Hardcore DOTW is the fastest time set on a online race event in TDU's online mode test run. The player has to take a picture (for consoles) or screen shot as evidence of the time. The image must be a maximum size of 800 x 600 and posted when the player feels they have a winning time. You can change the picture as often as you like before the closing date. But you can only have one post with the picture so you must edit your post each time. This is to keep the thread tidy. The winner at the end of the week with the fastest time can choose the next event. The only rule is the event must be different to the current Hardcore DOTW event. You can use any car/bike tuned but must be the same class. DLC cars/bikes are also allowed unless there is a clear advantage gained. The event each week will be in this format: Event name | car/bike class | map reference | online race number on the Island map Important!! The picture can not be an image of the rankings list. Your time will not count if you post the rankings list. Due to limits with the game we must trust you to use Hardcore mode. My user name is from the mini gun in Unreal Tournament. I always found I was using it.

I'm changing it to every two weeks so there will be time to get the races from the winners. Then we have a full week to try and get the fastest time. So the threads will be made on Sunday.

This game is from the people that made the popular Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942. They also helped with Battlefield 2 so they have taken all the bits that worked and some new ideas and created Frontlines. I like the idea of the frontlines part, like they say you are not chasing around the map like other Battlefield games. I am going to get this I'm sure as I like the battlefield type games.

Simple reason I can't "police it" so it's left up to the game. It's only a bit of fun at the end of the day.

Audiosurf demo is out now and it's worth your time to download it. The full version is also out now and for the money it's another bargain like the orange box. There is endless hours of gameplay as the levels are your own music. I highly recommend this if you like music, just download the demo to see if your computer will run it. There are some good characters that add even more depth to the game. It works well with any kind of song and some songs are just perfect. The option is turn it off which is what I do if the pic needs to look good. ;)

I just checked the forum and looks like some others have the same problem. What direct x and drivers are you using? It could be because it's a beta and you may have to wait for the full version. There is a demo out on Friday so try that first to see if it's still the same.

What format are your songs? If they are DRM protected you have to burn them to CD then you can use them.
