Please could someone attempt to make a sound mod for the phenomenal 2.5 Litre 5 Cylinder Turbo engine. I did have on attempt at making one but it wasn't very good :sulk: :sulk:. So please could someone like Urban (Legend) or maybe Doctor G or someone cos i think its a fantastic engine and deserves a sound mod. Please ask if you want the recordings from my real TT RS i have 2000 RPM 3000, and 5000 RPM recordings if you want them.

I just used Island Paradise 0.93. I'm sorry that the sound is kinda rubbish :( but ive never made a sound mod before. :crying: :crying:

This was recorded from a REAL TT RS by myself I know the transitions aren't very good but i think it sound decent enough for a release. It's pretty good yeh i like it its got a good growly bass to it just need to adjust to sound to make em blend together better

Im a complete novice at making sound mods but ive tried. My inspiration for doing this is that my dad has one of these :P thats where i got the 5000RPM sound from. I dont know how to but the files into a .bnk format for could someone help with that please so you'll have to put them in with Djey modding tools (sorry about that):crying::crying:. this just messed up my TDU :/ i did all the install like it said in the readme and now it says it cant find binkw32.dll but if i look in the TDU folder there it is so wtf just happened??? can i have some help please D: [mod edit:] Please do not swear or use asterisk's to mimic swearing, thanks.

yeh i just found out that all you need to do is put it to MONO and it works fine only issue is now it works the sound has a ticking noise in it when it starts the engine sound again from the beginning anyone know how to fix??

all of them are MILES under 768 KB the biggest is 323 KB so thats not the problem. could it be an issue with TDU modding tools??? I've been using Audacity to make my music and i save it in what it calles: WAV (Microsoft) signed 16bit PCM. Would signed mean that it's copyrighted or something???

Hi im new to modding and i REALLY want to make a sound mod for the TTRS i have made all the sounds in .wav format but i have no sound at all in game when i put them in using Djey's modding tools -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- and i think its an issue with the .xmb file and if i open it in excel i get CRAP LOADS of random symbols like: )(}{}@~@@><.,F{}_+¬ and so on so please someone help me D:

I seriously CANT WAIT for test drive unlimited 2/high life/sequel or whatever it's going to be called I think that the original TDU was a truly brilliant game but I think there were not really enough cars the sounds were quite poor and there were a few glitches and the AI wasn't very good so if the geniuses at eden and atari address those issues that will be a FANTASTIC game :thumbsup:
