what is classic about a game that i pop in once every month and play for literally 5 minutes?

that would be too much for my taste. also could invest that money elsewhere on the jeep ;) also, we must play battlefield soon sir. I'm still working on getting internets to my xbox in the new house.

It's a good friend of mine's rig. We always give him crap about his vehicles (previous one was a Fiero), but I really like what he has done with this one.

I've always been one to say I hate the blacked out look. I also always hated how it looks on CLKs. However, blacked out gets a lot of looks which is fun. It looks much better in person. Also, it cost me $25 to make them black and I can change it back to silver with the polished lip in about 2 minutes. EDIT: also before making them black I had every intention of getting rid of these and buying some from an SL65.

It is a 430 with no (known) rust besides 2 minor spots on the hood due to rock chips. :-x Bought it 4.5 years ago with 87k miles and now have 147k. Love the car. Driving down the street it still manages to turn heads.

I'm bored and since coming to this site for news on TDU2 has been kinda pointless I figure I will show off muh rides :cheeky: My CLK in its most recent state. crappy pic but you get the idea. Just recently slapped my 19 inch wheels back on and blacked them out. i need to get some better pictures of it but haven't had time. Looking to give it a 1.5 inch drop this summer. Bought it a week ago for a stupid low price. Came with a Rough Country 3.5 inch lift and 31 inch tires, oh and a nice sticker across the rear window that reads "Lift it!...Fat chicks can't jump!" Debating if I should keep it for laughs. Once I get it running 100% (new serp belt and fuel pressure regulator) I will be looking for more lift and more tire. It's a weird feeling when your vehicle starts shifting with only 3 wheels on the ground...

i wont sell the game and i will probably continue to play it every once in a while with the hope that they will slowly perfect it. but that hope dwindles. i seriously doubt we will see a TDU3. In my opinion this was their chance to prove that they can make this series established and profitable. Instead it has been a nightmare. they should just say screw it and start making DLC for TDU1. its established and has the licenses in it already (unless they expired or somethin)

Two things I want are the down shifts to be more realistic. in tdu2 you downshift and it jolts into the new RPM. in TDU down shifts sounded more realistic and fun. also make the weight of the car shift when going wide open throttle between gear shifts. little things like that will make the car feel more like a car. that shift in weight just adds to the feel of driving a powerful beast.

does anybody know when Driver SF is coming out? its been "sometime in 2011" for so dang long now. The original Driver game is the reason I got into video games. Will definitely be buying it.

i have not heard it except in youtube videos. I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying there. I was saying they should replace the sound with that of the CCX if they have to. if this is what I can expect from future DLC I will actually have to think about buying them. After popping in TDU1 with Hardcore mode and my F40 the other day it made me realize even more how much TDU2 is lacking. The down shifting and the way the nose lifts under acceleration would be two things to bring back in an effort to make it more enjoyable.

I think the idea is dumb. I have a feeling that people who don't realize these are "taster" cars, which will be available later, will think they got Atari'd again. Could lose more gamers. Personally I am relieved they are not the final product. Gives them a chance to go correct the engine sounds. If they seriously release everyone's beloved Corvette ZR-1 with that noise...wow. Copy and paste the CCX sound, i dont care, but make it sound like an angry supercharged V8.

smart move on Ataris part to sneak in the zr1 and ACR for free. two that should have been there from the start

its probably my own fault for having sky high hopes. This is by no means a bad game, its just no where near the same feel as the original. This is entirely due to the physics. the problem is as others have stated, every car feels the exact same. i haven't played in probably 2 weeks since i beat it. (partly because my save corrupted yet again) besides the physics, i have had problems with how my friends' cars sound when cruising, it is quite terrible. Things that could save this game for me: a new physics mode like the original hardcore mode. tons more cars, this game was severely lacking in that department for me. and as we all know, lamborghini. This game was sort of doomed for me with the announcement that they would be absent. Just thinking about all this makes me want to pop TDU1 back in and enjoy a cruise in my Murcielago :cry:

repost :D however. the only way I would be happy with a 355 is if they got the sound spot on. thats just a noise you cannot afford to mess up.

clk 63 and the STI. Just bought my Super Sport for the A1 championships, so I'm a bit short on cash (~1mill) otherwise I'd be buying the CCX. Love the looks, the sound and handling.

I now know what people are talking about when they say the scuderia sounds terrible. when you're the one driving it it sounds good but when youre in a server listening to your buddy's it sounds like an RC car. i got a good laugh out of it at first but i fear it is going to be very annoying in the future

ok good i'm not the only one this is happening to. it just started doing that for me about an hour ago. kinda freaked me out because i had been busting my balls to progress again after a corrupt save. but yeah the beeps and scrolling sounds no longer work for me when a race is completed and i wish to advance past the leaderboards. it is just silent

mine's bigger ;) i dont know. he hasn't had any problems. though i secretly hope he does because he laughed at me when my game corrupted. butthead.

My roommate found a wreck on Ibiza and went to pick it up from the used car dealer. Instead of a wreck he got this. will it auto save to the memory stick as you progress if you leave it in? or do you just have to periodically plug it in and copy the save over
