  1. Somewhere close to the end of the main topic above there should be a solution to that.
  2. IK's are easy, there's a group of "safe" IK's to start with, check the list, you'll see some used WAY more than others. The only real problem with IK's is when there's a "flying seatbelt" bug in the car mod itself, then you have to get creative, finding just the right IK to use, or using a motorcycle IK in a car, or changing the seatbelt type in TDUPE.
  3. The bug is in the rim file, just like one of Zoqqer's other mods, the KTM X-Bow, using other rims, the cars work perfectly, but using Zoqqer's rims, the game crashes SOMETIMES, not every time. So it's got nothing to do with the textures in the car itself, it's a texture error in the rim file.
  4. There's 2 different mods done for this car already, but they both have some problems, the latest one is just bad with the whole car shifted to one side with no way to get a reliable camera done. That's what I'm looking for, nice, simple, clean, modernized just a bit with wider rims & tires. The rear spoiler and chin spoiler are a package deal, having one without the other just doesn't look right. An optional download without the spoiler combo package would be nice for those who want the "plain" look. The bolt-on rear wheel arch should either be paint-matched, or paintable as a second color in the custom paint shop. The latter would be preferable, it gives people a choice. If there's a front wheel arch available in Shift, that would also be a nice option, but not mandatory. The tires should not float in thin air on the rims, nor should the rims and tires be super-skinny, it just doesn't look right. The tires should also NOT float above the ground or be set at odd camber angles either. The rims should be RS-Watanabe RS8 Type A of the deep-dish variety as pictured above. The deep-dished rims are very important, flat faced rims just don't look right on this car, which means the brake discs need to be forced inward so they don't ghost through any mod rims that might be added later. There shouldn't be any external oil coolers or intercoolers, or whatever that thing is attached to the front bumper on the latest "drift version" mod. The rollcage visible in that pic above is purely optional, and I would prefer that it not be used unless it's done right, maybe even paint matched for an additional flair. It would also be nice if those front-mounted rear-view mirrors actually worked.
  5. 10 more cars added.... Alfa Romeo 8C Aston Martin One-77 Bentley Continental GT BMW M3 E30 (New) Ferrari F430 Novitech Rosso Supersport Spyder KTM X-Bow Lambo Diablo GT-R Mercedes AMG SL-65 Black Edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic Weismann GT The Daytona cam in the Alfa 8C isn't perfectly centered, but it's the only "driveable" cam I could find for that mod....
  6. Those are side-effects to altering the weight distribution, and there's an easy way to prove that. Pick a car and set the weight all the way forward, then go hit a jump, and watch how fast the car nosedives into the ground. Now reset the weight distro all the way to the back of the car and hit that same jump, the back end of the car will hit the ground first and the nose will fly upward. This was also proven in the topic asking how to get cars to do wheelies, someone posted their settings that had drag cars doing wheelstands down the street.
  7. Oahu-Cars is gone, presumably forever, and as to why the mods haven't been re-uploaded somewhere else, you'll have to ask 2CV about that, he's refusing to let anyone else host the files for some unfathomable reason......
  8. First, you really need a new pic host, that's gotta be the slowest pic hosting I've ever seen, I'm on fiber optic and it's loading the pic like it's dialup. Second, get the 1.68a patch, which has the custom paintshop "unlocked" so you can take in nearly any car, and change both colors of the Veyron. Also, there's a new Veyron done recently that has a moving spoiler connected to the Window controls, those who want it should be able to find it easily enough.
  9. I'm working on the new 8C right now, and I'll post it soon along with 9 other new cars, including the Diablo GT-R.
  10. As long as we're NOT forced to use that craptacular mid-80's neon orange paint......and you know if a certain person does the mod that's exactly what he'll force people to use.....
  11. You need to completely redo the UV maps from scratch on the outside of the car body to get vinyls to work, and that's not an easy task to get it done right without stretching or warping the vinyls.
  12. This is the biggest non-issue of the entire game, there's a ton more stuff that needs to be fixed before the speedos get fixed. Those pining away for 100% accurate speedometers need to realise one very important thing, even real cars and motorcycles don't have perfectly accurate speedos......the speedo on my bike is 5 to 10 mph off.
  13. The Brabus rims are in the game by default, just "hidden" in the Mercedes Rims folder...... Yet another useless "release" topic by a poser who didn't actually do anything......
  14. Change the "rarity" value of the car to 1 in TDUPE.
  15. You do realize that this whole topic is about TDUMT 1.14 and the Advanced Cameras right???
  16. You can make it replace whatever vehicle you want just by renaming the files.
  17. There's no option for it in the physics modifiers, and if you only want it for visuals, like maybe for a drift car, that has to be done to the car mod itself, it can't be done from the outside.
  18. First post in this topic, 4th line......
  19. The biggest thing that Downforce effects is how long your car stays on the air off of jumps or large bumps in the road. The higher the number, the quicker your car hits the road, the lower the number, the higher the jump. Setting it very low will make you jump at less than 35mph......setting it high glues your car to the ground, this works great for the Formula 1 mod. Damping Rate, this is how fast or slow the shock moves up and down in it's travel, at least that's how it is in real life, whether or not the game works properly remains to be seen. In real cars, if the damping rate is too slow, the ride gets rougher and harder to handle because the suspension can't react to the bumps fast enough. If it's too fast, the suspension bounces off the pavement, the proper balance must be achieved to keep the tires on the ground at all times.
  20. That car seriously looks like the designers at Nissan got one look at the Lexus LFA and wanted one just like it. Originality is dead.
  21. There's a MUCH easier way to add vehicle names. Now if this can add Brand names, then it's worth it, but vehicle names can be changed in TDUPE in just a few seconds.
  22. The days of using just ONE camera set for an entire car are gone. I picked these cams because they set all 4 camera views, not just the driver's view.
  23. The filefront links aren't working, try taking the apostrophe out of the filename.
  24. Read a few posts UP people......
  25. If you added the color name, and not the color itself, it's not going to work. You have to add the actual color to the color name or TDU won't know which color you want. First add the color name to the Z-1000's list. Then highlight that name in the color list, now add the proper color to the name.
