So they kinda "piggy back" on the corvette sound? so like if I change out the vette sound the traffic will change as well?

Is there a way to convert the crown vic mods used for GTA-SA to TDU to use as a cop car? There is a lot of high quality models if theres a way:)

It would be AWESOME to change the sound of the traffic to match what they are, like for instance I think the small trucks are trying to sound like an F1 car!.....rofl....Doesn't quite match up do they:confused:...I Don't know how to put together the mods but I'd love to try and help gather sound samples from videos and stuff:) I just started out modding the game a little and I'm hooked, I love this game!:thumbsup:

It will not even install for me, I use Win Xp Pro x64 Fully updated version of TDU WITH Mega pack. I click on install and it lingers for a sec and refuses to install I DO have NET 2.0 installed. Ok I have V1.2 working but I do not know how to use it to mod sound files...??? If anyone can leave reply here or explain it to me through pm or AIM that would be great. :edit: Nope still not working!

Ok, so I just look in the sound file for the one that looks like the s281e like the one I have in the game and then try and match the original file size with the new sound? right? I'm trying to make sure I understand everything correctly so that I could help people as I learn too:) I started out modding GTA-SA so this game is quite different for me;) oh and thank you for the response! :edit: ok I think I found it, it was easy to spot is this the right one? " S281E_Cpe_audio.bnk " :EDIT!!! Ok I have tried out the sound mod for the Saleen, The file size is too big and I got no sound, the magic map thingie won't install, I'm kinda upset, good thing I always back up;) :Edit again: I found the problem I had the wrong set up going on I used the magic map and got the sound sorted out I tried it out and I like it good job! well done i look forward to more of your sound mods:)

Sorry if this sounds noobish but whats the name of the Saleen S281 sound file? Please! I want to try out the sound mods on it, that Saleen does NOT sound right!

File not there! link outdated...AKA no workie! As for the sound racing brakes sound like that in real life, they squeel a lot and they take quite a while to heat up to temp.

Ok I am slightly confused....What files should I be downloading? I have the updated version of TDU AND the expansion pack...And do I just make a folder do a search for file name go to it copy it save it in the saved folder and replace with new sound file? Thats what I got out of what I was reading.

If people are working on it then I got nothing but praise and support for them, keep up the good work:) I'm hoping the bigger monitor will help out loads in that area:)

Well I got a month till I buy a new exhaust system for my car *real life car* and then I can buy a decent monitor i'm thinking 23" or bigger would work....

Nothing? There isn't ANY WAY to mod the file that says how big or bold that bloody text is? Its pretty upsetting to not be able to read what others say.... IM FUSTERATED!:mad:

But there not driving at 200 mph.....And its not STOCK car racing its aluminum body wrapped around a tubular chassis made in a shop racing....STOCK car racing would entail they actually race STOCK cars, like the ones you see in the show room. And what happens if they try and turn right? CRASH BOOM......dead!

I thought I was losing my mind see I have a 16" screen!....Ok... so I'm NOT the only one with this problem...It would definitely be worth looking into, I have only modded games like GTA-SA and Vice city But I have no clue where to start with this game....I figure if I beg real hard somebody might answer the plea's;)

Nothin? only way to fix this that I know of right now is to spend a TON of money on a new screen.....I do need one but I just do not have that kind of money.

I was actually hoping for a mod for bigger font I have a smaller screen then most guys have nowadays....I think my resolution is already as low as it gets.......:crying: :EDIT: I went back into the game and tried it out and it didn't help at all....the font for me is just way to fligging small!

My Major complaint other then the cop cars and traffic being horrible looking....The in game chat text is WAY too small and I cannot read what others are saying I really need it bigger....Much bigger, that alone would improve the quality of game play 200%:thumbsup: Could somebody help me out?:o My eyes are bad enough as it is.:mad:
