  1. Handling in NFS Shift is still a little off compared to real life, but I'm sure we can all agree that there is no such thing as a 100% realistic game when it comes to driving. Some are very very very close, but its next to impossible IMHO. Anyways back on track, the handling on NFS:S is the closest thing I've seen yet when it comes to driving games. (havent played any of those fancy GTR legends games etc etc. I've only played Gran Turismo for the PS2, and TDU) The cars will b-slap you if you screw up, and getting the entry and exit velocities is an important thing. ALSO. I'm gonna admit that I have very limited driving experience, and I honestly havent taken any corners at over 100 km/h. However, I have been in a car thats taken corners at speeds up to 180 km/h and I'm gonna have to agree with the HC crowd on this one. Its all about the balance. I've kept up to normal mode cars in Tantalus for gods sake! You can drive just as fast as a normal mode person if your paying attention to the road. Just so I can back up the car comment, heres my car that I've been working on with my dad.
  2. True! didnt see the front tires leaving marks too. Anyways, I played the demo, and I think the handling is much more involved than TDU.. like, by a long shot! I think this will be my next driving game. (Probably gonna need a new computer though but thats how it goes)
  3. but then again, who actually drives from outside the cockpit around here? (Excluding Consoles) I downloaded the demo and I rip around the tracks with very little issues on oversteer. game works great IMHO EDIT: Just thought of this, and althought I have no proof to back it up, RWD cars can step out the rear end slightly while the driver has control of the car. In my camaro (which I cannot drive before anyone asks) my dad and I were taking a left handed 70 degree turn at 140 km/h and the rear end slid out ever so slightly, not so much like a drift, but enough to feel the change in direction in the car. I think if there was a little less of the wobbling in the rear end of the car there would be very little room for argument..
  4. I like the shot galy, reminds me of another POTW entry many weeks ago ;) not saying that its the same one its just the same place and the same car

  7. Personally, I think this one is a better example of your photo skills :) http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/879/200909141833391.jpg all you need to do to the 180 one is toss some contrast at it! thats a pretty sick drift we should cruise some time
  8. Only got two, once again but one is my POTW entry, and the other is the very first picture on the first page. Thought I should redo it just to see the difference :)

  16. 441: Koenigseggs can acheive wheelspin in sixth gear....at speed...
  17. Thanks guys. I just discovered that Tool did up that LP560-4 Roadster today so I went for a cruise and met up with a fellow TDU:C member, KRAKEN. Totally random, we both had Gallardos, so we went for a cruise. Sadly only one photo turned out to my standards, but I got others with just me. Thanks Tool!
  18. Got some sweet looking pics there! http://i31.tinypic.com/vfummp.jpg liked that one in particular but as yoe said, there might be a little too much PS going on there. Best just to tune the brightness / contrast and whatnot to get a great pic. PS: 800 pixels is the max width for uploading ;) (I dont know the height, mine all come out at 800x500)
  19. Thanks iLL, Heres some more :bump: Second one is purposefully dark, nothing I could do to it to make it look like day so I made it look like twilight (or tried to at least  )
  20. HOORAY!! TDU-C IS BACK!! :) to celebrate, I have decided to post some pictures once again. Cruise with DangerRanger enjoy :)
