Ok. Sorry missed that bit. I don't think that the 1.66A would have a uninstall option but I guess you could just try and over-install it again? Other than that, the community patch is the only method I know. Anyway, good luck with fixing it :)

Your database files are corrupted so what normally works is you need to either install or uninstall one of the 1.67/68 patches. They have a new database integrated so it will replace your faulty one. If you already have it installed, uninstall the patch as it will replace with the original 1.66 database. If you don't know how to uninstall or install them, it is all in the installer (Find it here) Here is some proof from the page: Important Notes - You can also repair your TDU install by this patch if you got a conflict into your Database after installing mods which have a wrong install program. Look around before you go posting a new thread on this. There has been at least 3 threads made in the past month on this exact topic. none.com means that you have done one or more of these things: .You have a pirate copy of TDU installed .You have a pirate copy of the TDU Megapack installed .You have used a NoCD/DVD crack for the game It's Atari's way of saying that you have done something illegal to your game, therefore they have blacklisted you from playing online. How do you get rid of this? Well for starters get rid of the illegal aspect of the game and buy a legal copy. It's what? $10US now? So cheapie, cheapie. You have to completely wipe off every trace of the game in order to play online again. Do the below in that exact order .Uninstall TDU from control Panel .Go to C:\Program Files\Atari and delete. (If its already gone from there, don't worry) .Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data and delete Test Drive. .Install TDU again (Only Legal or you will be doing all the above again!) There is no other way that none.com will be coming up. If you think I'm some full of it bossy guy, contact Atari with the issue ;) Trust me, I know what the issue is, I stupidly installed a NoCD last year and asked the exact same question on this forum along with millions of other people. Well, none.com only comes up if Atari detects a pirate serial. If you are telling the truth that you actually bought the game, then its a problem with your game and you need to contact Atari. Did you download a pirate megaack?? The same thing happens if you have that installed and it isn't a legit copy. If that is the case, completely remove TDU (including Documents and settings/Application data/Test Drive Unlimited) and install the game again.DO NOT reinstall the megapack if it is a pirate. Just delete it and pay the $10US for it. But if the actual TDU game is a pirate, you will not be able to play online and it is illegal so I strongly recommend paying the small amount of money to buy the game. Hope that helps

Double post I know but I fixed it. I went into Appication Data (C:/Documentsandsettings....) and deleted TDU which made Gamespy pop up on Mcafee (Mcafee said it was a virus! How dumb can it get?) and now I'm in. Thanks so much everyone for the help.

Okie Dokie. Tried that and still no luck with the game. It must be something I've done to my computer. The next thing I might try is buying a new network card. I nearly have $300 saved up for a 5770 and a new PSU so I might buy a cheap one with that purchase.

He will. The annoying downside of having a I.T techy as a father. He's bought a 3 year one 2 years ago so I think it expires dec. There must be a way to temporarily muzzle the stupid program for about 5 mins? Google here I come. :run:
