It's not a ripoff in it's cost sure but it's the principle of it. When you look at what you are actually paying for it's a joke. Dedicated servers sure but a p2p network with additional features that are free elsewhere. It's a ripoff in that sense. Also from what I have played of PSN their servers (some dedicated) are just as good as Live! Albeit there isn't any cross-game chat and such but tbh it's not really needed and the lack of a party mode means people actually communicate in the games.

The day before GT5 comes out and free multiplayer is shown for many to see, wonder what genius figured that was a great idea. GT5 with it's (supposed) 18 MegaPixel images and HD videos with upload to youtube option. The PS3 needs to seriously maim the 360 and Microsoft so that people can literally tell M$ to stick their console up their arse if they don't let the people who have bought it use it in a way that the PS2 was doing back in 2004. They are just greedy sods basically.

In the same vein though isn't the person who is actually the Stig also somewhat heavily involved in the whole stigma? Especially in regards to his ability to control the most powerful of cars and the god given talent he seems to posses behind the wheel especially if the majority of the driving and such is by this one person. The 2 main factors behind the Stigs popularity imo is the secrecy and mystery but also the unbelievable control said person has behind the wheel of virtually any car and clearly the real life human behind this does have a claim to a large share of that fame! Also why don't the BBC pay the person behind the Stig better, it's clear they both need each other. I wonder what he gets in fact! PS: Does anyone think 14 shows a year is too little?

Do you guys think it would be good if Eden/Atari were to do something to mark the 4th year that TDU was originally released for the Xbox 360 back in September 2006? (5th US/8th Euro) Perhaps this would be the perfect opportunity to do something regarding the Beta or even just a really epic trailer with scenes from TDU interspersed with how those same scenes look in TDU2. I think this would be perfect for showing off new areas and how the game has improved and evolved since the original as well as giving notice to the community and the loyalty that is still given even today. I'd be surprised if it's not been mentioned or even considered but even if not then they still got time and it would be a fitting tribute don't you think! :D Cheers!

Well with pre-orders here the companies don't take your money until the game is ready to be dispatched.
