In celebration of the announcement of the much anticipated Test Drive Unlimited 2 and also because of the lack of cruises for those of us who live around Australia and the like. I've decided to organize a cruise. You're allowed any car you want so this is after all a celebration so you choose the car that you like the best and most importantly, have fun! Meeting Place will be the Ferrari/Maserati Dealership in the center of Honolulu. New players would most likely not have found all the far out places so this is a nice and easy meeting point. There will be no specific routes as such, so if anyone knows a good place to go from where we are then on the day, just type it out and the rest will follow. Once you get there and we've gone past the road, the next person will lead and so on. ^ No one has a model they can port over (Yes tool I know you don't just 'convert' them; it's just a way of putting things simply). If you check the Internet Games Car Databse; no game on the PC has had a the Maserati Quattroporte and the one that has http://igcd.net/vehicles.php?make=Maserati&width=1280&page=2 has not been released yet.

I'll be very disappointed if they leave the island as it is; my only real gripe with TDU was the dead environment.

There is AA you just have to wait for a second for it to set in. Woah, woah, woah. I did not mean to start an arguement so sorry about that. Anyways; Woody you said something about being able to view the files? I know this maybe a stretch to far to imagine and seeing as really high poly models sell on the net for about $70-$80 dollars a piece Tool might be right. I see we keep running into the problem where we don't have a 3D model to convert for use in TDU even in the short time I've been here. This happens quite a lot and a solution to this would be to take them from a game disc from a console.For example we have the Aston Martin DBS which no PC game currently has; but Project Gotham Racing 4 does have it so we plug the disc into our PC, unload the .rar files and voila. I'm not sure if this would work but considering the amount of talent there is on the internet, I'm guessing someone would have already done it. There are some hiccups to this however; the contents of the disc might be incomprehensible to all except the developers and the models may be configured differently and unusable for all but original target console.

If we're going to do a DBS, I say we wait and do it right. A model based off some shoddy kits from Need For Speed just isn't going to cut it. EDIT: The DBS is in Project Gotham Racing 4 and Forza Motorsports 3; also maybe in the 007: Quantum of Solace video game (that is if it renders the cutscenes in real time). Perhaps we can port one from them

Hmm...I don't know what's going on; when I use your painted roof version; some of the interior has this weird grey stone texture. Everything's fine when I actually drive it though.

The weird doors are putting me off. Are you sure you matched the colour codes?
