What is going on with Fabien and TDU2.fr? I know he was working on it back in October to bring it back and was also in contact with David Nadal and that in fact some communications and feedback was sought via them. However these last couple of months things have went awfully quiet over there which is a shame.

(note the credit in the first posting anyway) The only items not shown here is the full screens of the game and map icons (these could be from TDU btw marked as TDU2 on the site) plus the Wolf Red Paint shop that I didn't show as I thought it could have hinted at a level of custom painting (design?) in the next game; though it could simply be yet again something from TDU that was dropped again marked as TDU2. lol In fact here is the site where the images are from so you can see it for yourself :D http://sofidp.free.fr/

I think enthusia (great game!) has been the only game to actually model automatic cars realistically out the box.

Guys don't forget these days games are being announced months to a year before they are released, the days of announcing a game and then having the release 18 months to 2 years away are actually starting to decrease ...apart from GT5 of course but then that's a given. :lol:

Sorry to SAYMONes-qwerty and react for removing this mod from view. We made a knee jerk reaction to some reports and never fully checked out the circumstances of the download ourselves. Thanks for posting your mods for the community to share. :) Note: Some of the cars shown at their site are not available for download as they are club exclusive. I like the idea of being the cop and getting chased by cops, not so sure about the whole Academy thing but good thinking either way.

I'm sure you've heard of Top Gear, well they made this car famous with their news slots about "Great News!" *something about the Sandero* "GREAT!", rinse and repeat. Everyone knows the Dacia isn't a great car but it's got charm because of Top Gear, if you know what I mean? And Test Drive has always been about exotics, not only everyday average cars so you couldn't go that direction however adding more normal (sportscars) or expanding on TDU's inventory wouldn't be a bad thing. :D

Hey surf welcome to TDUC, unfortunately there is no official info regarding a release date for TDU 2. We just have to keep doing what we have been doing all this time; Wait.

Ankonian, now that's a Lambo name just waiting to be used for a special edition. The main thing I don't like about this though is the exposed wheels, cover the rear wheels up with something and I think this car would make a quality batmobile! Speaking of Lambo we should be seeing the new one in a few months, I can't wait to see what they have come up with next.

The S7 has a bad rep in TDU due to the unrealistic nature of the car in the game and also because 99% of S7 drivers will ram, crash or constantly hound you to race them. Not to mention they also usually can be found running back and forth down the strip in Honolulu. Yes there is that 1% who do drive the car in races and who are very good with it but all in all if you are in an S7 you will be first looked upon as being another "S7 driver" and be expected to crash into; a) another player b) a traffic car c) a barrier or into the sea or d) all of the above. It's as plain and simple as that. Don't cry about it, if you are in the 1% then congrats but you're not going to change what regular TDU'ers think about the car as most TDU players don't race. :D TDU to most is a social drive at your own pace with your mates (rhyme!) with the option of racing... or vice versa if you are more into the racing aspect. That's why the game is adored so much.

I don't like driving a lot of the cars due to the dreadful engine sounds. Sad to say but it's true, it's 1 area they have to focus on for the next game.

I thought someone had done a mod for it, one of the Russian modders iirc.

Yeah exactly, it's good to get things extra as you're paying for it but they shouldn't take away from the actual game in order to get them.

Forza 3 doesn't have an exclusive area for only VIP's. Even the extra cars are already on the disc and taunt regular edition buyers by showing them in the showrooms and even the AI use them. I liked the TDU way whereby a Launch pack with all the cars plus 1 or 2 free was needed but you could only access the others by having the code(s). I always feel that the EA way of keeping stuff on the disc from people unless they pay for it is quite frankly stupid. Limited Editions shouldn't Limit the game imo.
