    Yeah Gran Turismo is a beauty ... it would be a good edition ... so would a Quattroporte (current one) ... or how about a Bora (not the VW for the uninitiated of you) to name a couple more Massers to consider While on the subject on Classics I'd love the game to have an SZ!

    I'll be just about climbing out of bed by then! Well I'm in no rush to play it ... OK I'll get it on Friday after I finish work, but it's not a life or death situation to get it ... I'll have to try the wheel again at some point ... tried it on PGR3 that came with the wheel ... hated it ... tried it with Forza 2 (bought the wheel with it as a deal in Game) ... hated it ... tried it on TDU ... hated it ... I just hate the way it's constantly fighting you ... not like ANY car I've ever driven ... but perhaps that's just me setting it up wrongly

    You're correct there ... Fifth Gear was created from the production team of the old Top Gear when the Beeb gave up on it (well that's what I remember hearing) I didn't mind the original Fifth Gear ... it filled a gap (so to speak) at the time My complaint about Fifth Gear copying is more about recent history when they had a 'studio' and a lap times board (where they had to 'try' and go one better and have it on a computer) ... that's fundamentally where/when Fifth Gear lost me

    I don't like Fifth Gear for a number of reasons. They blatantly copied Top Gear on a number of items ... track, etc I can't stand Plato ... sorry no logical explanation, Tiff and Tom are OK though I absolutely hate the Crash Tests they do ... yes great television ... but the message they often put across isn't entirely correct or often way too generalised to really give good advice to the gereral public I know Top Gear has now morphed into an Entertainment show rather than a car review show ... but it's great TV ... I don't think a show like the old Top gear would survive these days

    If you want another great driving road try ... Healy Pass, on the Cork/Kerry border, it's a great little road (not a long one but a good quick blast). I did it years ago in the Mini and it was a good laugh. Start at the top ... down into the valley (avoiding the sheep) and then back up the other side

    Just noticed I'm now 'Nugget' ... and from a post which I think I've now corrected ... it all stems from a few things 1. my brain works a lot quicker than I can type (that's my excuse) 2. I can never remember where half the keys are on the keyboard (so my typing is a lot slower than my brain ... see reason 1) 3. I often change what I'm writing half way through the paragraph (which causes problems with points 1 and 2) 4. I can't spill to save my lif ... I'm an engineer and we're not designed to spell! Well that's my silly excuses ... I'm hoping nige comes up with a classic!

    Glad to see Top Gear back on the air and firing on all cylinders The Golf was just insane! It was great to see the banter is still there between the 3 of them ... and loved the little jokes about 'Fifth Gear' (which personally I can't stand ... don't ask me for reasons). Oh and as for the road trip ... Well I was drooling big time from the noise of the V10 ... but then most of you know that I'd love to own a Gallardo ... I'm glad my neighbour was out as that bit was a bit loud on my TV! Oh and loved the bit when Clarkson put the shades and Matt Munro on! Sorry I missed the drive last night but I was then watching Palin and Smallville

    Well I normally do a cruise/event most Mondays (as long as I'm around and online). As to cars ... well I try and vary the subject each week ... mainly so I don't get bored driving the same car time and again ... especially as I have all of them. Recently I've done ... A3s/R32s, Concept Cars, Topless, 'G' Class, Black Lexi As to next week ... who knows yet

    Well I was umming and ahhhhhing about getting it ... Do I really need another circuit racer as I have Forza2 (which I'm now bored of) and I have PGR3 from when I bought the Wireless Wheel (and I have to admit I haven't really played it) But this does look good I like the idea of team colours for the cars ... anyone want to start a TDU-C Team? I like the wandering around the garage ... take note Atari! I like the dynamic weather I also like the car list ... the Cossie looks great and I love the slides the Yank Tanks were doing! Looks like it might be a purchase!
