Crew Chief by mr_belowski is a “Must have” free sim racing application that simulates a spotter and race engineer. Whilst it does add to your racing immersion, it also has a high degree of functionality and could simplify various aspects of a race.

 

The Crew Chief app will follow and call out your lap times, gaps to the leader and your nearest competitors. It will inform you of crashes ahead, monitor your tire temperatures, call out your fuel status, and much more. You can interact with your virtual Crew Chief by means of assigning keys or by voice recognition. But there are lots more features available, so we will let Jeremy do the talking. Enjoy.

I've been using a conventional sim racing button box for a while now, but bought an Elgato Stream Deck to suplement it a little while ago. This video takes a look at how you might use a Strem deck as a sim racing button box and provides a download link for some sim racing icons for the Elgato Stream Deck.

 

For those that aren't familiar with the Elgato Stream Deck, it's a 15 button USB controller that's pitched at twitch streamers to help them manage their streams. But the Stream Deck's USP is that there's an LCD panel behind the clear buttons, which allows you to display icons for each button. Not only does this allow for fast identification of the buttons functions at a glance, but it also means that you can have multiple profiles, pages, folders etc. each displaying a different configuration of buttons depending on your needs at the time. And, it turns out, that in practice, that makes for a great sim racing button box

Wrench is a game about working on race cars. Players run a shop and responsible for their customers car’s- From fluid changes to replacing engine main bearings. Wrench is being developed as both a VR game and a traditional screen based game and allows players to switch between play modes fluidly. The first two cars licensed for Wrench are the Bauer LTD Catfish and the Exomotive Exocet. Wrench also features a growing library of aftermarket parts that the player can use to address customer needs or install on their own persistent shop cars.

Wrench is a highly detailed race car mechanic simulator that tasks you with maintaining your team's race cars.

 

In this early access release you will:

• Start as at the bottom as a junior level assistant handling fluid and tire changes
  
• Earn XP and gain mechanic levels based on each component of the car you service and the car's race results.
  
• Mechanic level ups grow your role on the team and make you responsible for a larger portion of each car's mechanical systems.
  
• Service a growing library of parts and assemblies in detail including: Engine bottom end, Cylinder head, Front and rear suspension, and the braking systems.
  
• Delegate repair work to mechanics on the team who are junior to you.

HAPPOGAHARA is one of the very unique touge, that contains almost any kind of road characteristics. From hairpains to big wide turns to blind corners. From Wide to very narrow sections.

 

In real life, drifting in Happogahara has been gathered into two places, which are the widest sections of the entire course.

As well as the streepest section which makes the road is wider than general.

 

The sections has divided into 4 continuous snake hairpin corners course (amateur course), and the 8 continuous corners course (advance course).

You must get the local leader's agreement before heading to the advance course.

 

Therefore we're not suggest anybody to go drift there without asking.

In this map we recreated the real life Happogahara atmosphere and possibility the closest details to the actual location.

Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital will deploy the November Update for their Gran Turismo Sport racing title on the PlayStation 4.

Besides the usual fixes, improvements, features, scapes, and events, update V1.29 brings us 9 new cars and a new racing circuit. As usual, the added car list features some modern and classic racing machinery, while the new track brings us to Spain to race the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The November update for Gran Turismo Sport is scheduled for November 6, 2018.

The following is a list of contents included with Update 1.29:

1. The addition of nine new models, including Super GT cars from 2008.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya opened in September 1991, a year before Barcelona hosted the Olympics. Located approximately 30km north of the famous Spanish city, it has become one of the most popular venues for motorsports events, including the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix. With a long straight and a large variety of tricky corners, the race track challenges both drivers and cars alike. Perhaps that's why the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has become a popular test site for the world's leading automobile manufacturers and race teams.

MINI fans unite! This event is for the cute-but-quick MINI Cooper.
