    Many of us here have done our fair share of miles/km in TDU, so do you think (again thinking out loud) that it would be a great idea (like I do) to reward those players who hit these high markers with some kind of exclusive item be it a vehicle or home. I know for sure that I would be ecstatic to get an Atari/Eden Games branded Ice-Cream van for hitting 100,000 miles/161,000km. (yes I know, I'm obsessed with the Ice-cream van) What about you and what would you suggest? You can be serious or crazy the choc-ice is yours! :eek:

    I'm sure many of you would more than likely go for a Limited/Collectors Edition of TDU 2/TD Next if one was available but what would you like to see included within it? Think of some of the not so obvious but obviously not too crazy either (I know that will be hard for some of you). :cheeky:

    Played TDU for the first time in about 3 weeks and just taking it easy it made me notice the little details not in the game and I thought about posting a new thread then I did a search and found this one so...... * Dirt build up * Exhaust fumes * Heat haze * Heat from engine (a TDU dev actually mentioned this was in TDU during it's development) * Tunnel lights showing in the cockpit (notice they only show in the outer shell) * (Close to) Forza 3 style reflections of the others cars/game world (the tech must be around now)

    Just had a quick thought, you know the kind that just pops in your head and you wonder to yourself how the hell you even considered it in the first place! Well anyway due to it's notoriety via Top Gear do you think Eden/Atari should chase after Dacia and throw the Sandero into Test Drive Next? I think there is even a mod for it at the moment, plus think of the possible PR the game would get if James May could drive his dream car whenever he wanted! Haha. Your onions please! :thumbsup: Just look at the sexy beast!!

    Wow hell of a lot of entries this ermm week! Speed this can't run till the 27th mate as the winner (1st winner?) will be the Christmas banner and will have to end this Sunday/Monday in order to have it's week spotlight and be edited for it's Christmas showcase. If you know what I mean? :)

    Hey there, if you are one of the many who have registered in the last 24 hours and have not received your activation email please post in here and we will manually activate your account. Gremlins have crawled into the activation script it appears but we are hunting them down and hope to have the issue sorted asap.     Like I said mate don't worry about it, more than 1 thing would have caused that. More than likely you ran the IP script just as another server intensive task was running or starting thus rocketing the CPU to that high.

    It could have been the process got stuck or the site the script was contacting wasn't responding etc so yeah it was probably your fault. Sorry. :cheeky: It happens but not that often so don't worry about it. If it seems to happen again make sure to stop the script and try and reload another page like the homepage or ModCP homepage etc to try and kill the process.

    He hasn't confirmed his activation email that he should have received upon registering. I have now activated his account so he shouldn't have any issues getting on now. :D

    Wow, the sunset in particular is amazing. The 2 cars watching the sunset is a bit cheesy imo, not for what the mod does but it's like something you would see in Cars 2. lol It would be great if we could get the creator/author on to thank him.
