V8 Audi sound, which is the same for RS4 and R8 (same samples in Shift), cause they both have the same engine with same power. Enjoy my work! 2008 BMW M3 Stock Sound Mod... [Re-make] So, I realised that the last version didnt really go down well :p so I've persevered and created a whole new version :D I've recorded the sound to a higher quality and used totally new samples :lol:.
