  1. the game was patched on your end and the server was patched aswell. We don't get the list of things that got patched on the server since its secret stuff regarding security and so on. But from what GMDestra said before, changes on the server were made to increase their reliability and connection stability, so with it, they could adress the rest of the problems more easily. Also they seem be increasing the amount of servers. From my perspective, addressing the connection issues is by far the most important task, as without server connection, you can't play the game on the pc version. And with people not being able to play, you not only very angry costumers but also no feedback on what needs to be fixed. I must say at least that after the patch, I've been able to log on more easily (sometimes instantly, which is good). And according to their forums, they'll keep working on whatever needs fixing.
  2. the pre-order cars will probably follow the sales model for the already available dlc on atari's site. I doub't they will release it in a "mega-pack" since they would be forced to make packs for each of the retailers, removing the car they added for pre-order (e.g.: steam would have to have a pack with the zonda tricolore removed from it, since people who pre-ordered the game from them wouldn't be interested into paying for it again.) They will probably release each car alone, which imo is better. They can make megapacks with other dlc stuff.
  3. Just fooling around with the game camera... Oahu House Backyard AMG ML63 by the docks Pagani Zonda Tricolore (pre order car) Gumpert Apollo (did a delivery mission on it) Edit: Taking Pictures OUT of TDU2 Tutorial As TDU 2 now allows you to decorate your house with pictures taken by yourself, Eden had to work out a encryption code to prevent you from visiting a house full of Playboy Centerfolds on its frames (or worse things). Therefore, even thou pictures on the photos folder of TDU 2 are in JPG format, no software on your PC will be able to open them. Here's what you have to do to get your pictures out. 1 - Get your favorite screen capture software. On this tutorial I'll be using F.R.A.P.S for this 2 - Start your game, and go on making those pictures. When you are prompted to name and save your picture, leave the name in blank if you want, and save the picture normaly 3 - Access one of your houses, and on the Notebook, access your photo album. 4 - Get your picture in fullscreen mode by pressing enter over it and create a screencap of it. In FRAPS, if you want to keep the quality, select PNG over JPG on its settings. But remenber to convert it back on your favorite photoediting software to keep the size down. If you don't care for this, just use JPG directly on FRAPS to keep your work to a minimum. 5 - Done, on your selected FRAPS image folder you should find the pictures ready to be used/uploaded.
  4. don't bother adding Honda to your lists, Honda doesn't want their image associated with street racing, So unless it's a circuit racing game, don't get your hopes up.
  5. I'm not dutch, but it seems you can use paypal to get the tokens. Log in on tdu2 site and on the top bar click on the "get more" button (with a little Atari coin on it). Seems this is the only way to get the paypal option to show up. On the next screen select how much you want to spend and then the rest of the options should apear (credit card & paypal) All other menus doesn't have the paypal option displaying on it yet. I hope it helps
  6. been playing since release day on pc (steam copy), had some ups and downs with the control biding (had to drop the gamepad and play on keyboard till i buy another gamepad), but yesterday me and my friends managed to meet up online for a cruise... Ferrari F458, Audi R8 and a Nissan GT-R. We started in later afternoon beginning of the night, near the Asian Cars dealer, and drove back to where the beta test house was. Gotta say it as incredible due the fact that we when we made our trip with the night weather coming in, completely changing the landscape. For that moment i could overlook all the bugs and realize that TDU was still a great game.
  7. actually, there's not much need for such map on the pc besides secrets. (although i think this will work on ps3 and xbox360) if you go to your profile (press ESC), select the collections skill tab, click on the vehicles tab and then click on a unfinished objective inside of it to activate it (any one who doesn't have a green tick on it). The game will list all car dealers on the map. Same for clothing stores, barber shops, cosmetic clinic, etc. Doesn't work for houses thou, since it will only list the house agent shop. The good thing of this is that you can gps your way to the dealer you want, since they will show up on your map, allowing you to mark them. :)
  8. anyone has any clue about the trailer song's name?
  9. First Secret Car, "Buggy V8" looks ok, but i still want that dragster.
  10. yeah its that kind :P I have a PS2 gamepad/joystick that i wired to usb with a help of a friend, it's old i would say about 5 to 6 years in use already. Windows recognizes it as generic usb joystick, and most of the games let e use it without problems. I use it because i'm used to it. Had a Logitech one for few months but something always felt wrong while using it. Ended up selling it to a friend and returning to my trusty companion. But lately, some of the latest games don't accept it, giving me as choice the xb360 pad as the only possible choice. Since TDU1 worked with this pad i had, i was wondering if TDU2 would as well... or if i would have to fork over and get a new pad for me. I hope he answers that. edit: forgot to add, I'm asking this since it pretty much cover any joystick that windows label as "generic", and uses windows own drivers to work.
  11. dunno if it was posted already, but a friend linked me with a news post on famitsu mag in japan, it had pics of the subaru wrx and the ford mustang http://www.famitsu.com/news/201011/images/00035407/HW78V5V6d7gyt5Yb5J313b7SYk8sl6tQ.html
  12. Tool's model is more accurate than the one from Eden (actually, all cars from Eden are off at some point)
  13. it will be only the stock model or will you make some of the bodykits available from shift? Since they are indeed based on real life ones.
  14. if I'm hopefully correct, these are based on the nfs shift models... if so, i can assure they will be great since the patch including them got released for pc today :D
  15. It happens on mine too, i also noticed that the passenger head sticks through the roof of the car. Still, little problems that really doesn't undermine the whole experience :)
  16. looks i got the problem solved myself. Download Djey mod tools and reassigned the Audi S6 to it's dealer, everything is working normally now...
  17. if thats for me, i dunno how it will solve my problem  I have the megapack already, and on one of my saves, i have a purchased S6 on one of my garages. What happens is that once i installed the patch, the S6 could no longer be found on the dealer, only on my garage...
  18. Hi, I have a little question concerning the pack. After i Installed it I could just not find the Audi S6 on the Audi dealer anymore. Did i do something wrong during the install?
  19. thousand of times better than the R32 Golf. Great Job man!
