  1. I've noticed the load has been close to 100% - 150% for a good few hours now but I can't see what could be causing it.

    Snow!

I've removed the snow for everyone now, a bit earlier than usual but hey them's the stakes!
  3. Doing that for every car would add a lot more to the already DNF development time. What do you mean by sound options though?
  4. Umm you what? lol

  5. I'll create the sub-forum tomorrow for this and we'll see how it goes. :)
  6. If the engine sounds are as awful as TDU though that's not really an option. :(
  7. Thank you very much Jesus for the breakdown of the main parts and of course for the clear translations. Regarding the Xbox 360 and PC only development, I believe this was to be the case when TDU 2 was originally intended and wanted to be released in 2007, however a disagreement between the parent company and Atari Inc meant this was put on hold. There is a report that shows that Atari Inc's plans included TDU 2 for the same platforms as TDU (PC, X360, PSP & PS2) and then in 2009 TDU 3 would be for PC, PS3 and X360. Remember this is a report from 2007 so a lot could have changed, we don't and won't know until Eden or Atari decide to announce it officially for themselves. Even so it's still well worth a read!
  8. Umm ok. lol Anyway off to the parents for Chrimbo dinner so catch you later on the night!

  9. Sorry buddy was busy last night.

  10. Alright folks?! Well you probably have heard or read me mentioning a report I found that detailed a lot about the pre-production of TDU 2 by an intern Graphics Artist, who spent 3 months at Eden Games under the watchful eye of Benoît Boucher (now at Ivory Tower) and working within a team including the ever talented Pascal Casolari, whose work you have seen in the many concept images that we have here. The report does say a good bit and says a lot about the goings on with Alone in the Dark development and a small mention on the whole Atari Inc vs Infogrames disagreement at the end. Unfortunately images that used to be in the original report have been removed (not by me!) as you will see references made to images that should be within in the report itself. Dang it! :( The report is in French so for the best view it's good to know someone who can translate accurately, though Google et al do a decent job enough. :D It could be a load of nothing or it could be a small bit of something, who knows, and don't expect it to give you the full rundown on the next Test Drive either. Right-click > Save as... Download Intern Report (2007) See this as a small Christmas present from us to the TDU community, whether it's good or not is upto you! :cheeky:
  11. Guys take it easy, language issues and sleep deprivation = mix ups. No need to get hostile though shark your response was a bit more than what was needed originally. Now all of you say sorry and salivate at minime's bikes and smile broadly. :D Thank you.
  12. Brands Hatch doesn't have that problem though. :D Plus BTCC viewing and attendance figures keep growing because the racing is just that good, seriously review this year at Rockingham and Brands Hatch ...oh yeah Knockhill ....and Thruxton ....Oulton Park too ...well you get the idea.
  13. Technically yes and no, the majority love Top Gear and endured 5th Gear, however people are starting to see the positives of 5G and somewhat want them in TG. TG is about the cars, they seem to be forgetting that. 5G was about cars but did it such a boring way that what should have been exciting and fun to watch just wasn't.
  14. The way I see it with this is it would have to be somewhat controlled. What I mean by this is that the threads wouldn't instantly appear as we wouldn't crazy 9000bhp flying squirrel weight cars being posted here but mainly realistic replicas of their real world counterparts. The threads would be moderated and require approval before they became viewable to the public. Maybe trial it and see how it goes though. How does that sound?
  15. The paper thing is mainly to just show that the car you are showing is yours, this is the internet and thus it's too easy to grab pics from somewhere and say it's yours. Of course you don't need to do it but then don't be surprised to find people not believing you, however this is no reason to belittle the guy so you Maxcoder flamers quit it already, it's old and it's past being funny anymore.
  16. Top Gear has become somewhat stale, like I said it's whole arsing about in cars is starting to fly out the window as if you think about it they don't really do any arsing about in cars anymore! Think of the classic showdowns with the GT3RS vs the 360CS, think of the epic cross continental challenges and such. Lately TG has become more about the comedy side rather than cars and comedy. I don't mind the whole normal reviews as long as they throw in something to spice it up and make it less boring. Example of making something less than it is was the whole flying caravan and the LP550, listening to that review was annoying as you weren't really hearing about the car as such, sure he commented it's handling prowess due to the whole RWD layout of the car and the comedic going back and forth between sites was good the first 2 or 3 times but they can certainly drag it on a bit. Basically more fun with cars not fun with bits of cars or looking at cars but actually using cars is what Top Gear should be about and lately it's deviated from that imo. One of the best Top Gear moments I remember is from classic TG where Vicki Butler Henderson and Tiff Needell did a showdown with the Evo VI and a P1 Impreza round the rally circuit of Silverstone. In fact let me see if I can find a video of that one and show you. 3:19 beyond is the bit I'm talking about I'm pretty sure this was TG and not FG?
  17. Well there are reasons why we say Test Drive Next rather than Test Drive Unlimited 2. And the info for anything is out there if you know where to look. In games it's usually Copyright & Trademark offices Ratings Board's Ex/Employee Portfolios & CV's Financial Reports Remember though, that info from 2007 may be scrapped now and they could be going some other direction for the next Test Drive. It's all about what info you can trust though, that's the main thing as it's very easy for someone to claim to know and then have it spread like wildfire.
  18. Slade is the Ultimate Christmas song, that should be #1 every year!! lol
  19. It's great and even the song isn't even that great I'm just glad Simon Cowell has been beaten. I couldn't care less about Joe, the guy sounds like a girl and also come on singing a Miley Cyrus song, Jesus if that doesn't show who Xfactor's target audience is I don't know what will. The fact RatM generated some good contributions to Shelter and shows that people want something better than manufactured crap is brilliant and I truly hope this is the start of the downfall of these moronic reality karaoke shows. It would have been better to have had a Christmas #1; ie a novelty song but anything is better than the crap that comes out every year from talentless no musical creativity puppets of Syco any day of the week!! The Climb is the biggest pile of #2 ever so it's chart position is in some way poetic. :D
  20. Couldn't you put a HQ M3 interior in this or something?
  21. Yeah more than likely $9.99/$9.95 just wanted to be sure so I wasn't getting shouted at for $0.04. lol
