Try it, they may be euro codes also. I'm not entirely sure how MS codes work tbh.

Advertising TDU-C on Atari forums...
Eudemon replied to Iced_Bullet's topic in Driving & Racing Games
This is fine as you mention about the cruises and also some of the other fun like the Mafia and as these happen often I don't personally see a problem with your thread in there. The other staff might see it differently though so don't be surprised if it goes. Sorry. -
Advertising TDU-C on Atari forums...
Eudemon replied to Iced_Bullet's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Alrighty then, this is a strange one for myself as I am a mod at those boards and that section is for Cruises that are happening or are going to happen rather than the advertising of the club itself. I guess if you added the fact that there is the Monday Night Cruise as well as the fact that a bunch of people from the forum are usually online in TDU anyway and always up for a cruise then that would be acceptable. I appreciate you spreading the word of TDUc, just got to watch how it's done is all. After all I can't be seen trying to bend the rules for my own gain if you know what I mean. Could you edit your post and mention those items above? Thanks! -
That's nothing my caps are 0.5Gb a minute thus 5 minutes is 2.5Gb. Though I don't have a game and video encoder using my memory, hdd and graphics card while doing so. If you record without capturing sound is it any better ?
-
Hmm not used FRAPS myself but what kind of compression if any does it use? Also try recording a minute long video and see how big the file is this will give you a god idea of how the video is being recorded. Only thing I can think that would cause this is memory or hard drive space becoming an issue. This is the right place for your thread so the other one has been removed.

Passenger cam has been wanted since TDU first arrived and people played it, especially in saloons/sedans.

Concorso Italiano @ Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course
Eudemon replied to Mb's topic in Automotive Discussion
No this is fine, you are only linking to a couple of articles that can be viewed freely ie no need to register first and it is not your own site either. -
It is a lot of fun but I'm not sure if it's worth a buy though, don't get me wrong it's a fun game and it will appeal to those who like Time Crisis, Max Payne and even a bit Hitman and the fact that you can essentially destroy everything is very cool indeed but it's just not my kind of game, I guess I'm growing up. lol The direction and Tequila-time is very sweet though.
-
We do not need neon, that will kill a game. Maybe allow the option of coloured Xeon headlights but I wouldn't want to see TDU become NFS of now.
-
Yeah please guys, keep it at 2. If you have more then you obviously must have 2 that are really important to you so pick them. :)

Seeing as more discussion is going on about the game and it's inevitable successor I figured it would be a good idea to take some ideas from people, gather them up and then make a poll and maybe even see if we can get it sent to Atari to show what the community wants in the next iteration of TDU. And so as to not end up with a wishlist that goes on for pages and pages we are limiting you to 2 items so make sure they are the ones you would personally like to see the most. Also we know that weather, day and night cycles as well as customisation are always requested so those will be the first 3 straight off so please don't list them unless you are specifying something like a livery editor or the like. Get thinking! Deadline for your ideas is 31st January 2008. Ideas so far MUST HAVES * Improved support on current formats and more communication to the community * Dynamic Weather with a Day and Night cycle * Realistic engine and exhaust sounds * Customisation in the form of bodykits, rims and livery editing * Slightly more indepth tuning * Smoother and less bumpy/choppy roads * Numberplate generator * Environment affects your car * Some form of damage; cosmetic at minimum * Improved physics for the cars * Improved physics, control and animations of the bikers * More working car features such as indicators, wipers and roofs * Improved photomode with less compression and actual ability to upload Environment * Dynamic Weather System; Rain, Storm, Ice and Wind effects * Night and Day cycle * Polish the graphics and colour palette to be more photorealistic (mixed views on this) * Environment affects your car, ie long drive results in dirty bodywork and windows, offroad equals mud * Working car washes to clean your car, car stays dirty until washed * Working gas/fuel stations, you have the option of using them though maybe some challenges could require them * Larger island or environment with more roads * More stop off locales ie; multi-storey and underground car parks, lay-bys and such like * Random number/licence plate's on NPC cars * Broader range of NPC cars, buses, city cars, taxi's, jeeps, trucks and the occasional ice-cream van * Drag strip plus more race tracks * Being able to park yourself then entering your house via a button press rather than a cutscene Car and Bike Improvements * Realistic engine and exhaust sounds, no synthetic replicas! * Wheel (not steering) animations should be more realistic, right now they stay the same speed no matter how high a speed you're doing * Full 360 degree rotation of the vehicle ala PGR and Forza * Less glare with the lights, make more real world not like twinkling stars * Convertibles are able to open and close roofs when stationary * Indicators and Hazard lights, fun when cruising and sorely missed from first TDU * More animations for drivers and riders, ie handbrake, pushing the horn, flicking the indicator stalks, looking behind when reversing. As for riders pushing the brake and no reverse gear, have it ala PGR4 and MotoGP where the rider walks the bike backwards. Stunts ala PGR4 would be very welcome also as would the rider and bike movement which allows burnouts, sliding and donuts * Distant sounds of cars getting louder or quieter as their distance changes to you, if a Ferrari or a bike is behind you a bit you will still hear it, same with anything in front of you also Customisation/Customization * Customisation of your vehicle with rims, spoilers (active working), bodykits (active aero, non-NFS rubbish) which preferably would be actual real life makers like OZ, Yokohama, Brembo etc... * Livery Editor allowing at minimum the ability to make custom shapes and your own number/licence plates * Number/Licence plate creator if above not available Tuning * Ability to tune your car in the same way that Gran Turismo and Forza allow you to * Ability to save setups, for example a racetrack, a fun drift course or just aiming for a top speed run Physics * More realistic driving physics, maybe a pro mode or something * Greater level of travel in accelerating and braking pressure, locking brakes would be nice on older cars and ones without ABS too Selection of Vehicles * Off roaders for all the off road terrain and general driving fun they would bring * Luxury marques such as Bentley, Rolls Royce, Maybach etc * More classics such as older Ferrari's, Mini's, MG's etc * More everyday cars such as rep mobiles (Laguna, 407, Mondeo, Passat etc) and hot hatches ie; Focus ST, Alfa 147, Clio, Fiesta, 207 etc... Single Player Story and General Game Improvements * GPS more user friendly, ie North Marker * Hardcore mode integrated in the game rather than a separate option with it's own races and challenges * Being able to take your car to the dealer or a garage for servicing and repairs if wanted * Ability to walk around interiors such as dealers, shops and your garage with the option of photomode Multiplayer Modes and Improvements * More players in a session like 10, 12 or even 16 * Improved netcode, no more pulling in front of another player and finding that you take them out, also traffic sync needs improving also * Ability to set waypoints for all/locked in session and stay in a session regardless of leaving map * A sort of party system meaning you never lose those players in the party until you leave that party, not when you goto the map, enter a shop etc... * Passenger-cam; allows friends and other players at your acceptance to jump in and take ride with you in your car, 2 in front and 2 in back if vehicle permits (I don't think this has ever been done before!) * Cops and Robbers * TDU TV? Being able to watch races happening from your TV in your home, would be good for watching replays also

I usually like to listen to: Rascal Flatts - Life is a Highway https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no0hzFx9sfY or Alabama 3 - Woke up this Morning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgoyXJiZqLk

That's my point though, delivery missions still equate to a ton of money and tbh you need to be patient and drive well to get the full wack. It's just that even as an expert you could do a speed race which gave you $15,000 each time resulting in about $1,000,000 every 20mins iirc.

A topic has arisen in the PC section and a few of us have discussed this on and off while driving on the 360 and there's always a yes and no reaction to this so we wanted to see what the community as a whole thinks. What am I talking about? Well prize money and how easy it is to acquire, maybe as suggested lop a 0 off those prize amounts or as I suggested make certain races available on certain days and each race takes a day meaning you can't rerun the same race over and over again. If we have active weather and day and night sequences (hopefully!) then this wouldn't be too hard to replicate. And I'm not saying a day should take a full 24 hours, maybe 6 or 4 but I personally would like to feel a sense of achievement when I buy an F1 or an Enzo etc... Maybe it's just me and some others, so lets see what the verdict is. Feel free to post your views and ideas on this also.
-
I was talking about this while driving on the 360 version and an idea I has so that you can't rerun the same race all the time was have it like GT4 did it, ie; a race takes a day and certain races occur on certain days of the week. If we get weather plus day and night then this would be a good way of keeping exclusive cars fairly exclusive. The lowering of prize money is a good idea also I have to say ! In fact going to make a poll about this in General.

Iced_Bullet's Thread [Update: Fordy Fordy!]
Eudemon replied to Iced_Bullet's topic in Driving & Racing Games
You can show 10 inline within your post like you have been doing per post but you can also attach 20 per post also. When you are posting a new thread look down and you will see a button named 'Manage Attachments', click this then 'Browse' to the files you wish to upload and they will be displayed as thumbnails you can click to view the fullsize image. Meaning essentially 30 pics per post. Yes that's a bit overkill maybe but hey share the wealth ! PS: All your images thus far could have been in your original post. :) -
Iced_Bullet's Thread [Update: Fordy Fordy!]
Eudemon replied to Iced_Bullet's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Iced you8 could always just attach the images to your post. You can attach a max of 20 images and they can be any size, you're only limited to 10 inline displayed pics. Nice pics btw, looking forward to seeing the enzo ! -
See you mate, have fun and enjoy yourself, don't worry about us we'll be fine and congrats on the 500th post!
-
It's about to start on ITV very shortly, should be a good race, there's only 6 points between Plato and Giovanardi in the Championship now and there's quite a bit of anger on the grid so should be an eventful race for sure !

You can paint most if not all of the concepts so a red ME-412 isn't something to doubt.

Post your Screenshots here ! *archive*

Going to close this topic now and move it and sticky it in the Photomode sub-forum as an archive. -
Hey there, well as requested here is the dedicated Photomode sub-forum for the PC section. Note that you are limited to the one thread for yourself or your club though you can have one of each if you have a club also. f. No large images in posts If you are wanting to post an inline image – ie; you wish to post an image directly into your post – then please make sure that it is no larger than 800 x 640 in width x height and is no more than 350KB (0.35MB) in filesize. If you want to upload something larger than this then use the forums' own Attachments option which you can reach when posting a reply or a new thread. You can access this via the ”Manage Attachments” option below the posting area. Click the button and a popup window will appear and then just browse to the files you want to upload (3 at a time max) and when you are done press ”Close”. You will now see the attachments listed with your post and all that needs to be done now is to submit your post or new thread and the attachments will be displayed in your post and when clicked will show at fullsize as depicted by the forums' limits. (1920 x 1080 maximum) NOTE: Attachments can be used as long as they are within the guidelines of the Attachment rules. If the image you are attaching is bigger then the forum will automatically try and resize it anyway but there is a timelimit and size limit it will allow so check the dimensions and filesizes first before attaching You can also link images to larger images if you wish. You do this by using the [*IMGLINK][*/IMGLINK] (remove the ‘*’ otherwise it won’t work) tags. Normally to include an image into your post you would use the [*IMG][*/IMG] (remove the ‘*’ otherwise it won’t work) tags, however this is for images upto and including 800 x 640, so if you have an image that’s larger you wish to show then use the IMGLINK tags like so: * Images that do not follow this will either be edited to a text link or will be removed entirely The below tutorial is still part of Section 1.1 (f) 1) Most image hosting websites create thumbnails or smaller images you can use to then link to the fullsize image itself. To do this get your SMALL image and in your post reply or new thread type [*IMGLINK]http://www.domain.com/SMALLimage.jpg[*/IMGLINK] (remove ‘*’ otherwise it won’t work) where the http://www.domain.com/SMALLimage.jpg is the link to your smaller image you will be using to link to the larger fullsize image. 2) Now get the URL/Address of the LARGE image and type: i. [*URL=http://www.domain.com/LARGEimage.jpg][*/URL] ii. Now get your IMGLINK part and put it inbetween the above like so iii. [*URL=http://www.domain.com/LARGEimage.jpg][*IMGLINK]http://www.domain.com/SMALLimage.jpg[*/IMGLINK][*/URL] (remember remove the ‘*’ or this won’t work) iv. That’s it! It looks more complicated than it is but basically all you need to do is change the IMG tags to IMGLINK or type it in yourself and job done. * NO LARGE GIFS; Film and TV clip gifs are huge, sometimes even bigger than making it a movie clip itself, link to these via a textlink or thumbnail. DO NOT INLINE POST THEM * DO NOT QUOTE IMAGES; Remove the tags or the images entirely. Each quote has a direct link (little arrow next to the member being quoted) to the original post you are quoting anyway so there's no need to do so.
