  1. Why would you zoom in on the guys plate? Great driving though and was the guy at the end the owner?
  2. Well reading about you'd be forgiven for thinking this is the most awful game ever to come about, but in fact with myself having been gaming since the Atari 2600 and having played the original Alone in the Dark then games like Resident Evil 1 and 2 and Silent Hill etc, the controls, which is what most people moan about do not bother me and I am actually one of the many few (it makes sense trust me!) who really enjoy this game. The story is alright, the innovation and thought that's needed to pass some of the puzzles is quite well puzzling but well worth it once you figure it out. The use of your items to make things like bombs, molatov's and of course sticky tape everything is somewhat interesting as it really does mean players will more than likely play the game not all the same. I might write a review on this game once I'm completed it but so far the ones that say 3 and 5 and even 6 are either not into the Survival Horror genre, don't like it when the game doesn't baby you around by saying go here and do this and lastly, makes it difficult in the combar, no run and gun, you can run, but certainly not gun at the same time if you want to stay alive. Also you'll read about people going on about the real-time inventory and how it can be fatal when you're in a battle with something and you need to grab something, well to me that's frustrating but fun as sometimes you're so jumpy you pick the wrong thing and then you get killed and you're like "bugger". lol I'm leaning towards a 7.5/10 personally, and to steal a quote from a user who reviewed the game, Alone in the Dark is a "flawed masterpiece".
  3. Haha nice but outing me will stop some of the fun, you should make it something like certain members are a huge part of the TDU community and have the contacts for this sort of info to be proven. You'll raise his curiosity now and I don't want messages from him. lol Nicely done though, he might be quiet once he reads that.
  4. I'm just thinking, maybe the leaked info he was talking about and the hacked Atari was the April Fool I did? Remember with the doctored Infogrames and Atari PM's from tenebra. LMAO :D
  5. The game was boring as hell but I was glad to see Spain go through, they actually attacked!
  6. The ice-cream van siren was brilliant, honestly I would expect that to be the best of the lot in distracting a "crim" who was running away, you be laughing too much to concentrate on the road. Stig showing how to avoid a pit manoeuvre was very cool too plus if the average bobbie could drive like the Stig having the Astra wouldn't be a problem !
  7. Clarkson was saying that Ferrari's should be all about speed and passion, they shouldn't be these easy to drive, no feedback, computer controlled baby the driver kind of cars, they are Ferrari after all, yes they are at the forefront of technology6 and engineering but with all of this they seem to forget about what heritage and passion Ferrari has gathered and been known for since Enzo started it. Ironically Enzo wanted to make Ferrari racing only iirc but had to do the roadcars in order to sustain and keep the financing going for Ferrari's Racing Campaigns.
  8. "Quack Quack" Nice avatar. :)

  9. I'll remember the 1AM so don't worry about that.
  10. Yeah I never wanted to say anything but AitD really makes me very hyped for Passenger cam!!! But I don't want to get too excited as I may get shot down hard. :(
  11. Be sure to post your thoughts on it TSS, plus remember to hydrate your brain as you're going to need it for some of the puzzles.
  12. Reputation Power is garnered by a few factors such as received reputation, post count and longevity. The main factor that corresponds to your actual Reputation though is what others give you. Someone can have a very high post count but there rep or lack of might well tell you they're more a spammer, whereas a member with lesser posts but more rep can be seen as one who is valued and helpful to the community. Reputation power is nothing special, it's Reputation that will give you an idea of what a member is like. I've also just noticed I have a value set to high so I'm going to change that, though it shouldn't affect too many people it might affect the most rep'd members a little.
  13. I've changed it to show the last 25 you have received, too large a number will result in a performance and speed hit plus it might crash your browser if the table is tooooooo large. lol
  14. Sorry but it's only possible to display the most recent amount received. Maybe they'll change it in the future.
  15. There are healing sprays dotted about but they are not as plentiful as some games you might expect. Always look in the drawers and cabinets, example being there is actually 2 sprays iirc in the first part, the 2nd being at the cabinet next to the PC monitor. ;) Also keep looking on the walls for first aid cabinets, they aren't marked or highlighted in anyway and they are white so essentially blend in, just keep your eyes open. Also make sure to save yourself sometimes as some reviews comment about the unfairness of checkpoints but so far I have only found this to be true once and I don't know if it's because I save myself sometimes. Remember bandages can only be used in injuries where you can essentially see the bone. lol
  16. You should get yourself a controller. Would make it easier I think. Nah j/k good luck to you once you get it sorted mate.
  17. What episode you at S71NG? And I know what you mean that this game isn't one for the run and gun crowd as you need to actually use your brain to figure things out, the forklift scenario is a particularly good example. This is definitely a Marmite game, you honestly will love it and sigh at but excuse it's flaws or you will rate it below abysmal and put it away never to return. It's a good game for those who like their action and adventure with some thought and the scares are definitely there, S71NG wait till you see The Huge One. OMG his face creeps me right out!
  18. I've captured some videos of the later stages of this game where I am right now, it's going to be the start of sevendiab again on youtube, I'll be sure to post them here once it's done. Anyone considering this game should really give it a chance, there is a lot to be said about the controls but survival horror players shouldn't really find them too much of a complaint. It's a good game and is imo a 7.5/10.
  19. When has a trance addict ever been emo? As for my title, things aren't going too well outside happy smilie me.

  20. Hmmm ??? :oook:
  21. Depends really, if a company pays enough there ad will show up in some strange places. Anyone had meet single arabs yet? I'll report the ad though, thanks!
  22. I got a phonecall from a mate about this game and he says it really is a love/hate game, it has so many good points but also the bad points but the story and some of the action sequences are amazingly well done. He said it's like TDU as in it has it's problems, but you look past them and see a good game still. Unfortunately a lot of criticism is going against the controls though read some comments after these and you see that a good number of people are saying that if you know you're way round a controller without looking then you shouldn't really have a problem anyway. Check the eurogamer review, it's very thorough and you can tell the guy was enjoying the game but the control scheme for him was letting him down but then the same is said about Resident Evil and 5 will be the same, why can't you walk backwards and shoot at the same time, well because running away and having to find space to shoot makes for more tension and gives the zombies a chance to catch you. As said it seems to be a love/hate game so verdicts will be split that's for sure. :) Couple of videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7VQdq9SftA HQ version Great video showing 10mins of action (may contain some small spoilers to the action) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpBzF6dxEeM HQ version
  23. From what I have read about on the internet and seen from youtube it looks like it's a Marmite game. You'll either love it or hate it, I see a few complaints about the control scheme (Xbox 360) but this seems to be from people saying that the game should be easier to take out a load of enemies when in fact AitD isn't meant to be like that, it's not the gore or nothing that scares you, it's the music, the atmosphere and the sounds. One thing I'm really liking is the driving sections and not for the gameplay as well I haven't played it yet but I like the prospects of what could be in TDU2. Obviously the road being destroyed and buildings falling and crumbling around you will probably not be in it.
  24. I'm watching House mainly now anyway but I'll switch back and forth when I can.
  25. They don't listen, check the ITV forums, so many non-English people voicing their opinions and even a good amount of english people also but do they take notice? Nope. It's going to take something big and something that will get noticed to make them actually take notice. Maybe attack the commentators who keep spouting the nonsense maybe?
