  1. The prblem is that the guy i was working with is kind of abandoning me, that mean that i have to work on 3d models, coding and updating the website that i created.... Thank you for your support! Thank you very much! Yeah, for the money is definitely a problem because i have worked on this for 2 years now, and its far from being finished, but still i never touched a cent. But i may probably change job soon and work in a game company, so maybe they could help me with the development ? who know ? But that is just speculation for now.
  2. A WIP of the mini city i am making. ***EDIT*** Having fun with texturing. Actually, the building process of this city will be quite simple. As making a city is a very long task and require a lot of patience, i will make some reusable blocks (tiles) that i will be able to rotate and mix with others. So, maybe the first playable version of the city will look a little bit repetitive. But, after few updates, it i hope it will start to look nice :) More to come very soon!

Diablo, thats it, thank you very much for adding the link to the original post its perfect ;) Some more infos about the project, right now, the game is available for PC and MAC, but in the near future we would like to make an Android and iOS version as well. The ultimate goal would be to be able to connect or continue a racing career whatever the support you have. So lets say for example that you win a new car on the PC version, you would be able to see the car appearing in the iOS version as well. But its only rough talking at the moment. First i need to make sure that the PC and MAC version core mechanic run perfectly..

I am also very happy to be able to post our project here, because honestly, without forums like this, we would not be able to exist... Thank you for recommending me to post it here :D The next Build, (Build 08) will be much more interesting because it will allow players to share their racing experience with the community. (I can't tell more at the moment :D) I may also implement very simple AI with some challenges to do. At the moment there is no ABS or Traction Control, so i also plan to add these features for the next Build. + a lot of extra stuffs :) Did some of you tried the Build 07 already ? I am sorry i have not the right to publish a link to the game for now so it may be difficult to find.
  5. Hi everyone, I would like to share with you guys a Racing Game that i am currently developing during my free time. The game is still at an early stage of development but it just get better and better every new Builds. We are a very small team of 2 person. My friend made all the cars and the garage. Doctor G of this forum actually made the sound of the F40 (Also used on the F355Challenge) I would say that the strong point of this project is that i am very close to the players and i pay a lot of attention to their feedback. So feel free to leave a comment about what you feel about the project, and what kind of features you would like to see in the future. Basically the road the game is taking right now is a kind of very light Gran Turismo 2. The next Build 08 will have a tons of new features, i will do my best to post progress of it.   7. Hey Doctor G, i did it ! Only with 3 samples though. But it is enough for the effect that i want ! It is still a work in progress but here is the link : Car Demo 1.2 I would like to some more test with other sounds engine. Do you have some more wavs ? I am especially looking for any kind of skyline's sound. Would be really helpful !

  9. Thank you very much for your answer. I will have a look at GT LEGENDS also. Sadly, i have a Mac and cannot get that tools to extract any tdu's samples. If by chance, someone can do that for me, it would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Ozzmcom, thank you for taking time to reply. I see, only 7 sounds can provide very realistic sound so. one confirmation however, what is exactly on & off ? Is it the acceleration and deceleration ? For example : Sound for engine acceleration at 1000, 3000, 6000; And sounds for engine deceleration at 1000, 3000, 6000; ? Would be great if you can confirm that. Thank you again !
  11. Hello all ! I am currently working on a 3D car simulation with Flash. The engine is still at an early stage but the basics are done. Do you know how many samples are needed in order to get a "quite" realistic sound ? For example in TDU, what kind of samples are needed ? And, is it possible to have a link for some samples in a wav format ? I would be glad to hear any advices and suggestions from experienced mod creators. I hope i can finish a speed test demo soon and show it to you ! Thank you for your time.
