  1. All media is from 2007 as far as I know as this seems to be when TDU2 was in the pre-production phase hence the concept art and interface ideas.
  2. This is the Ayrton Senna version baby!
  3. You guys are kind of missing the point, Game, Play and Argos are popular but they are not the cream of the crop and the usual hit point for gamers. Play don't always manage to get it to you for release day (majority they do though), Game usually cost more than others and Argos I wouldn't even think would be considered good for gamers. Amazon are also quite poor in sticking to dates. I'm sure I'm not the only one to get an email from them saying Demand was high so my order won't be in until the following week yadda yadda yadda. Remember we're looking for those companies who excel in service, respect and after sales plus ease of contact.
  4. Every car does it, it just looks like it's always these because you hear about it when it happens but compared to the amount that does this to those sold it's a minuscule amount.
  5. Precisely as the others have said, this place costs a fair bit to run and activity is ever growing and with the monthly goal not being too good for the last few we decided to look at alternative yet beneficial to the members' means of generating revenue. Affiliating with good efficient and well respected websites was the best option. If you note the ad itself is no way shouting at you or in the way, it's got a small image of the game in question and small text for the link(s). And in true TDUC style we don't force you to view it all the time like other places, you can simply click the red X and it will go away. Also like the message says itself we want you to suggest to us good places where we can affiliate with, we're not only going after the money, far from it in fact because the place we are currently affiliated with is low paying compared to some but their service and reputation is very high and that's worth more to us than a high paying corporate machine that pays out well despite not providing the best of service. It's also not everywhere, it's only up for certain games and big releases. When Atari/DP sort themselves out I'll even see about hooking up with them in some way if possible.
  6. I wish I was getting stuff for free, it would make this so much easier but no everything thus far has been bought for giving away.
  7. I'm sorry sir you we only cover fire, not inferno.
  8. Aww, you seem to have a liking for burning Bulls, wonder why that is? Git! :cheeky:
  9. That screenshot has been branded FM3, TDU2, PGR5 you name it it's been called it.
  10. That's where they could take a leaf out of Feed Me 3, give the options to those who want them. If you want an east to drive arcade experience then you can have it, however if you want a more semi-realistic/realistic experience then you're catered for also. Options are good.
  11. Umm it's always been the plan for here so this isn't something I've just recently considered. And of course if the giveaways with Supporters take off then extra revenue should hopefully allow giveaways for all active members, keyword their active, ie; no 0 posters, no one timers, no post and runners, no been gone for months on end etc. This criteria would be set ahead of time though to make it clear. Still looking for more of your views on this guys so get 'em in! :D PS Mellors to be entered in the draw there would be a minimum amount of Support required. Like the very first example says. :)
  12. This is the feeling I'm getting from people at the moment, giving away stuff is a good idea but maybe start with something smaller and buildup with time. So what do you think would be good to giveaway, model cars, games, crazy stuff etc..?
  13. This is an idea we have been thinking of for a while and we want to get your views on it. All who have been with us from the start and even before that know that we at TDUC want to make our community unlike your typical community. We already do that with the insanity and fun and games but one thing we've always said we wanted to do is give back to you guys. At these tough economic times this is really difficult but what we would like to suggest to you guys is this. You all know and see the Support Us bar up top and you know over the last few months this has been scraping the bottom which is no bad thing and of course, we're still here so we can survive the costs but we can't give anything back which is not what we want to do. So here's our suggestion (as if you can't guess from the title): Note: This is merely a proposal right now being used to gauge reaction. *\begin Example: During July and August 2009, those who donate $10 or more will be entered into a draw to win a brand new Logitech G25. It's on it's way to us now and we've checked postage costs to most of the world, but if it came to it we could sell it and send the winner the money or buy it from a store/website in their region, whatever is easier for the lucky winner. The lucky winner would be randomly drawn at the end of the entry period and their details posted to show they are the prize winner. *\end Of course some formalities would have to be worked out but if you guys are for it then so are we. Opinions are welcome, thanks! TDU Central Staff
  14. You FAIL.
  15. Niiiiice work Hier, quality car and one many have wanted for a while, Top Gear probably escalating it even more!
  16. I'm a God, baby! There were moments though I almost lol'd but that was because of the other guy starting to laugh and even I think cover his ears, but I held it together till the very end.
  17. Rebadging Dodges as Alfas? Seriously noone is going to fall for that (not in Europe anyway, Chevys are still called Daewoos after all), Alfa's are beautiful and stylish works of art, Dodge's are ....not.
  18. Up until midnight on the 6th July 2009 Play.com are doing an amazing offer whereby you can input a voucher code and knock £100 off the price of a G25 wheel. £199.99 is the site price then with the voucher code that goes down to £99.99. That's a G25 for almost the price of a Microsoft Wheel, damn you MS for not supporting this wheel. Anyway PC and PS3 users you may be interested so check it out. Note: TDU Central is not affiliated with Play.com in anyway, we're just spreading the good news and trying to save you money for more drink. http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3437165/-/Product.html?cm_mmc=&utm_source=&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=&utm_content=&add=3437165 You enter the code at the Checkout phase after confirming your Delivery Address, look to the right for the I have a promotional or discount voucher image. Click it and enter the promo code then Apply. Discount done!
  19. This guy is delusional, he believes he is right in everything he has said and that he has done nothing wrong and he still continues this crap on. He says he doesn't want his mod here anymore that's fine, we don't want it either or him in fact so good riddance and bye bye then! Bloody loon.
  20. You still searching then?
  21. Around the 45min past the hour mark the stat logs are updated and this is quite heavy on the server especially with the stats we have. They don't usually result in 500 errors though that could be mainly to do with your own connection unless others get it at the same time.
  22. Now that is cool, alright it's murder but those idiots deserve it and they themselves have murdered for no good reason so looks like a fair trade. Tbh though I don't understand why the nations navy just doesn't go in and blow these guys to hell and back. Send a very tough and final warning to others.
  23. I skipped through it but did I miss it or did they not race the 2 against each other? If they did can someone tell me the time so I can just watch that. Thanks.
  24. The man who is as legendary at Lamborghini as the founder himself, fantastic tribute and amazing to see he managed to get a RWD Lambo, though with it to have his name it probably wouldn't have been any other way.
