    well hyperthreading was a gimmick back then, now it is very beneficial for vr/rendering/higher resolution. Also you're the it guy you should know always go with the common hardware. Codes are written for intel then sort of ported for amd.

    Unless you're into simulating galaxy models or rendering special effects for michael bay movies, a 7700k is good for anything you can throw at it. I'm waiting for the price to drop just a tad, gonna be building a new system myself this summer.

    no, doesn't make sense, inflation rate in australia is around 1.5%, by your calculation it is around 14% per year. If you ask my opinion getting the most high end stuff is never feasible or efficient with technology. The fact that all of the items on that list will be outdated in a year doesn't make it worth spending the kind of money you would spend on a 2nd hand car. There's always a sweet spot, it's called the pareto principle. Also I wouldn't buy amd.

    There is no medium in space in which the sound can travel through. I think you might be confusing radio waves and sound which are completely different phenomenons. Radio waves are a spectrum of light which can be detected via our radio telescopes billions of light years away.
