Assign more than one control to a function

Is this possible?

 

I'm using a DualShock 3 controller. Naturally, X corresponds with accelerate, and [] corresponds with brake. However, in addition to this setup, I'd like the right analog stick to also control acceleration and breaking, as in games like Need For Speed and Burnout Paradise.

 

The problem is that TDU only seems to allow one control per function, which is pretty ridiculous; no alternative controls?

 

I've searched Google endlessly, and haven't found anything. Is there any way to do what I'm wanting?
