Tool831: Acura/Honda Integra Type-R [1 kit] [V1.2]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
The passenger position is a bit bugged, the passenger's head sticks through the roof because they sit too far forward. -
http://www.seriouswheels.com/1960-1969/1968-Ford-Mustang-Fastback-GT390-Bullitt.htm The ones on the older Mustang. I thought for sure that I've seen them either in the game, or already made on a modded car, I just can't remember where.

released T3hReaper: 2004 Toyota MRS [5 Versions Released][v1.0]
Kurgan777 replied to T3hReaper91's topic in Vehicle Mods
If you mean the ride height, ingame it looks to be pretty much the same on both cars... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/MRS_Combined_2.jpg The top is the Elise, and the bottom is the TT. The only real difference is the tire width and that different head position. -
There's a model already done in NFS Pro Street, so conversion shouldn't be a problem if you can find someone to do it.

released T3hReaper: 2004 Toyota MRS [5 Versions Released][v1.0]
Kurgan777 replied to T3hReaper91's topic in Vehicle Mods
I sat in one of these at an auto show when they first came out, it was one of three cars in the entire show that had everything placed properly around the driver, the other two were a 2000 Mustang GT, and an Audi TT Convertible with seats that looked like they were made out of baseball glove leather and stitching. A better replacement option for this car is the stock Lotus Elise, especially in the handling department, and also in the looks. When you replace the TT you get superwide "steamroller" tires front and rear, and the Elise is much more realistic. There's only a very slight driver's head position bug from external views, and the internal view can be easily adjusted with the ingame options. -
released Tool831: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 [V1.0 Spoiler up down]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
Wow, just unbelievable...... So now nobody is allowed to make bug reports on your conversions, or give you guys constructive criticism to HELP YOU with the models, to find things you obviously don't see, or can't see??? Thank you for proving my point.... Take a CLOSE look at the back of the car and compare distances to the edge of the screen... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/YourBuggedVeyron.jpg That's your screenshot, with the brightness kicked up a bit, and some "distance comparison bars" added for visual effect. Your version of the game has the car just as off-center and twisted as my version of the game.... -
Well someone found a way to rip the models already, the 430 Scuderia was released for GTA-SA not too long ago and they gave the source as that game.

released Tool831: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 [V1.0 Spoiler up down]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
I'm sorry but I don't believe this, I've been scratch building 3-D models since Quake 2 and Quake 3 and I started off using MilkShape 3-D of all programs, then switched to 3dsMax, and now you're trying to tell me that a 3-D modeling program somehow doesn't let you move objects to the left or right or twist them around a vertical axis??? I'm not gonna fall for that, period. I realize that ZModeler isn't exactly the best 3-D modeling program out there, but I've seen some fairly fantastic creations scratch-made in it, not just converted by it. Now that means any object created in it or imported into it, can be moved around anywhere you want it to be, resized, stretched, shrunk, poked, prodded, deformed, and generally do whatever you want with it. The guages don't work, I don't see any moving needles at all, even in direct sunlight, the car is twisted left and off-center right, and there's tachometer "sticking" with the mod installed that's not there on the stock vehicles, the tach needle in the bumper cam sticks between 4000 and 6000 rpm, even when you let off the throttle. I've only seen this once before when I put the 77 Trans Am on the Pontiac GTO. Believe me here, nobody's trying to deliberately bash your conversions, I'm trying to let you know that there ARE problems with the model so that maybe, just MAYBE instead of starting up yet another project, you'll at least TRY to fix those bugs instead of ignoring them or dismissing them like you usually do, claiming that you don't see them so they don't exist. Maybe it would be better if you started off with a WIP or BETA release and accepted the fact that there MIGHT be bugs instead of just assuming that there are none. You said it yourself before, you go on 20+ hour stints without breaks or sleep so it's 100% impossible for you to see all the possible problems that might happen. I can guarantee you speaking from personal experience that marathon stints like that cause more problems than they fix. -
released Tool831: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 [V1.0 Spoiler up down]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
You're not seriously blaming my eyes when I already posted SCREENSHOTS as evidence are you??? Stock vehicles (Edonis and ME412) are centered and straight, the new Veyron is not. The only logical conclusion to be drawn from that is that the New Veyron is off-center and twisted. I even went back to the Basbas Veyron just for comparison, it's centered and straight. If you don't have the problem, then post your own screenshots, because that's the only way I'll ever believe you..... Simple PrintScreen captures here, not the Photo mode. One pic of the Hood view, and the closeup tail cam with the car sitting just outside the Pagani/Edonis dealership after you exit the dealership. And while you're at it, repeat the same thing for the RX-7 and it's bodykits. Because if the Aussie version of the game is somehow different, then I think a few hundred thousand buyers of the game from other regions will have a valid complaint for Eden games...... -
released Tool831: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 [V1.0 Spoiler up down]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
I find that hard to believe when you have the same game as the rest of us and you're modding the same cars, others also had the off-center bug on the RX-7 + kits. The stock Edonis and ME412 are centered and straight, I deliberately went back to the stock vehicles just to check this, then put the mods back on, and when you put the Veyron on either of them, spoiler up or spoiler down, they both end up with the same off-center twist. And I only used the ME412 because I thought it was a better match for the real Veyron's power and top speed. It's a royal pain to control with a PS-2 USB controller adapter, but it's FAST, and it'll smoke the tires at 125+MPH :eek2: -
released Tool831: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 [V1.0 Spoiler up down]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
Both versions of the car are off-center, this time to the right, plus it seems to be "twisted" a little, the front of the car is facing left and the back is out to the right, and you can also see daylight under the hood when replacing the Edonis, and even more when you replace the Chrysler ME FourTwelve. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/VeyronHood_2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/VeyronTwist_2.jpg -

You'd need to know quite a bit about 3-D modeling to do UV Mapping properly. Without a good UV Map you won't get a good texture. -

released Tool831: Honda CRX SI-R (Released V1.0)
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
Use Saladine's sound for the Lotus, they use Honda engines IIRC. -
Is there any chance this could ever work for bikes??? It would be nice to change their colors as well. I did the same thing, painted both the F-40 and the Enzo a better metallic red, the CLK-DTM is now a nice Graphite color that AMG actually does offer on the real car for a higher price, and the Alpha 8C a nice medium blue.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Sound+Rims!
Kurgan777 replied to Skepsis's topic in Car Customization Mods
I used this new sound for the Roadster, and left the old Ultimate Zonda sound for the LP-640, it's got just a bit more of a scream to it. -
Muuuuch better than the first one. Add just a touch more bass to the low and mid ranges, and at least double the bass on the high end and it'll be perfect. It just sounds like it loses something when it hits 6000 RPM.

Tool831: Mazda RX-7 [V2.0] [3 Versions] (No Spoiler Released)
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
You're releasing them RIGHT NOW, which means they're not supposed to be locked. Quitting just because of a forum rule change that forces you to admit where you're getting your models from is kinda childish don't you think??? Is anybody doing that??? NO THEY'RE NOT ! ! ! Is jumping to false conclusions an Olympic Sport with you or what??? It's not your work, just because you converted something doesn't mean you get to claim infinite dominion over it. The day you build something 100% from scratch, THEN you can claim dominion over it. Even if someone does decide to release what they did, as long as you're credited as the original converter that shouldn't be a problem. For you to say that in another topic, then turn around and and try to steal credit or claim dominion over other people's work is the absolute definition of hypocrisy. 1. All I did was decompile the BNK files to check for the locks and they were still present. 2. Stop jumping to false conclusions....you seriously need to stop biting people's heads off when they're not doing anything wrong to you. 3. If I want something added or removed from a model ON MY OWN PERSONAL MACHINE, then that's my business as long as it's not released. You simply do NOT get to decide what happens on my computer or anyone else's for that matter. Considering how many glaring bugs you deliberately overlook just to get things out the door as fast as possible, yes, you do rush things out. You seriously need to take a trip over to places like SMCars and learn how to accept CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM like they do. Over there they realize that they're just human and they make mistakes they might not see, and they accept other people's insight on how to make the models BETTER. You'll never see anyone bite someone's head off for commenting on their models over there, they actually WANT the comments to be made. If you can't take someone commenting on the things you release, then why are you releasing them at all??? I'm not going to sit here and kiss your backside when you're doing the two things I despise, 1) claiming credit for things you didn't do, and 2) releasing bugged up conversions then ignoring the bugs even AFTER people point them out to you. You ignore the bugs just to start work on other conversions and you leave bugs in them too.... Wow, that one came from way out in left field considering the fact that I've never said that..... Having alot of "rep" doesn't mean you're perfect or untouchable, you're human, you make mistakes just like everyone else and you need to follow the sames rules as everyone else. If someone else sees your mistakes and points them out to you, THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO BASH YOU AT ALL, they're trying to HELP YOU. If you can't openly accept that help, then that's nobody's fault but your own. -
Tool831: Mazda RX-7 [V2.0] [3 Versions] (No Spoiler Released)
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
Even the stock version on the Saturn is still shifted left, that's why all the rest of the versions are now shifted left as well. This needs to get fixed as it's effecting ALL of the camera views for every new version you release, and the more versions you put out there, the more bugs you'll have to fix later, it's easier to fix it early than it would be to go back and fix tons of stuff later. Nobody's asking you to try to change the camera views themselves because we know those views are tied to the original ingame cars, the problem is with the RX-7 model itself being shifted 10 inches to the LEFT. This should be a simple fix, just shift the stock base model back to the right before you export the BNK then go to the hood cam ingame to test the centering. You'll get far more respect for a QUALITY conversion than you will for a rushed out bugged up conversion. Rushing things out just to get them out there is actually a BAD thing to do. And you're still locking the .3DG files out with comments on the lockouts that it's still somehow "your work" when it's not. http://forum.turboduck.net/announcement.php?f=75 -
Tool831: Mazda RX-7 [V2.0] [3 Versions] (No Spoiler Released)
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
The two best ones I've found so far, are the Alpha 8C and the Shelby Cobra Concept car. Both have good ride heights and good interior cameras that can be made perfect with the seat position adjustment. The main problem with the Alpha 8C is that it can't be painted or tuned, so you're stuck with mirror black and tomato red. The stock 8C rims look great on the car though. And the only real problem I could find with the Cobra Concept (aside from the left shift) is the hood cam being too far back, it's right under the rearview mirror. Saladine's 13B rotary sound is perfect for the Veilside in the Cobra slot. It's just in the right rev range with the BOV sound on the shifts.
