  1. Sitting in a real traffic jam in real life is frustrating enough, especially on a motorcycle because I don't feel like losing my bike license for lane splitting, but sitting in a virtual traffic jam would be enough to make me shoot the programmer who designed such an idiotic thing.....
  2. There's a 1996 GTS made if you really want it.
  3. That's already there....
  4. The full car name list from the 1.68 patch. Proper engine type names, a flathead and a flat engine are two different things. Flat engines are usually called Boxers. And there's at least one engine type missing, although I forgot what it was at this point, I think it's either the Veyron or Gumpert engine. The advanced 4 camera system for each car. A rim size option instead of the swap method. Tire width and height options if possible. Basically the ability to put in the numbers for the right tire size, and have them show up on the car and in the car's data in the menu ingame. And I don't think this one is possible, but a rim offset feature would be awesome, some mods have the rims set inside the tires, so no matter how big you make the rims, they never look any bigger so they need a way to push the rim away from the car but leave the tire where it is. Maybe add a slider to the Center of Gravity options. That's all I can think of for now.
  5. How about using a low RPM sample from another car that's "close enough" to get the job done??? Because as I said, it's very difficult to find good samples of the real Hakosuka at low RPM in race tune, all I can find are low RPM samples from a near stock S20 engine in a near stock car with tons of sound dampening in the interior. I'm not a "realism nut" so it doesn't have to be 100% totally accurate all from the same car, as long as it sounds good ingame and the high end comes from that full race Hakosuka, I and many others will be very happy. I won't be spending too much time in that car at low RPM anyways  There's quite a few vids on youtube of the "PetFrog" Porsche GT3-RS with the Sharkwerks exhaust, that car with that exhaust, at low RPM, should sound very close to the Hakosuka GTR at the same RPM, both cars have that same kind of blood curdling "primal scream" to them.
  6. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=18277 That's the link in my sig, 150 car mods with the best possible cams and IK's already listed, including seatbelt settings for specific problem cars. Set your seat position sliders to the MIDDLE for both options, change the cams & IKS's, and you're set. If you change the settings for ALL your car mods, you'll never have to mess with the position sliders again.
  7. Get the latest version of the modding tools..... http://oahucars-unlimited.com/
  8. Got latest version of TDUMT ? ? ? Version 1.14 is the latest one.
  9. Someone made a horn for the General Lee mod, find that mod and you can figure it out from there.
  10. Don't use that button. If you want to change the cameras, there's a simple guide in the Cam & IK topic linked in my sig.
  11. IIRC that Yellow car on the dyno isn't a stock F355, it's either modified or a 355 F1.
  12. It's actually pretty close to the 355 after listening to a few videos of the real thing.
  13. The specific name of the color is Polished Aluminum, and it uses these colors.... Silver (GR1_02) Black (N_01)
  14. What exactly are you looking for so I know what to search for? The S20 engine, especially in race tune, doesn't really have a "low rpm sound", it screams like a banshee from the bottom end all the way to 7000rpm. You could hear the cold start in that video, that repetitive throttle blip is it's idle. It was the same with the S20 engines used in the R380 racecars. It's very hard to find good audio for the S20, the engines are extremely expensive, often running into the $20,000 range (U.S. Funds) Those who do have them are grouped into two camps, the ones who choose the 100% bone stock tune the same way it was the day the car hit the showroom floor, and the ones who go with a full race tune.
  15. Why should anyone have to re-upload it when the original DL link still works perfectly???
  16. OK Folks here's a clue, if you install a car, ANY CAR, with one of the installers, and it crashes your game, use the installer again to UNINSTALL the car, then install it MANUALLY. In the patchs folder is all the parts for the mod, install them MANUALLY, copy and paste them, just make sure you make a backup of your original files.
  17. Guys, this is the lower quality version of the Veyron, the higher quality remake was just linked a few posts above.....
  18. This car reminds me of the old 550 Spyder, and yeah, the rims are ugly.
  19. Apparently there's mods for Re-Volt now, there's a few vids on youtube with someone driving a Gallardo.
  20. If you really want to drive around toy cars, go find a game called Re-Volt, it's exactly what you want.
  21. Some of you really need to start using the Search function, or at least looking past the first page in the Release forum, because the Nissan is already done, and pretty much every Silvia version has been done multiple times.
  22. If you're using car mods and not just the stock vehicles in the game, check the link in my sig for the best cameras for each car mod.
  23. Learn to use the Edit button instead of triple posting..... And the real Skyline 2000 GTR doesn't sound anything like the Ariel Atom.
