Coconut island

Foreword: If you see players mysteriously fly to a blank island during a cruise, chances are they have this mod.


  • DO NOT Use these new roads if you have a penalty meter: Car delivery missions will fail if you use these new roads! I know its tempting to use this as a shortcut, but stick to original tdu roads for now.


This mod replaces an empty island off the coast on the east side of Oahu. This mod adds a new racetrack(Not based in RL) Complete with rumble strips, starting-line, Pole position.

This map is a bit smaller than Surfer's island but much more detailed, and more convenient as you can drive there via two bridges.

Known Issues

Shadows, Yep... they still flicker like crazy, one day ill crack this problem

Landscape messed up: very occasionally the landscape messes up, spilling onto the road, Remapping (Going to map mode spawn somewhere else then spawning back again)fixes the problem 

TDU road ruined: Unfortunately a tiny tiny part of TDU road had to be replaced to make the new bridge work. The area before was really nothing special, you wont miss anything.

Map Half missing: The map is a little bugged when you look at from map view, but its fine.


Warning: this will replace your world-map(The map in Map-mode), If you don't want to replace the world map remove Hawaii.bnk from the .RAR

Extract files over Test Drive Unlimited directory files.

It should replace

I like it here is my wishlist @BEight

1) Please remove trees that force blind drive into the last corner.

2) Please if possible, make the road color and texture to match one on the official race track. So it is darker, more real and better for eyes.

3) Please connect racetrack with island exit road on both sides, currently only on one side.

4. Parking place has view on the house - not an ideal view

Very fun track @BEight, despite some bugs & lack of "the quality of the originals", but I guess additionnal tracks have limits in TDU (lack of shadows, etc.), as you explained.

Will it be possible to update it, at least that follow:

#1: As vit-jano said, the left tree on the end slalom (the one we see at the right of the F50, in respective picture), is hidding the corner, we drive blindly and we have to recall the approximate right path to reach right position for the right corner before the finish line, this is annoying.

#2: If you could move a bit outside of the side of road the tree which is on the right corner (a +90° one) of this picture (we do not see it on it, tree is right after it on the left, but too close of the asphalt).

#3: Add side barriers at the finish line (well, continue them a bit more above the bridge), for realism, and prevent us to mistake & fall on the left if we mess! Haha!

PS: Any plans to port TDU2's tracks into TDU1? TDU2 has plenty of good racetracks TDU1 lacks of.

This map was made in the stone ages lol. I was very limited by resources back then.

I'll consider these changes when the time to update this mod comes, but this map isnt on my todo-list.

I'm planning to add the tracks as part of the new road project mod, again when i get round to it.
