The money you drop after being killed is a tiny amount compared to what you have on you. The warning about other players being able to steal your money is because at Lvl 50, you get access to a Mugger - via Lamar - who you can call and send to any player. The mugger is ideal for getting people out of tanks for an easy sniper kill also. :)

They aren't tough as they were in SA iirc, a few explosions under them and they get wrecked, :(

Yep, when you check out your 'User CP' and look at your recent rep that's when you see how Likes gave you rep.

Shame most of his followers are too young and/or stupid to realise that he was effectively going along with the enemy in regards to the "gamers". I've heard a number of people say this is locked 30 on PC, is that true?

It's not brilliant, I mean moneywise is quite stingy in races, short races net you really nothing. Hopefully they'll bump these in the non-too-distant future. BTW see me online, invite to your jobs! I'll bring the Bird and we'll ace it in no time. :cool:

Indeed I am not. I don't have an issue with people in the cbox, I just don't like that is for a large part all they do and that they complain when noone is in talking to them when tduck is spamming notifications like mad. That's fine, a Like is for things like that, but remember is if it's SUPER AWESOMELICIOUS post a reply or give some rep instead. Exactly, rep is earned hence why I removed it from Likes. I had to like this and reply, was going to rep you but thought against it as it was closer to a Like than a +rep. :cheeky: And this is why I love you guys. :nuts:

They've made some changes to the online portion, many for the better I have to say. Shows they are watching and listening to what people want, some of it anyway. :p DYNAMIC TUNING TO GTA ONLINE In tandem with today's Title Update, we've also completed a new round of dynamic tuning on the game. This includes changes to the Bad Sport system and continued balancing of rewards for all different types Jobs. Notable adjustments are listed below: The Bad Sport penalty for destroying personal vehicles has been reduced significantly. Players will no longer receive a Bad Sport penalty when they are in a non-moving tank and other players crash a vehicle into them. The GTA$ and RP rewards for Races, Deathmatches and Parachuting are now based on the average time they take to complete. Players now receive GTA$ and RP rewards when failing a cooperative Job or being a member of the losing team during a Versus Mission, depending on how long the Job / Mission lasts. Players now receive a bonus GTA$ multiplier for Missions when played at the higher difficulty levels (Normal = 1.25, Hard = 1.5). In Team Deathmatch, all players on a team now receive the same GTA$ and RP rewards, with the winning team getting roughly 4-5x what the losing team receives. Removed some instances of debris in specific Races, including the cardboard from the 'Down the Drain' Race. Deliveries from Pegasus have been reduced from $1,000 to $200. The cost of removing a wanted level by calling Lester has now been scaled based on the amount of stars you have - at a cost of $200 per star. Restricted cars and vehicles that have been added to player garages through exploits have been removed. This includes tanks, helicopters and police vehicles. The following vehicles have been added to the southernsanandreassuperautos.com website in-game: BF Dune Buggy, Canis Bodhi, Karin Rebel, Maibatsu Sanchez 2, Vapid Sadler, Vapid Sandking SWB. To eliminate any remaining vehicle loss issues, an additional automatic cloud save will occur when purchasing a vehicle or vehicle modification.

The 1.06 update is out and so is the 'Beach Bum Pack'. Go get it!

Yeah the cbox people who come on and say it's quiet because not many have said much in their when there is new threads and posts always makes me :eyebrow:. And yeah I'll update that thread shortly, I just wanted to give this it's own thread so it's properly (hopefully) seen.

I swear some of these shots made me think GT5's photomode for a moment, and some of the even more photorealistic ones look like they could easily be from a car meet or a magazine gathering shoot. Amazing images and eye for a good pic!

I just watched that damn Bean Holiday movie recently. Mr Bean the tv programme I didn't mind but his movies are just too much, you just want to punch him several times over! :lol:

For over a month now we have been testing out removing the added reputation a 'Like' would give as we were seeing people mass Like and not take the time to comment or rep a member if they felt they deserved it. It's been funny watching the same people Like the same people, I wonder if they know that 'rep' is no longer given when you do this. A like is simply that, you like what someone has posted. Now if you want to properly show your appreciation to someone then either give them rep and/or post a comment too. And I can't believe I am saying this either, but if you want someone to reply to you, make sure you are replying to them or other people too. You may not realise it but you notice people who post in response to others more so than those who only want to be posted about. I see it personally in a number of threads where people post their own media, but completely miss out those above them and then get annoyed when noone comments on theirs. It works both ways. Obviously this isn't aimed at everyone but I have been watching for the paths people take and it's easy to see those I am talking about.

patch that is one mean setup you have there, both in character and car. After completing a Job I was returned to this little patch near the water and with the sun setting as it was I thought it was prime for a snap, so that's what I did. And after more than two weeks I was finally able to get my new toy. I know people ask if the Buzzard is worth getting, well from the Jobs I helped finish last night I would say hell yes! It makes missions such as blowing up the Cement trucks, Killing the Jurors, the 'Chumash' one with the boat, Base Invaders and even grabbing crates that much easier. The only annoying thing is having to retrieve it I guess but I definitely like it and don't find it a waste of money.

Before the latest update and fixes I had little issue connecting to sessions and such, now though I seem to get prolonged instances of being in the clouds, the loading icon sticks for a good 5secs 2-3 times when trying to join an active public session, get the "Timed out loading session" error quite often which usually results in a note about "Quitting session" yet it loads into GTA Online and gets stuck showing my character on screen in an active world but unable to move it or the camera. Joining a friend doesn't work, pressing Start shows the Single Player menu and sometimes even the GTA Online hint/tip cards get stuck showing on a successful return to the Single Player. In the end I usually need to 'Dashboard' it to get out and try again. Please tell me you guys are seeing this too? :oook:

EA have released the Launch trailer for their newest Need for Speed: Rivals game, co-developed between those fine folks at Criterion and the new Ghost Games studio, this is the game that brings the NFS series to the next-generation of game consoles, and from the trailer it looks like yet again some of that classic and much-loved 'Hot Pursuit' (original) flavour is back. The trailer is your standard cop v racer with dramatic crashes thrown in all the while being narrated by some tough-voiced actor who is seen getting ready for action. After a short time we see a Ferrari F12berlinetta getting away from the pack but at the same time drawing the attentions of a determined 'Pursuit' Lamborghini Aventador. Typical pursuit occurrences happen and there may even be a nod to previous NFS intros, I was definitely feeling aspects of the 'Hot Pursuit 2' intro during some of it for example. Altogether though it's a clever trailer and caught me out at the end, but I'm not the sharpest eraser in the shed so that's not hard. :D
