  1. Actually the 2010 ford f-150 has 8.3 inches of ground clearance, while the cayenne has 8.5 inches of ground clearance(10.7 with air suspension). Also diesels produce more torque not power, but although HD diesel trucks produce more torque they weight alot more.
  2. Well, i would disagree, most off road capible trucks are usally modifilied, stock they would really be that much better off road then something like a range rover or a hummer h2,the drivers would just be more reckless seeing how they have a lot less to break.
  3. Lol,don't worrie about,it took me a while to figure out what it stood for. Also the first one was at e3,im pretty sure their was a couple e3 trailers.
  4. Any body else starting to wonder why is twitter page has been so quiet lately?
  5. You do realize that "IMO" stands for "in my opinion right?Regardless, yor right i could probably ague all day long as well, its a great way to kill time. Also chances are that tdu 2 will most likly be fuetured at e3,it just hasen't been confirmed yet
  6. A good peformace suv should perform as well on road as it does off road, and the x5 m and x6 m doesn't.The cayenne turbo s does, and its only a little bit slower and almost handles as well, yet its amost as capible as a range rover.Which is why IMO the cayenne is best all around performance suv in the world.
  7. Well, the bmws make be quicker and handle better, but their limited to 155mph,just like the q7 and the ml,the only one that can break 155 mph is the cayenne. Also how can you consider the bmws better off road??? @ Trentdarby126-Well,what if you wan't a fast car that still tow a good sized trailer or a boat, then what do you buy.Or what if you wan't a seven seater that reach 60 in 5.5 second.
  8. yah, actually in a test done my car and driver the cayenne turbo S did a quicker 0-60 time then the x6 m,but was slower the x5 m.Regardless, the cayenne doesn't compromise off road performace for on road performance, and the x6 m does.
  9. Well thats because they used CGI to make the FM3 video,it wasen't because of the assists. It does look like they used a debug command to the footage, but it looks they used in-game gameplay, rather then scripted events. Also I don't think the suspenion physics are visially completted, look at how the q7 bottoms out,yet it doesn't even appear to touch the ground.
  10. I agree,it would be nice to see at least some hard core off road trails, also, hardcore mode was a good to defeat the unrealistic "jumping".Another thing, suspenion flex was actually pretty well done in tdu 1,though they need to simulate the differenace between solid axles and independant suspension.
  11. I never said it was a good suv,and i would rather have a cayenne as well,at least it works off road, but the q7,or at least the v12 diesel version,is any but boring.
  12. Wait...so your saying a v12, turbo diesel powered, nearly 3 tonne suv, that can reach 60 mph in 5.5 seconds is boring...The q7 v12 tdi has flaws, but blandness is defantly not one of them, lol
  13. Couldn't agree more,it would be nice to an off roader actually designed to work well off road.lol.Maybe they will show us a g55 amg next
  14. That seems to be a popular believe, but on back roads that usally doesn't happen, unless you hit washboard, bumbs or pot holes.Watch for example, start at about 5:50,the q7 only shakes when it hits a bumb or a rock or something like that.
  15. I see offroad trails are still offroad-textured asphalt routes as they are flat and don't seem to let the car slide around. I'd expect even a 4WD to slide as it is quite a weight of that Q7 V12. And what's up with those sparks at the Q7's bouncing?! I can't remember I've ever seen sparks when cars landed on offroad trails. And shaking the camera to give the feeling of driving offroad does not work for me. The car needs to shake more because of the road, not dodgy camerawork like in the disastermovie 10.5 (disaster both as subject as rating). Eventhough your right about the sparks,on back roads cars don't really shake as much as you seem to think, dirt road are usally just really noisy. The only thing that really bothers me is the lack of dust, and the road texturing is ff a bit.It would also be nice if there were more bumps and dips.
  16. Maybe this trailer will do justice to graphics, and maybe give us a more accurate reprentation of the physics.
  17. My guess is that hes talking about a concept off roader of some sort.
  18. great, another reason to hate the fact that added damage, now other peoples recklessness is gonna cost us...
  19. I think it's an interesting idea, apearantly just like everyelse who commented, but in the end it would be,as you put it,too much hassle. And it could cause lienicencing problems with diffrent pricing and such.
  20. semi-sim,i'd like the cars to feel realistic, but not punishing
  21. Heres the article .Also i know that mercedes produces other suvs, but they seem to emphisize on how the mercdes was huge, the glk is a compact suv, while the g-class and ml-class are mide sized suvs, the gl is the only full size suv.Imo all the suvs mercedes produces are worthy imo,as long as they the right trim levels,gl550,ml63 amg,and the g55 amg for example.
