  1. Lmfao, tried sport mode out earlier on in the Veyron SS, sport mode may as well just have the NFS logo on it and called it "import NFS handling" mode. It's very very easy to drive VERY VERY fast, and without a single risk of failing. Insta-win mode! (Edit: Actually, if sport mode is this easy to go so fast, surely the other one, full aids, i forgot the name, is even easier and even faster? Which begs the question, HOW DO PEOPLE STRUGGLE WITH LICENSE TESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)(Wait, cos they are noob) No. Hardcore I'll stick with, simply because it's actually a challenge to drive the SS like that. I struggle to find challenges in other players, so I have to find a challenge somewhere, otherwise what's the point in playing? I know, just to chill and stuff, but it get's boring when you can drive every car perfectly without having to even learn the car that much cos sport mode will do all the hardest work for you. That challenge is still up for anyone on X360. :)
  2. I may do, but if it makes me ridiculously fast I'm switching back, already hard enough to find someone who can keep up with me beyond the first corner. Anyone here fancy getting a trashing? :)
  3. Erm, why is everyone saying Sport feels better than hardcore? Surely NO aids is better than some, right? Whatever, learn to drive maybe. I already got my handling sorted, the Zonda is OMG fast, I don't know how people say the Veyrons are unbeatable, maybe in a straight line, but at a corners braking point, a zonda just lifts the throttle to about 75% and storms in pretty much full bore, and grips, a Veyron, you gotta brake a bit or die. Btw, that's all on hardcore, I never even played anything else cos I want to drive the car, not the computer. (And tbh, the computer already takes away too much of the control from you, even in hardcore it feels like I'm being kept straight by some magical powers as opposed to you know, just driving the car effectively. In the end of the day, I can kick ass in any class, on any given track, so I'm happy. :)
  4. Everyone here clearly missed the most obvious point. I don't blame you though, I am on a higher plain of existence right now. ;) Anyway, erm, yeah, the point, it is, Dubai is nothing more than a playground for all the rich Pak...Arabs to do what they want. TDU2 is a playground for the rich and famous, if you get famous from the Solar Crown series, it certainly gets you rich though. So there you go, why not use a real life playground as an ingame playground. I'd rather they stick to islands though, cos I can understand not being able to drive off the map, cos of the ocean, but if they had invisible walls (wait, they have them in certain places already, HATE the one on the Ibiza circuit that is in the last little chicane, I have hit that without even going NEAR it. The invisible barrier is like on the inside of the corner, off the tarmac, but be careful cos I'm sure it has a mind of its own and it moves into you....)(Sorry....) anyway, invisible walls would suck. And cos Eden already suck anyway, the invisible walls wouldn't even keep people within the playing grounds anyway, I honestly don't know why I even bother. Gotta love blazing.
  5. ;P I have Vista on my desktop, and I have never had a days trouble with it, ever. (The OS, I have had plenty of hardware trouble in the past, but that's all sorted now I have upgraded pretty much everything in it :p) This laptop has 7 on it, and to be very honest with you, I struggle to see any differences between the two, they both have very much the same layout, same features, etc etc. No doubt 7 probably has a lot of extra work in the "background", but to me, the user, the only differences I see are the visual changes. :p Sorry for off topic. ;p I'm going to wait to see what the plans are after the release of the Exploration Pack (across all formats) are before I take a guess at how much longer I'll be interested in TDU2. Saying that though, I always have a quick blast whenever I can. The uniqueness of this game does help to overlook the bugs and missing features. :) You just gotta hate loving TDU, or love hating it, whichever side of the fence you stand.
  6. I love Vista bashers. Funny people. How about we wait for Test Drive Majove? (Google will help you understand why Majove is sooo funny, and proves that people made opinions on Vista before even trying it) Anyway, onwards and upwards. All they need to do is get their acts together, and get a to-do list going, one that they actually look at before they sit down to start messing with gamecode again. I am also 100% sure that Eden offices is full of people just wandering around all day, jacking off into each others waste paper bins. Atleast that's the impression I get. :p
  7. A few more. Would have been a big update had my photo file not somehow corrupted into itself, which further corrupted every photo I took, as soon as I took it. New photo file, all working again. :) (I could probably recover the old photo file, but i cba cos i already got all the pics off it on this :P) -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  8. If I have one thing learned in my life, it's that you take what you can get while you can get it, answer to nobody, and most importantly, never forgive, never forget, and never give it back. I recommend everyone to enjoy the extra cars while they can, because at this moment in time it looks like they are going to be lost forever, which is a shame. Definitely drive the FXX, Gumpert and 458 at least, they are all amazingly quick. The Gumpert feels very much like a Veyron, only it handles. ;P
  9. As soon as someone figures out how to get into the car model files, and correctly alter them to other cars successfully, then "modding" as we know it on TDU1 will be on TDU2 also, but maybe they should wait a bit til Eden/Atari are bored with this project and give up monitoring anything? Don't be stupid man, it's not theft at all, Eden leaving cars on the disc THEN making you PAY EXTRA (regardless if it's 1 penny or a million pounds) to access content that's already on the disc, which you already paid to use, so technically, no, I am not stealing, I am getting back what they decided to steal away from anyone who doesn't pay extra. Fair? No. The only people who actually care about hackers are those who feel somehow affected by a hackers actions, someone driving a coach/taxi/458/gumpert/whatever does NOT harm you in any way, so why care about it? Cos you basically got nothing better to do than check up that everyone else is playing the game the same way as you? If Eden made TDU2 good, I wouldn't bother with this sort of crap, but as it stands, the only fun you can have from the game after finishing it, is driving around in cars. The more cars, the longer the enjoyment will last. For me, only the cars that shouldn't even be there hold that desire to drive them, as obviously I hadn't been able to bore myself to death with them until I figured it out. Thus I extended the lifespan of my game, but the guy on the same server as me won't care what I'm driving, as long as I am keeping my car to myself, and I am not attempting to penetrate everyones exhaust pipe at 134mph! To be honest with you pal, hackers aren't a problem, most of them keep to themselves simply because too much attention is a negative. It's the non-hackers that annoy me most, those pompous no nothing idiots that buy a Veyron (SS, more often than not these days...) then spend the next 3.5 hours ramming you all over the shop for no other reason than they felt like it. Rammers affect the online play a hell of a lot more than seeing the odd hotrod or traffic car drive past. Anyway, rant over, god only knows what I wrote in this post as I'm a bit mentally impaired at this moment in time, good smoke, cya.
  10. If MS allowed the USB thing back when TDU1 came out, it would have been hacked up pretty badly back then. The only reason it survived reasonably well from hackers was because we didn't know what we know today. :)
  11. Try to paint your car in ONE sitting, the overall quality of the paintjob will be much better than if you break it up into "sessions", like Mellors suggests. I do all my cars in one sitting, or not at all, and all my cars look as good today as they did when they was just finished. :)`
  12. Future DLC's will be proper content, not just unlock keys. (I took a peak inside one of the 360 DLC files, and I kid you not, it's a .txt file with ONE line of text (presumably the unique code to that DLC file). Rip off? Hell yeah.
  13. Diablo, you are weird man. You allow modding, you allow people to post mods of cars, yet as soon as someone has a car they shouldn't have, NO PICS OR VIDEOS!!!! Why? There was no Bugatti SS in TDU1, but you can download it as a mod from this site somewhere.... To me, modding and hacking are the same deal, changing game files which you shouldn't even be looking at. Anyway, from the looks of things on the PC side, hex editing is soon to be laid to rest anyway. Until ofcourse someone undoes whatever this patch does. :) Modding/hacking happens every day on TDU2, if you play online for more than one hour and don't see someone with something they shouldn't have, you was probably playing during a server hiccup where you joined noone. :D
  14. I wonder if those 2 cars are acquirable, but with them changing up the savegame and scrutinizing it, maybe they will figure out a way to remove "hackers". Be a damn shame if they do though, I love my 458. Also, I'll let you guys know how the exploration pack effects stuff, if it actually does anything, and it isn't just atari bluffing. (From what a few PC guys been saying though, it looks like they managed to hit the nail in the head with the hex editing stuff, only time will tell if they manage to carry across that security to xbox, hopefully not..)
  15. i play music through my xbox guide, my xbox is hooked up to a nice set of speakers though, so i dont have to put up with horrible tv speakers... honestly the game sounds completely different on each.

  17. The exclusive content crap is getting a bit ridiculous really. A few years ago, you would buy a game, and everything is already there on the disc, these days you buy a game, then need to purchase several bits to unlock things that you already technically purchased. I am 1000000% sure developers are taking advantage of online capabilities, but to our disadvantage. Not everyone has XBL/PSN/internet, so those who play solely offline are getting a royal kick in the teeth regarding patches to make the game what it should have been on day 1!!
  18. Never seen that term used before! That's why I put "DLC", as it's technically downloadable, but doesn't really add anything. ;P ULC is better though, as long as everyone knows what it means. :)
  19. Notice I said "exploit" the physics. That's what the fastest racers on TDU1 did, just exploit everything they give to you and there will be a happy medium in there somewhere. ;) (Hopefully)
  20. You can always cancel the order? I bet all these little things will be long forgotten when you are sat behind the wheel of your very own Lancia (or whatever) and get ready to take on the island. Everything long forgotten except the physics, which will be biting you in the ass until you learn how to exploit it correctly. :P
  21. Or, because the cars appear to be on the disc (for X360 atleast) they can be made accessible by a PC "community patch". ;) Maybe..
  22. 108kb, that means the "DLC" consists of an unlock key of some sort, and the car is already on the disc... (For those confused by Diab's "they are 108's" comment) Reminds me of NFS, Carbon I think it was. Had loooaaaaads of "DLC" which was just unlock keys. The 370Z is a definite for me, just cos I like the car IRL. :P
  23. Yeah, I hope to see you in Ibiza at some point ;p If I can pull myself away from JC2 during xbox time :p
  24. Better than I could have ever wished for tbh pal, things have sort of worked themselves out over the years and it's sorta stabilising now ;P I definitely smoke too much though.. ;P Yourself? Last I heard you was getting a contract to skate?
