That's why it's good for them, reason being if they start off too easy they'll stick with that method rather than adapt, whereas if it takes a bit of time to learn the medium difficulty car then the really tailhappy wonders like the Zonda, McLaren F1 GTR etc are not that hard to get a grasp of. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment. lol

A good starting car to drift in is the F430 Spyder, it's difficult to get right but when you do any other car is easy to keep longer duration drifts going. The F430 takes good control and throttle response in order to drift, some others just require a floor of the accelerator and tapping the handbrake which I never use as I prefer to feint or Scandinavian flick as it's also known.

The only way to obtain any of these codes is from Atari themselves and yes there were car giveaways on the UK forums and yes they haven't been done for a while as a lot of time and resources have been put elsewhere but, they may be coming back. Don't ask me when, don't me ask if there's a set date as I don't know, all I know is there are still codes to give away and that's all I'm saying.

There is and apparently 2008 is the release, no date though.

Weird as I have had no emails to show this is happening plus no 404 (Page cannot be found) errors that aren't the usual. Is this happening on the main page or a particular one? Is anyone else having any problems? I'll put a script to monitor the forum's uptime and log it so I can view it later.

Nothing showing in the logs mate. Servers been up a good 35 days continuously from the server stats.

That's correct Nodz, Le Mans 24Hr did have a hell of a lot of cars plus day night changes, that was a good game. And nipper LFS doesn't render models of this quality, if you saw the original Vision GT trailers which was the GT4 engine being run on a PS3 in HD then you would have seen 26 cars running about. If anyone can pull this sort of task off it's the guys at Polyphony Digital, it's just whether the game will be any good and actually have decent contact physics and low speed physics that will matter to most, oh yeah and the sound also needs to really improve a great deal.

Pretty decent first video, good speed and driving, well you did cut when you were going to crash a few times after all. You need more video footage though and varied like incar, bumper, behind etc, but a decent first video.

Hey boyzroks, to get online on the PS2 you first need to make sure your console can connect to the Internet. If you have the slimstyle PS2 then all you need is the cable to connect it to your modem/router. If you have the original version then you will need to purchase a Network Adaptor. This device attaches to the back of your PS2 and then again all you do is use a cable and plug it into your internet connection. Then just pop up your PSN CD and follow the instructions and that's you sorted. Welcome to the boards and thanks for joining!

Correct, in fact the 599 GTB was originally in that leaked DLC list.

The Ferrari Licence doesn't limit you to any amount of models that is why it costs so much, you can't say right we want to buy the rights to licence the F599, F430 and F40 for our game as basically it's the full licence or nothing. Then it's upto the developer to create the models, sounds and physics for that model if they like.

At this moment in time I would say bad idea and personally would recommend the Xbox 360 instead. You see the PS3 isn't going to shine until next year with titles like GT5, Metal Gear Solid 5, Killzone 2, Lair, Final Fantasy XIII (redux) as well as many more. Good luck with it if you do go for it but I am personally waiting till next year before I consider one.
