  1. Yes was a good show maybe the best so far. Funny part was the Daihatsu had it beat in the stats apart from top speed & 0-60 time. :D
  2. For those of you that can't stop playing TF2 and are mad for stats this is interesting http://www.steampowered.com/status/tf2/tf2_stats.php
  3. Yes that is the car of the moment for me. Plus the car is only as fast as the driver. ;) PS it means I got a good reason for being last. :D
  4. Yes that spec is good for all high. But there are a few optimization problems with TDU as it's ported from the 360. So it may glitch a few times but it's normal and still happens on the fastest PC's.
  5. Interesting Q&A with new info http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/840/840000p1.html
  6. I think the PS3 missed this generation of games but who knows what the future may bring. ;)
  7. The sig says it all. ;) Lotus Esprit V8 (stage 3) all days.
  8. Welcome to the forum. There are lots of videos here just to make you want it more. :D There are video sections in this forum so have a look around.
  9. The trailer was very impressive any hidden info this time? http://www.rockstargames.com/IV/trailer_splash.html
  10. Reminder for today the trailer should be ready 8pm GMT that is 3pm EST :excited: Very handy time converter site I found http://www.timeconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc Plus to get you in the mood here are some screen shots and some are new http://uk.media.xbox360.ign.com/media/827/827005/imgs_1.html
  11. It's the time of year again where driving is just a bit more difficult. Auto Express have the results again this year that helps you choose the best tyres to buy. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/total_tyre_guide/213177/tyre_test.html
  12. Christmas is always time with the family but the table works out well for me because I can confirm the only dates I'm away are the 24th - 27th. :)
  13. Could they do a donate scheme where they release the first pack for free then if you are happy with it donate some money towards pack 2 and so on? That way if you want pack 2 sooner donate more money. I'm sure we can trust Atari to release pack 2 when the set money is received. This way Atari get their money and the community get the cars and no one has to worry about hacking. Then if not enough money is raised for pack 2 the money goes towards a bug free PC TDU2 ;). Just an Idea. :)
  14. Welcome nice to see you finally join the fun.
  15. Disclaimer: This post is the view of S71NG3R, and does not represent the views of the other tdu-central staff. Well with the risk of being banned from this forum it is good. Much better than all the underground NFS's and more like the first ones. But you can still add body kits and spoil a perfectly good car if you want to. Likes: Grip racing and most race days use a lot of grip racing. Cars are harder to drive so you have to use the brakes, yes I was shocked too. :D lots of track combinations and some are of real life tracks like Mondello park in the vid. It's more like a toca game than a NFS game with tuning and setups. Also the way the cars handle is more like toca, not played Fonza 2 so don't know if they are as close as EA say. The cars feel waited so you can feel the body roll more so than any semi-sim game I've played before. I was most impressed with the AI the best by a long way. Ok they are programmed to make mistakes as you could see from the vid. But they are very random so no race is ever the same. The sound of the cars is very good and the tyres sound right too. I like the race days idea so you have to look after the car or pay to fix it. The cars have to last the full race day so if you don't want to pay money then drive carefully. Or you can use insurance tokens if you have won any or bought some. Dislikes: It's still NFS so you get all the flashy bits and balloons. :wtf: The announcers are the worst parts by far and they should have been put to sleep not paid by EA. lucky you can turn them down or off. Drifting is very bad but once you get to know how the car slides you just do it and move on. Drag racing is fun but all over too soon and I'm not a big fan off drag racing anyway. The speed racing is very much like normal NFS games where you just have to drive flat-out so not a lot of fun. But it gives you a break from the other racing I guess. The changes you make to the setup should be more noticeable. Like you should be able to feel the changes, but maybe it's because I'm more for full sim racing. Overall thought: I would say get it for the grip racing and don't expect too much and it can be a fun game. If you hate the NFS world with a passion then you will be better off leaving it on the shop shelf.
  16. I have to apologise in advice to Diablo for this but I have taken my losing bet on the chin and got Pro Street. Now sorry to have this in such a nice forum but just to let you know what I am having to play. Also like the team player I am I have made a vid so you can see for yourself what it's like. Then you don't/do have to buy it. You see I think there is a hidden gem here I don't know how they did this but just maybe there is some fun here. Lets just say I was lost for words after a few races.
  17. That is some news then I guess. :D PS you may want to refer to The_Mole as she/her ;)
  18. Well the colours look like standard options. You can have any combination of colours from the factory. If you are spending that much money I'm sure you could even ask for pink wheels. :p
  19. A bit late Nodz this time, there is a thread already below this one :p http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=274&page=2 I posted the link to the vid at the bottom yesturday. ;) But yes good to have a new thread I guess. :)
