  1. Camel, why are you so fricking selfish, having a birthday every single year is a bit excessive no? Happy Birthday, AGAIN.
  2. I drafted a reply to that post but I think this just comes down to different opinions and perspectives and could go on forever :p Though, I might not be 'into it', but my family are rather insane regarding football so I tend to know most things, just not by choice haha
  3. Oh believe me I completely hate how much focus the whole bloody world cup gets in the media, not just the English team. However you can't really complain about an English bias in the UK if none of the other countries are good enough to even qualify. And scotland haven't for what, 15-16 years? If they do, and the English still get over 70% of the attention then your rhetoric is completely fair enough. But to complain that the one country that qualified in the UK is getting a lot of attention within the UK just seems a bit pointless, which then highlights your wish to leave the UK, and shows that the reasoning you put for being 'ABE' in the quoted post, and the actual reason are two completely different things. In this tournament, only England qualified out of the 4 within the UK, are you really suggesting our media not focus on that team? We are a helluva lot less nationalist than most countries on the planet, so i'm rather confused. I completely agree with being sick and tired of hearing about the england team and whatever, but its more to do with me being sick and tired of hearing about the england football team, the main word being football, not england. And the whole 'ABE' and the whole independence thing is the scottish going 'waaah waaah' so i don't exactly understand that either.
  4. It's this kind of thinking which makes me almost hope the yes campaign wins. Edit: and this is coming from someone who isn't interested in football.
  5. Haha I knew exactly the photos that would open as soon as I read the thread title, now that does take me back a fair bit. I didn't think it was 5ish years though!? Jesus christ time has flown.
  6. Good thread Merc :) I hope I'm able to see a fair bit of it.
  7. I've had tickets booked for a 'drive some supercars' day (which isn't cheap) for the past 3 years and haven't got around to it due to being so busy. So i'm rather jealous you found the time Ry, my ticket is still valid so I might bother if I find the time ;yawn:
  8. The horse makes a big difference. Could you imagine Red Dead Redemption without a horse? I enjoy a good tom clancy game. Bit annoyed it's yet ANOTHER game set in NY. Games are either in fictional areas or NY, hardly ever anywhere else. --- Post Updated --- My top picks from the MS conference: AC: Unity, Fables Legends, Tom Clancy: The Division The Witcher 3 Possibly Tomb Raider, would need a bit more convincing before I purchased it.
  9. Never heard much about nor played a Witcher game before, but this Witcher 3 looks right up my street.
  10. Considering I enjoy just playing single player, I hope they haven't sacrificed too much of the campaign to go in the way of COD and its multiplayer focus as AC is one of my fav games.
  11. Looks a bit hectic, not a fan of what I've seen so far. Considering I only play CoD campaigns, I doubt i'll be buying this one.
  12. I always forget how much I hate the "WOOOO, YEAHHHHH, MURICA, CLAP CLAP" cheesyness of most of E3.
  13. Not really kept that up to date with gaming news recently so I'm looking forward to watching E3 with little to no prior knowledge on a fair few things, hopefully should be a nice surprise.
  14. His only tweet is rather funny: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bpsme21CUAENKa8.png:large Rest in peace, I didn't follow a lot of his work but recognise a him from a few places.
  15. Yah, it was very entertaining. Big congrats to Ricciardo though!
  16. I'll be in Milan just over a month before you, I'll let you know if there's anything in particular I recommend :) I'm flying into Rome staying for a few days, visiting Florence for a few nights and then Venice for a few nights before travelling to milan for a while, can't wait.
  17. Aww I loved our N64, Goldeneye, what was it, Starfox or that fox game too? I could draw a picture of it accurately but can't remember the name  I have such a crap memory.
  18. Language Dan ;) Sorry to hear that Emir! the fact you're on here to tell us about your woes is a positive sign haha, get well soon! You'll look back on something like that as a funny 'i'm such an idiot' moment in a few years :)
  19. I do. As with TDU and TDU2, some of the more basic cars were fun.
  20. It's good that you're still saying that now, my biggest pet hate with games and the reason I lost interest in gaming to a wider extent was the shorter story lines and reliance on online multiplayer. Re-playability like TDU1+2 is what I enjoy. I'll look into it if I get bored over summer :D
