I do do that but I wouldn't do that with the forum. Too much risk with that. I scaled back his post count because he said he was determined to reach 3000. So in true me fashion, I helped him in making it a challenge. Don't worry though I'm just messing (not banner) and know what your proper post count is.

To interject this thing, tdu/2.fr are a really good French and all round TDU community. They actually have the benefit of being able to have some yet very limited contact with David Nadal himself. In fact it was there that Nadal asked for feedback about the controls and handling of TDU especially in the bikes. He also confirmed that the TDU2 media we showed was not fake but was however very early concept works and tests so to speak (loosely quoted).In fact he put across a nice example of how to think of how these will relate to the final game; Think of a car sketch by a designer, now remember how the final model will turn out compared to that sketch. (ie; What you originally see won't necessarily be what you get). If you're French or know the language then tdu/2.fr is one valuable resource indeed!

Ideal situation, it's away for about 2 weeks meaning I get on with learning and work and when it comes back Race Pro gets updated/patched! Woohoo!!

I got rid of MCLA about a month (hadn't played it since December anyway) ago so not bothered about that to be honest.

Can't believe how time goes when you return to something similar. Alas though me box has again hit the RRoD and like last time and I guess some credit is due to them for it MS will again pay for the collection, postage and of course repair of the system. Take it easy and learn from it. We had to ask about 4 or 5 other people to resize their images to the 350Kb mark and most of them did so. It's been going on for ages, just because it isn't written in the PoTW rules doesn't mean that it doesn't still apply in the contest itself as after all it's the forum rules the prevail over everything else anyway. Though lesson learned we will start putting every minute detail into the first post to stop this happening in the future even though we do count on common sense to prevail but sometimes that just doesn't work and you need to be clear with every point. So starting with PoTW #38 the 350Kb forum wide rule will be added to the list of rules for PoTW also to avoid any confusion. A good example is someone got DQ'd for having swearing in their licence plate, there's nothing in the PoTW saying about profanity being disallowed, but their entry was removed because it is against the forum rules. In fact speed, just link to the rules themself when posting ie; All entries must adhere to the Forum Rules; 800w x 640h and a filesize no more than 350Kb (0.35Mb) in filesize
