Multi stage style progression from the fairly tame untuned examples to the aggressive Mine's variants. Features dynamic turbo spool and multi stage blowoff valve for each stage of progression, decel sounds, and more. Made with my Common.BNK sounds mod in mind, results may vary with other Common sound mods in use. Does not include sounds for Fast & Furious model(s). Easily back up original sounds by renaming them x_audiobackup.bnk. Install to Euro\Bnk\Sound\Vehicules, replace when prompted. While i'm baking some mods, i decided to make a custom radio mod from the best Fast n' Furious game ever! Everytime i try something new i always gets mezmerized on how can it be even better with only 700kb sound limit! Now i tried to make an lamborghini Murcielago, the absolute classic supercar of the 2000's! An icon of many automobile calendar of this era XD Jokes apart, if you played the hell of the best era of NEED FOR SPEED you're not strange to this car, so it doesn't need any presentation! This 6.2 v12 was a little challenging to make at first, remember what i said about dyno sources be so loud to make a loop? it was not different, not to mention many of the decent ones were with a custom exhaust kit that make the car sound more like a f1 car, like it wasn't pitched enough XD so i had to rely on Forza motorsport and NFS again, this time i used the Hot Pursuit one, pitched it correctly, reverbed and put a little of bass, and then i thought: well, i wanted it to sound like a FI exhaust too XD so i made it that close and thought it would be a good idea to put that sound on the lp640 and LP670sv which sounds very close to this exhaust! This sound got: Engine sound from Forza Motorsport 7 lp670 and Need for speed hot pursuit 2010 with a corrected pitch that makes the sound loud without blowing up your ears like my previous sound mods XD smooth traction and pop ups when you decelerates In the OG murcielago 2005 you can notice how smooth it is, and how naturally it revs without sounding lame Real idle and start sound! Description This mod adds 139 additional races to TDU Platinum, primarily multiplayer and club races that have been converted to single player races, with many having newly modified routes. These races have been set to unlock gradually as you increase your player level. Some of the new races have entry requirements involving the use of the new manufacturers added by TDU Platinum. Along with this, several of the base game races have also had their prize payouts modified to be similar to those of the new races, and a small number have also had their routes adjusted. Many of the converted multiplayer and club races were max speed races, which I felt was rather overkill to retain as is. I've converted several of these into either standard races or time trial events. They will still appear on the map as speed races and count towards the Speed Race achievement progress, but other than this they function correctly as standard races/time trials. If I can find how to convert the map markers for these races to their new respective race types I will do this in a future update. The mod includes a custom Database file, which adds additional possible AI opponents. Some of the manufacturers in TDU Platinum do not have many of their cars assigned to the AI by default, for instance RUF only has one car assigned. I modified the Database to add additional models to these under-represented manufacturers to add extra variety to the opponents in certain manufacturer-specific races. This mod comes in two versions, featuring either standard length knockouts consisting of three to seven opponents, or shortened knockouts featuring only three opponents (except one race which features five opponents due to the very short lap length). Both versions are included in the mod zip file. Requirements To use this mod, you will need the following prerequisite mods: TDU Platinum v1.21 by Milli 289 Races on Map by tasos007007 Regarding the 289 Races on Map mod, you only need to install the contents of the 'Test Drive Unlimited' folder within the mod's zip file, so ignore the contents of the other three folders. How to Install Installation of this mod is simple. After installing both TDU Platinum and the 289 Races on Map mods, extract the contents of the folder of the corresponding version of the mod you wish to use to the root directory for your TDU installation (by default this would be "X:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited", where X is the drive letter where you installed the game). To check that the mod has installed correctly, enter any player house that you own. From there, select 'Game Info > Game Progress' and tab over to the 'Single Player Challenges' section. Hover over the Single Player Victory Level 6 target to see if it shows 259 races to complete the objective. I've also included an add-on that modifies two max speed races to become money races you can farm to earn large amounts very quickly for purchasing cars and/or properties. Further details about which races these are can be found in the ReadMe in the 'Money Races' folder. To install these simply extract the contents of the 'Money Races' folder to the TDU root directory and select 'yes' when prompted about overwriting files. Hints & Tips When you reach Amateur level, several races will unlock which feature routes that pass by the locations of the seven tuning shops on the map, allowing you to easily unlock them. These races are: Route for Take-off (Japan Auto Parts and British Specialist) The Puuni Race (Today's American Parts) Ascent of the Pepe (US Muscle Tuner) Lead Soles (European Specialist and British Parts) Friends or Enemies? (Forza Tuner) For the races requiring cars from RUF, Mine's and the BMW M3 GTR, these cars are not available for purchase directly from the car dealers. To acquire these cars, you will need to purchase a base model car and upgrade it into the respective models. These are as follows: RUF - Select Porsche 911 models (pre-2010s) and Boxster S Mine's - Nissan R32 GT-R and R34 GT-R BMW M3 GTR - BMW M3 E46 (the name of the event, Oahu's Most Wanted, provides a clue to which M3 GTR to upgrade to) The Champion level class-restricted races up to class C feature opponents two classes above the entry requirement class. So for example, the class F Champion level race features class D opponents, and the class C races feature class A opponents (class B and A events feature class A opponents). These races are designed to encourage the use of upgraded cars, as while not impossible, they are very difficult to win with stock cars. Have fun!

This is a personal project I've been working on throughout this year, and although it's not complete yet, it's in a good enough shape that I feel safe enough to share this with other people. Consider this mod to be an open beta - provide feedback if you run into bugs or balance issues, and make backups! Vintage Platinum is a submod for the 1.21 version of TDU Platinum that rebalances the game to be set around 1986-1987, featuring only classic cars from the era - normally only available in Class G in regular Platinum (as well as a few non-G cars that were in production by '86), now redistributed to various other classes so as to make racing progression feasible in regular gameplay. I created this because I'm personally a big fan of older cars and, after playing games like Driver: Parallel Lines and Motor City Online, had developed an interest on the concept of a racing game set squarely around the 1970s-1980s, centered exclusively around the sports and performance cars of the late 20th century prior to the 1990s. This mod comes with Patch 1975 bundled as a download, so you are able to replace the 1990s-2000s traffic with something more period-appropriate. Patch 1975 was NOT made by me - it is an old mod made by the OAHUCARS team that got nearly lost when their website went down, and all credit goes to them! - INSTALLATION - You need to also download the Music mod. Drop the "Bnk" and "Radio" folders in your TDU installation folder. As stated before, make backups, or you will have to reinstall Platinum again when you want to go back to the present day. Do not put the Documentation folder in your game directory, it only contains details about the inner workings of this mod and the ramblings of a madwoman with a special interest in classic cars. Patch 1975 has its own instructions. You may need Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 for the installer to work. If you're playing on the Steam Deck or Linux, just install "dotnet20" through Winetricks on Wine or Dependencies on Bottles. Again, make backups! - KNOWN ISSUES - As stated earlier, the mod is not feature-complete yet as I haven't had the time or energy to complete it, but right now that largely applies to the Vehicle Transport missions as I haven't fully replaced every car with them (it's an extremely time-consuming task), as well as the possibility of a few races not being properly re-balanced (which I would like feedback on, so I can properly fix it). Additionally, various vehicle dealerships still show modern cars parked in front of them. All of these are (relatively) minor flaws that I plan to fix eventually, but as mentioned, they are extremely time-consuming to do. Besides that, however, there are multiple drawbacks with this mod that you should keep in mind, and currently they are completely unfixable as there's nothing I can do about them - the most important one is that you cannot achieve 100% progression, because several Courier, Hitchhiker and Top Model missions still require you to use modern cars and haven't been rebalanced to accomodate for the slower cars; as far as I'm (and other experienced TDU modders are) aware, there is currently no known way to edit those missions, which means there's nothing I can do to fix it. Additionally, of the Vehicle Transport missions I did edit to feature older cars, a surprising amount of them are bugged and have a completely chromed paintjob for some reason, which I can't figure out how to fix yet. Please keep those factors in mind when playing with this mod.
