  1. True. I haven't seen support and especially release of new content and improving game mechanics in the way SCS did. Remember for example the bigger integration with World of Trucks and the updated weather and sky system. They definitely deserve and need more people. ETS, ATS expansion and the bus thing as well.... my my my :D
  2. Reviews are coming in :D 8.5/10 - Gamepressure.com - Minuspoints: rather high fines for traffic violations, similarities to ETS2 are too obvious (but they see this game as a successor instead of a parallel title) and only 2 trucks available at launch (SCS got this, I'm not worried one bit). Featured article - Rock, Paper, Shotgun - Minuspoints: can't walk around (he so badly wanted to), ETS2 thing again also for graphics (he mentions lack of AA, but the scaling option works nice for me). 8.5/10 - Destructoid - Minuspoints: it's not 'hardcore' simulation, it's not for those who want vastly different mechanics or improved designs compared to ETS2. 8/10 - PC-Gamer.com - Minuspoints: for some too similar to ETS2, trucks don't feel much different from the European ones.
  3. More scooping: the new Aston's interior. Apart from the massive tablet screen and the seats, I find it hard to say which parts are part of it being a mule and which parts are there to stay, but I can't imagine Aston lovers being happy with this. It's too much Mercedes. A W221 S-Class button panel slapped to the side of the center console, the steeringwheel, the stalks, the current-gen tunnel console button 'dish', the wide display (aka digital gauges...).
  4. And here's that Huayra BC. Some sites think the BC stands for Benny Caiola, a supercar collector.
  5. It's most likely gonna be a mix of a touch screen and touch-sensitive surfaces. The new E-Class has similar surfaces on the steeringwheel spokes, that allow control by swiping, much like a smartphone.
  6. Spoiler looks a bit like those on the newer Porsche's, extending a bit into the tail lights. Also, when I first saw that picture, I thought it had silver colored roof arches (like what the A1 has)... even though I think Aston Martin won't do that, I can't get that image out of my head xD EDIT: even more news: Panamera is saying goodbye to its center console button array.
  7. I would get out a spray can and make the diffuser really black. The radar is still a bit of a let down considering it's all across the VAG range, from Skoda/Polo to Boxster and Panamera. Also just posted on a dutch blog is a picture of what's said to be a DB11 driving on Spanish roads for video captures.
  8. Remember that Opel GT concept? HERE IT IS! As expected, it doesn't have a massive engine and power near that of a Porsche. It has a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder with 145 hp and 205 Nm torque. Despite the weird red highlighting of the front wheels, the car is rear wheel drive and its weight is under 1000 kg. 0-100 km/h is done in under 8 seconds and the top speed is 215 km/h.
  9. That's what I would think, plus the American brands should have heard at least once of the whole 18 Wheels of Steel series. Ah well, with ETS2 they also started out with just a few. They'll pull it off. If they don't want to be included in ATS, they can only be dreaming of becoming a Driveclub Hauler DLC or something
  10. Licensing issues strike once again, SCS has to basically redo what they did for ETS in terms of effort to get some licensed trucks. Source: SCS Software's blog: Truck Licensing Situation Update
  11. I can imagine distance is playing against its discovery.... 20 times as far from the Sun as Neptune!!!!! The Solar System is by far no more the 'compact and cozy' star+9 planets system as I remember it from my 90's pocket guide to the universe. Also, with the actual scale of the picture below, the full size of the solarsystem would be 4,5 km.... Oh dear.
  12. This 911 Flatnose looks a bit odd..... Worse than what I thought a flatnose would look like. It also sort of looks like a racecar with missing bumpers. And on the sideview it looks like a cheap brand toycar with a body not matching the wheelbase...
  13. Also new stuff on the new TVR: Source: Carbon fibre chassis for TVRs new creation | Auto Express
  14. Not laughing, I'm crying, that thing looks silly. 2400 euros for that... no thanks. I'll take the Lotus.
  15. Here's the first image of the Opel GT concept: This is what the old thing looked like: Add a German to it, and you have a teaser video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT9j5aEZXqI Source: Autoweek.nl
  16. Cloverfield was awesome. Indeed, hope they won't mess it up with the sequel. I'm also waiting for the sequel of Prometheus.
  17. The A has very harsh suspension for all day use, and that's already said about normal A's. Not sure about the UK, but on the german/dutch A45's the rear wing is optional equipment.
  18. For those who might be interested, SpaceX is doing another launch-and-return this evening. Their Falcon 9 is gonna bring a new ocean-monitoring satellite in orbit. After that it will return to earth again, this time it will be another attempt to land on that sea platform they have instead of on land. Will be broadcast on NASA's live stream, around half past 6 GMT UK time or half past 7 west-european time.
  19. Fixed it for ya. Now to contact AE lol. It's GM, they do nothing else than badge-engineering. Opel has already been suffering over a decade from GM's influence and it also killed Saab (before Spyker took it over and pushed the corpse into the grave). I'm giving you little chance on it becoming a badge-engineered Buick Avista. That car is intended to fill a gap between two performance cars and Opel is not involved in that segment. As that AutoExpress article states, I expect they'll just use something from the range they already have. Doesn't have to be bad though, look at the Speedster.
  20. Yes there will be, but it's been pushed back without further explaining to later this year.
  21. And here's a lighter yet small reso shot from a vid of some ego-tripping beardguy: Pagani confirmed it will debute at the Geneva motor show, and they also moved the roadster version to a later-this-year introduction.
  22. Yes, free. FREE! They managed to get Nevada done on time before game release, so it will be available from day 1 for all versions of the game as free DLC. American Truck Simulator Map DLC Clarifications
  23. Mighty Saturn, and more stunning shots of the nearly-at-its-end Cassini: Source: NASA
  24. Apollo Automobil 'Arrow' teaser:
