Sound mods, car wheel mods, car colour mods (orange enzo with black rims, clk-dtm black with black wheels with a silver rim). Looking at the images above looks like some are working on the ability to convert the actual car models themselves. TDU's future will be prolonged with this and could even bring more people to the game after they see what may be possible. Remember Atari Germany's stance is whereas they don't mind you posting mods and such, they warn that they will not be responsible for anything that may happen to your game or profile using them and though they don't say 'yes we approve', they don't exactly mind it being there but they aren't looking at it while it's going on, keeping a distance so to speak. In other words, Atari Germany may be willing to discuss it on their forums, but other regions don't.

Question for you guys, looking around and checking out some vids on youtube the modding scene is picking up speed very quickly. So would you like a sub-forum at the top for TDU Modding or would you like TDU Modding to be it's own forum under the TDU PC forum on the front page?

Right I don't have the images just now, they're on a digi cam but unfortunately I've lost the card reader but will find it tomorrow as I can't really be bothered right now but what happened was I was putting the latest Diablo GT into the house with the rest of them and I was swapping it with a Countach when all of a sudden the stats and name etc were the same as was the colour of Bright Apple Green but the car was not the GT, it was in fact the Countach I wanted to swap it with. :oook: Have to say the car looked good but I was wondering had I lost my GT but luckily moving through the cars then back reloaded them again and the correct model showed itself. I never checked to see if the Countach did though? Hmm.... Anyway I'll post the pics tomorrow and also the Countach had no interior seating, it was plain black like the default car, looked cool but had me worried for half a split second as I thought my GT had hit the abyss. Anyone else had this before? :twisted: PS If it had been any other car I probably would have tried selecting and driving it to see if it remained that way. Hmm if it looks like a Countach, sounds like a Countach, but says it's a Diablo GT who are we to disagree ! I like deep black leather more than the next person but this is like shadow black. Ah much better.

Yep that's it, I don't think it's actually helped though. lol I think the main config does have 4 as it's minimum. I'll email my host and find out, not a big deal but annoying considering 'tdu' is probably a key search term. Ah well, c'est la vienna.

After being notified that searching for 'tdu' shows no results and with us now changing this to work (hopefully). We are going to shutdown the board for 5mins to reindex the forum so that new searches for 3 word finds do work correctly. Will be doing this in 5mins from now just to make sure that people who are currently here know what's happening. :D It could be done with the forum live but we don't want to take any chances. :oook: Thanks for your patience, understanding and of course sanity.

Depends on what the host has set in the main database file, I could say 3 is the smallest and that file might say 5 and I would be overruled everytime. Looks like it is 4 in the main config which is typical as setting a low number means server load and cpu time increases hell of a lot. Tip for you guys, use the wildcard character '*' to add to the count, ie 'tdu*'. Lemme check something. Yeah I need to rebuild the search...

Ah nuts I always miss something when doing that (surprised it's taken 12 weeks to catch me), you have no idea how many things need to be changed in order to do that. Good eye though. That's what I get for being standards compliant. That text is actually for screen readers. ;)

Are you talking about the TDU Central section part being missing?

Each word has to be more than 4 letters, tdu isn't valid, I'll change this actually as tdu is a popular search term on an uhh ....tdu forum. lol

This game is what I call a marmite game, some will love it and others will hate it, myself being different to the norm neither love nor hate it, it's alright but it's not brilliant, it's good fun and the sounds and action is frantic and the fact you are online with upto 31 other people makes for quite the frantic battle. However my main complaint is that it seems to play like Halo in that it's all run and gun and throwing explosives, not many people actually kill by shooting and headshots don't seem to registered. Note though that this does not make it a bad game as it is a lot of fun and once you learn how to get a squad and control it and communicate between it then it becomes quite a tactical team based shooter with real people. Playing the MP demo I would say it's pretty much a Battlefield clone but it's definitely one of the better ones that's for sure. I would rate the Streets map with no air as my favourite though, no tanks or helos, it's all about your team and CQB.
