Shogun you cannot under the terms of the Beta disclose anything in regards to it including any vehicles that may be in and such. It's not a case of not wanting to know or such, it is because it is prohibited by the NDA and Terms of Service/Agreement that you will have agreed to when accepting the Beta. (should you be in it of course) If Atari or Eden see you doing what you are thinking of doing you could find yourself kicked off the Beta indefinitely. Read all the info and you will see what we are saying.

If you are in the Beta then you probably shouldn't be saying anything about it you know.

I always preferred the NFS III menu music as it was so calming and future showroomy. However now I've just checked it out again NFS II's could be joint top. :D

Of course people know NFS is arcade but they also know that NFS was never about all out arcade handling, in the original Hot Pursuit if you tried to take some of those turns at the speed they were doing in that video you would be in a fence, wall or smacking into a building and upside down. Not to mention the games were so much better before the nitrous boosts and such.

The NFS list was leaked was it not? I saw it posted somewhere. And of course Ferrari has a great chance of being in TDU2 but what people don't realise is they do tend to stipulate a fair few things hence why in other games you don't find them and it's not due to exclusivity or not being able to afford them either. Ferrari are perfect for this game though just like the first one however like I said they have had quite a history when it comes to what they will allow.

People still forget that circuit based racers have a lot more give in certain areas. Example being have we heard anything about Ferrari being in the Criterion NFS?

They may use some cars from TDU but for the most part it looks like they are showing the upto date versions and this is what will be in the game. Think of the TT's for example. Plus remember it's hard to keep Ferrari and more than likely some others happy when you involve an open world with damage, AI traffic, rollovers and police. Hopefully Ferrari realise that the only way a game will give you bad publicity is if the car randomly catches fire like it does in real life and just a few dents and body parts coming off is not an issue in regards to your identity. "OMG that virtual Ferrari's back bumper came off after a hard crash into the back of me, I'm not buying a real one if that happens in the game" Reality can be stranger than fiction as they say!

Well today's the day! TDU in Europe and PAL regions is 4 now.

Haha some mental ideas going in here, the spotter and lookout is a nice touch though. I feel though that some people are expecting a level of offroad that's not intended in this game, lift kits and such might be great for all out offroading and a game dedicated to it but this is just a game, an arcade-sim type game where fun and such is the main direction it's aiming for. The concept art showed some good stuff but more like the Land Rover Challenge type stuff rather than the purpose built somewhat over the top craziness that the americans are famous for.
