I'm watching it now and the first thing I've noticed is music is in stereo but the engine sounds are only in the left channel? Actually music is stronger in the right channel and weak like the engine sounds in the left. Also remember to give proper credit where it's due, TDUc never created those sounds, we only help in getting them noticed and distributing them.

This is a classic imo: A lawyer just getting his new Jaguar drives to work. Thinking how impressed his colleagues will be he parks right infront of the window. As he is getting out a truck comes back way to closely and takes off the Jaguar's door. The lawyer who is hysterical calls 911. Within minutes the cop is there, and without letting the cop get one word in, he begins ranting and raving about his car, and how it will never be the same even after they fix it up. The reason for that was because everyone was split on that one so it wasn't something that everyone or a majority wanted. The casual gamers like being able to get the good cars in an easy manner whereas the same amount would like it that if you are seen in an Enzo, MC12, CCR etc it means you are progressing through the game well and have done some of the bigger challenges. I'm sure this will be picked up on or mentioned in the official forums as I have seen people talking about it.

Haha trying to buy them before GTA4 is out yet again! EA are the scum of the industry, they are nothing but crap rehashing non-creatives. Take2 told them to come back after GTA4 had been released and I really do hope that they don't sell out or if they do that the team at Rockstar North jump ship and set up their own development studio leaving EA to create a new GTA from scratch and we all know noone does the humour like the Scots at small Leith based Rockstar North. :D

Hey Iced I just thought of something that would be cool and funny at the same time. Edit the Traffic sound to include a whiny engine sound plus loud music with the bass pounding, imagine waiting at a Stop sign and hearing 'boom boom boom'. That would be quality, also maybe change the Police siren to sound more effective if it can be done.

A while ago, near the anniversary of TDU X360, a thread popped up on the Atari forums saying something along the lines of Planning stages and what we would like to see in the next title. Also not to mention the domains testdriveunlimited2/tdu2.com have been registered for a while along with the job postings and of course the biggest thing, $5m bought the TEST DRIVE licence meaning at least 2 iterations of the TEST DRIVE name being used. I have a feeling it could be for the end of this year or at the latest 2009 but rest assured it is coming. ;)

Ah well at least nobody spoke about the garden variety type that usually creep into a conversation about the cars from Stuttgart (Porches). :D

Yes there will be, no we don't know, how, when, where and why. Whether it will be out this or next year is another unknown. Once Alone in the Dark has gone Gold or after it's released, then we will start to hear more about TDU2 hopefully. Could even be an announcement at E3 as this is when TDU was first heard about iirc.
