  1. No, he left the car centered, you just won't get a good Cockpit cam for this mod.
  2. Audi A3 Cockpit Audi RS4 Cockpit_Back Chevy SSR Hood 300-C Hood_Back Ruf RK IK
  3. There's a mod already done that's very close to this, it may not be the exact 1984 version, but it'll do for now, it's on the V8Motors site, it doesn't have those rims though but you can find a modernized version of those rims here.
  4. That can be over-ridden by the modder if they want to, it's already happened many times in mods with stripes or lettering on the car.
  5. A reasonably close version of the rims can be found here. The rims in the picture are not the ones on the mod itself, check the attached pic. The readme file that comes with that mod is in Russian, and the site the mod originally came from is long since shut down but you can try the email at the bottom of the readme, maybe he still checks it.
  6. You'll never find good cameras for most of the SUV or truck mods out there, most of them were made before they found a way to do it right.
  7. If the car is set to "H-Gate/Stick" the character will try to move the lever on the steering column. Basically it looks like he's trying to manually shift a "3 on the tree" automatic.
  8. Do you have the vehicle type set to convertible or were you driving with the windows down??? Because there's a ton of REALLY loud wind noise in that video, plus the distracting sound of the bike next to you didn't help......
  9. For those that always drive Cockpit mode, just remember one very important thing...... If you drive this car in Cockpit mode, and you think you're just going to "scrape by" a car ahead of you when you pass it, you're not going to scrape by, you're going to hit it if you try passing it on the left. The game doesn't acknowledge if the model is shifted sideways, TDU keeps the collision "hitbox" right where it always was, in the center.
  10. Without testing it before commenting, he probably shifted the whole model to the side just like he did with the RHD Skyline 2000, which is really a bad thing because it screws up the other 3 cameras, you gotta remember StarGT, not everybody likes driving in Cockpit mode 100% of the time.
  11. I've tried several car slots but the car keeps crashing my game as soon as it's selected in the garage or dealership. Zoqqer needs to find out what's causing the crashes and fix them before he releases anything else because both the new NR 599 and the F430 Coupe both crash the same way. The only way I had luck with the 430 was putting it on a car slot that did NOT have any interior color options (FordGT), as soon as I put it on the F430 Coupe slot, it locked the game up hard, or crashed to desktop completely. EDIT: Shy Guy, about that NSX, the Ayrton Senna Edition is the first one Tool did, the one with the pop-up headlights, the second one he did was a 2002 NSX Targa with the bubble headlights, and that one is in the next 10 car set because the interior cameras are way different from the original, exterior cams are the same though. EDIT 2: Added 10 more cars for a total of 240.... Acura TSX (2010) Audi Q7 TDI BMW 750iL E38 Chrysler New Yorker 1971 Dodge Challenger (Vanishing Point) Honda NSX Targa (2002) Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1992 (Tool) Pontiac Firebird GTA 1987 Toyota Tourer V Mark-II Vauxhall Astra VXR
  12. How is it "off"? Like I said in the first post, above the whole car list, I set these cameras with the seat position sliders in the middle for both options. If the mod were redone to be more "forward" in the 3D space before exporting, this would open up a ton of camera options. As it is, I went through 40+ cameras trying to get something working for Zoqqer's 599/Rosso, I used up every "long cam" in the game, there's really no more options left. The XKR Convertible was the only centered cockpit camera I could find amongst 43 options, you can try the AC427 and the Daytona, but they won't be centered, the steering wheel will be off to the left.
  13. The topic linked in my sig explains how to change the cams and IK's.
  14. If you manually installed the model, then you can't use the physics installer, the physics installer looks for parts of the car installer.
  15. First you praise a model you haven't even downloaded or used for being "perfect" (but still full of bugs and less detailed than this Civic) and now you bash this model??? Next time check when the mod was posted, this one is nearly a year old, before the Forza and NFS Shift models became prevalent.
  16. I've got an Audi S3 and a pair of TT's coming up in the next 10 car set, a regular TT from 2007, and the TT-S from 2008, and the C63 is in there as well. I thought I had the Charger prepped already but I guess not, time to look in the files for that one. EDIT: Added 10 more cars.... Audi S3 (2007) Audi TT (2007) Audi TT-S (2008) BMW M3 E36 Dodge Charger RT 1969 (Tool) Holden Monaro CV8-R (newer version) Mercedes C-63 AMG Mercedes G-500 (new version) Pontiac GTO 1967 Seat Leon Cupra I still have to check on that NSX....
  17. Using a bike camera for a car puts the camera on the ground in the center of the car, totally useless. The Caterham camera is not centered, neither is the Jag, the ONLY centered cams in the game are from the McLarens, and there are NO right hand drive cams at all. Just like the BMW V12 LMR that was recently released, there will NEVER be a good camera for this car unless someone figures out a way to mirror existing cameras. So honestly, until you learn how to mirror the interior, or someone else learns how to mirror the cameras, hoping for a good camera is a waste of time. The best thing you could do is move on to another mod until those things happen, don't continue to waste time on a futile project.
  18. Merc-SLR Cockpit 71 Vette Cockpit_Back C6 Coupe Hood Mustang GT Hood_Back Z-06 IK It seems like the car is set too far back and too low in the 3D space before exporting. A little higher and a little more forward would yield much better camera results. It's already been done once, maybe twice, changing the unused Default_Car and Default_Bike into workable mods.
  19. There's already a couple different topics that link to all the mods on THIS board, whether or not those mods came from Forza 3, that's up to you to find out by READING the model source credit in each topic. And honestly, just because the model didn't come from Forza 3 doesn't automatically make the mod bad, and I've seen a few Forza 3 and NFS Shift conversions that were badly screwed up.....
  20. You can try it, but it will cause a bug once you hit the rear view button and it won't stay on that camera, you'll have to cycle through the cameras again. EDIT: Added 10 more cars, including most of the recent requests. Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z (1990) Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (1996) Chevy "Rustelle" Chevelle Ferrari F-430 Coupe (TDUZoqqer) Mercedes E-class E500 Coupe Nissan 300-ZX Twin Turbo Subaru WRX STI (2008) Subaru Legacy GT (2005) Volkswagen Corrado VR6 Volkswagen Golf Mk.II (new version) Zoqqer's new Novitec Rosso 599 uses the same cams as his 599GTB.
  21. I think everybody needs to lay off the complaints about FileFront links for a few days, the problem is on FileFront's end and has something to do with their new "FileFront 2.0" changeover.
  22. Like I told someone else, the problem with that car is that it's right hand drive, and TDU doesn't support that with any camera option. Your only logical choice is to use the McLaren F1 GTR Camera set and put up with the lopsided steering wheel, or you can use the Audi A4 DTM cockpit cam and pretend like it's the onboard camera used for TV replays in a real race. That particular car is one that can never be imported into TDU without problems in one area or another. Even if it were LHD, the Audi A4 DTM cam wouldn't work because it's too far back, the Lotus Elise cam is an option, but most likely wouldn't be centered in the steering wheel. It's actually gotten much easier over time, I take a screenshot of each camera I try, and save it when I exit the game, then I compare it to existing screenshots from other attempts. Some of the cars I've been able to nail perfect cameras within 2 or 3 tries.
  23. That's not a texture, that's TDU's reflection mapping and the way it handles curves in the model, there's nothing any modder can do about that without remodeling the part from scratch, then re-UV mapping it.
  24. That's the Novitec Rosso 599, not the 599GTO, I just downloaded those cars a few minutes ago, they'll be in the next 10 car list.
