there is only one 5 million dollar car, the Ferrari 250GTO, and that was a mega-pack car. so which cars are you able to buy so cheaply? if your game has glitched, and you get the wholesaler discount, use it to your advantage and make some money....or uninstall and reinstall the whole game and hope it does not happen again. of course, back up your save game files

you guys need to understand that on one game disc, there is only so much room available for the games programming . every option such as customising the interior robs the game of this disc space, and possibly means they have to exclude some roads or other better features to fit in the customising option. sorry guys, but if it comes down to either tricking out the interior of your car, knowing that noone else will see it, or possibly gaining a new racetrack or some tight canyon roads.......

what would be the point of it? your gonna show off your engine to people who have the exact same car?

a person responding to a vid on YouTube has made a claim that the Italian version of the Shelby GT500 has a much faster top end, especially when drafting. what i was wondering is if we have anybody in here who is from Italy, or has played the Italian version of the game that could possibly verify this claim. it certainly makes no sense to have one countries version be better than any other countries, but weirder things have happened. so can anyone throw some light on this subject? this is their claim "the GT500 in the italian version can do this: if you draft until it reaches around 270 Km/h, it accelerates until around 320 Km/h. I guess that there is a gap in its torque curve, which is filled up after you reach 270 Km/h. So, the car can remain in that speed range after a sufficient draft. But you must be a decent driver to do it... " also....... "The american version of the game has this problem: all cars when drafting, exceed their top speed by 10%. No more, no less, this is their gear ratio's limitation. maybe have a 4th stage of tuning become available when a car hits 10,000 miles with a 10% increase in top speed or, depending on location of TDU Next, hidden freeways,canyon roads, or racetracks that become available when you hit a TOTAL milage of 20,000 or more

i started on PS2, the Viaggio Grande series is a difficult thing to pass. if you have not tried it, dont dish the sarcasm. and before anyone says you cant tune the ME 4-12, in PS2 version you can tune all reward cars. the ME 4-12 is rated at 273mph

right. but remember, before you use the 1.67D Patch, you must read and follow the tutorial. if you have the Bling Bling mod separately, you must delete it. but no worries,it is part of the Patch. and yes, with the Patch installed, you are able to repaint Ferrari's and Maserati's. but NOT if you ONLY have the Bling Bling mod

did you re-enter your mega pack key? i have had that exact message a few times, after re-entering my key, it went away hopefully you have it written down somewhere

strange. i repainted my Dino there when i was running the 1.67D mod and repainted and sold many 288 GTO's. maybe i had a glitch and did not know it

why cant you do it at the Deluxe paint shop? that seems odd, unless you have not yet unlocked it

Safiro, i will never accuse somebody of something unless their own actions in front of me justify it. i had a very similar experience to what z06dude had happen to him in a multi player challenge. using a RUF he SMOKED my stage 3 SLR. admittedly, i am not sure which model he was usng, if it was the AWD version or not, but the fastest RUF is rated at 225MPH. the SLR will hit 242+. he left me behind like i was driving a chevy SSR. what does that have to do with the drive in challenges and cheating? i personally have set up 50+ challenges with numerous car and class restrictions. many of which i drove repeatedly over a week to ensure a good qualifying time. funny how often my best times got beaten by as much as 2 1/2 minutes by Foiki. the times, and speed necessary to do this, suggest someone using one of the hacks available, but which we do not talk about in here. i do not like singling someone out like this, but he is so widely known by people ingame that this is not exactly breaking news. there are many others, but the 2 i listed are the ones i see most often

ok, try this then. hit pause and enter the "Editor" feature. from here you can lay out whatever route you want, with the option of having traffic or not. once you have something you like layed out, remember to save it so you can cruise it again and again. and if you want, you can also share it with others as a drive in challenge, but dont use your money as a reward....lots of players like Foiki and dark chaos god who use various cheats and hacks to win the challenges and steal your money

Gamespy has received PLENTY of trouble tickets referring to this problem, yet it continues. some have speculated that atari is not paying to have as many servers running TDU as in the past, and that could very likely be the cause of the problem. unfortunately, there is nothing we, the public, can do about that short of complaining to Gamespy

sorry to say, that problem has been around for a while now. it does not seem to matter where in the world you are either. best thing is just try again. not much help, but that is all we can do. the servers appear to have sporadic issues
