Thanks heaps guys :) Yeah I might just be better off going for a 600D and then being able to buy a lens like the 50 1.8 shortly afterwards. Sony looks amazing but I just don't trust it yet (too new) and the lenses look either too plasticy and cheap or to gold plated and expensive. I have considered the D5100 but the BIG problem with that is it's stupid focusing mechanism, so if I were to buy that I would have to buy all the AF-S lenses which is therefore more $$$ And Tom, I know entirely what you mean. But the thing is, the 550D is like $40 cheaper at the moment. And that was the Kiss X4 which has the most stupid name in existence! :p So for the extra $40, I get basically several new features (the screen mainly) and an actual name (600D). If the price gap was bigger and I could get a 550D logo, trust me I would have gone for that..

Thanks Pierre :) I can get the 60D without a problem but it will drain ALL of my money and I will have to wait a bit longer as I said. Something I am willing to do though... 600D w 18/55: $779 60D w 18/55: $1099 A65 w 18/55: Roughly $1050 Tricky stuff :/

Hey fellow photography obsessed people :] Okay, I am going to be upgrading my Pentax K100D in just under a months time and am 'apocalypticaly' stuck on what camera to get. I want a camera that has good quality, has some cheaper lenses available (for now) and has more then 6mp like my bloody Pentax haha. I have basically narrowed it down to 2 options so here they are: 1. Get the camera on my birthday which is just under a month away. The only camera I will be able to afford though if I get it straight on my birthday will be a 600D. hopefully will also be able to just manage a 50mm 1.8 lens with this option too. And yes I know the majority will want to egg me for saying the 600D but the only reason for why I am considering it is because it is currently like $50AUD more then the 550D on eBay. Which then makes it worth it. I am leaning more on this option because I have wanted a new DSLR for so bloody long and then I can just get it straight away haha. 2. Wait until I get all my birthday and then hopefully have enough to get the 60D by late oct - early nov. Enough said :p But the thing is that I don't know if it is worth paying an extra $300 for the 60D over the 600D. For guys that have either of these cameras (including the 550) What should I do?? I will be able to get the 60D but is it worth paying extra to get it? Or should I just put up with the 600D and buy some good lenses. Also one more thing, do you guys know anything about the new Sony A-65,77 range?? The 65 is in 60D price territory and looks really, really tempting. (24.6 MP, Phwoar!!) Our entire house is Sony but sony dslr's are something I am really unfamiliar with.... haha I know you weren't :) It was a couple of others who were moaning.I chose a car that is easily accessible to all players in the game. I could of easily chosen a Bugatti Veyron or something as rare as, I dunno, a 2001 BMW 318i Coupe Race spec (sooo rare) But I didn't. You made a good point, make a picture out of it. That's exactly what POTW is. So whatever the theme is, whether you all like it or not, give it a shot! :p I'm glad you had fun with it. That again is what POTW is for. Just think of the incredible sub 20 second 0-60 drag races you can have with that beast of a hybrid......................................................................................

Guys, seriously, I'm sorry if you are peed off at the theme but I did it as a bit of fun okay? I wanted to make it challenging by doing one car only and the first CHEAP car that came to mind was for some relatively odd reason, a Prius :s I don't play the game much but I assumed that you could purchase it in proper career mode. I didn't know it was just an arcade mode. But then again, you can still use the car in photo travel so you aren't missing out on much. If you can do a shot of the Prius, then great! enter it :) If you can't or simply don't want to, then maybe this is a POTW you can just miss out on. I did it for a joke, not to annoy you all. Trust me, I'm not that mean haha I have chose 4 POTW's and this is the first one that I have had complaints. So I will make it easier from now on if I ever win another one Look at Ozzcom and Skylarks, they are brilliant! haha.

Yay thanks for the votes so far guys :) I went with Bimmer. The Framing and dof is awesome.

Ryzza is definitely on the money :p All I can say is good luck, you'll need every bit of it.... I tried connecting my momo when my other wheel was in Sydney getting fixed and it was literally like deciphering the mystery of the universe :o For starters, there is a big chunky dead-zone that I could never fix. And the MOMO hardly turns that far as it is so prepare to be driven insane. Then I had problems with getting the pedals to work correctly. I actually ended up uninstalling all the drivers and then install a much older version and that got the pedals to work. Well, sort of work :/ I eventually just gave up and used my ps3 controller instead, which amazingly worked really well with the game for a month then an update came for the game and it completely stopped working... As you can see I have a very optimistic opinion on TDU2 :)

Started learning the Piano :) Unfortunatley, the only Piano I have at home is a keyboard dad got 30 years ago. So in other words, think of the worlds worst keyboard, then multiply it by one gigazigadigazillion... It's the worst thing haha Trying to talk my parents into this one. I spend all my music class at school on this thing. Sounds amazzzzing.
