  1. You can do what you want to do, but you just have to make your rim+tire combo slightly bigger than the TDU tire. That means the TDU tire will be hidden INSIDE of your rim+tire combo, you can't get rid of it entirely unless you seriously bug things up, I have seen that done on an old Plymouth Cuda mod, but again, it was just a bug in the mod, not deliberate. That's the only way you're going to be able to do the "drift rubber" style tire mounting.
  2. There's a Boss 302 Mustang mod that has the original Polyglass tires on it, the modder did it by making the polyglass tires bigger than the TDU tires which are still present, but hidden inside. He made the rim model include the tire with it, normally it's just the rim.
  3. Something very close to the DOTZ Shuriken is already done, and the Hanzo has been done for a while.
  4. Realistically, why is this so much of a problem??? How many times are you sitting there staring at the front of the car you're driving???
  5. IK stands for Inverse Kinematics, in simple terms for TDU, it's what controls the bone structure used for the character animations inside the cars, and there's probably one for inside the houses as well. Inside the cars the IK controls the hand position on the steering wheel, the body position of the character (sitting up straight, leaned back, etc), and where the seatbelts get placed inside the car.
  6. Check the link in my sig, change the cameras yourself.
  7. manu, check the file you downloaded, if there's only 2 files in the patchs folder, then you did NOT download the car mod, you only downloaded the physics. If you did download the car mod, then uninstall it, and put the car into the game manually using the mod files in the patchs folder.
  8. This is how important modding files get lost down the line, nobody gives permission for outside hosting so the outside sites can only link back to the original. When the original site goes down for whatever reason, the files are lost forever. I've seen it happen a dozen times over already. The best thing you could do is give people permission to host the patches on outside sites, it would even ease up on your bandwidth costs.
  9. In case you aren't aware, your site isn't working, and hasn't been working for at least a week, maybe more. Since you never gave anyone permission to host the files outside of your site, they could only link to you, and since your site isn't working, nobody's been able to download the patches or the car mods you're hosting.
  10. The "7 version" Supra is actually the older one, Tool made a newer one with a better interior but never added it to his mod factory list. And Tsuka, your link comes up as "invalid" for some reason.
  11. Use the Advanced camera editor in the Vehicle Manager section of the program. Check the link in my sig for a list of the best cams & IK's to use.
  12. There's rims already in the game that look close enough to Watanabe RS rims to work good, it's the extra rims in the Lotus folder if I remember correctly. Plus, the engine under the hood seems kind of a waste for TDU, especially if the hood opening takes away from the doors and windows opening.

    Audi R8

The V12 TDI has been officially canceled by Audi, I can't remember where I read it though, but it was an official statement by them. Too bad, it's the best looking R8 there is except for that NACA duct in the glass roof. Maybe if they had pursued a regular V12 engine instead of diesel there might have been more interest.
  14. On the download site it still says the car database is 2.0
  15. You're getting that message because you made a physics change with TDUPE or a physics installer that DJey doesn't want made. Read back through the topic, he hinted at how to fix it.
  16. 1. Don't hijack topics. 2. Asking for replacement files is not allowed. 3. Just find another mod to replace the original with or re-install the game.
  17. I think the link was permanently removed because this mod was taken from a San Andreas conversion, and most likely it was taken without permission. You're not really missing much anyways, it was a bad conversion to TDU, too long, too wide, and vertically squished.
  18. Because only the bikes in TDU rev higher, I think 8800 is the limit without modifying the BTRQ files.
  19. This is the OLD version of this particular car, there's already been a new Supra mod made. Maybe if some of you would stop looking on the last page of the forums and start looking at the posting date you might be able to find the new stuff.
  20. I think Strasse needs to learn what the word "forged" means, because those are Carbon Fiber, not forged metal.
  21. That's what happens when you don't look at the release date on the mod, this one is old, look for the remake.
  22. There's already a Z4 M Coupe done by someone else.
  23. SUV's depending on how they were made, are almost impossible to find working cameras for, that's why I don't even try, there's only 2 cameras high enough to fit an SUV, and that's the Holden Efijy, and the Chevy SSR. That's why I think it's a waste of time to try to keep putting more and more of them into the game, if they can't be made to fit a car camera setup, then don't bother. The only real reason why the Russian modders continue to convert them, is because they've hacked the camera system to put the cams wherever they want them, and that's not allowed on this forum.
